• Ala (9/5): Highly recommend! Brilliant family home, such a serene spot. Loved the picnic table up under the gumtrees. - The view draws you in over and over, both day and night. The wild life and kookaburras are unreal, along with the friendly horses and cow on the property. Loved going down and having a pat. Very comfortable family home, with everything you need. Host is so lovely to chat to, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommend dinner on the deck. Just bliss. Nothing we didn’t like. Very comfortable, and our dog loved it too. I would recommend calling and checking if pubs are open and serving food on holidays however! We had a great meal at the Boolarra Hotel and Yinnar Hotel, but hours are quite constricted.

• Sherrie (10/5): A beautiful, relaxing stay with amazing views and genuinely kind hosts, highly recommend. - The stay was incredibly relaxing. The views were absolutely stunning, and the whole property had such a peaceful, calming atmosphere. The hosts were also super kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Nothing major, everything was comfortable and as described. No complaints at all.
• Banerjee (7/5): Overlall satisfactory - The view from the room is excellant. The host is also very good. The cupboard in kitchen is loose and could fall. The shower taps also came off. The fly screens are torn. Needs bit more maintenance ans looking after.

• Raf (6/5): Scenic view house - The views from this home were absolutely stunning. The scenery was breathtaking and made our stay feel extra special. The location was peaceful and the overall setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house had all the basic amenities we needed. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the home. There was hair in the bathroom, the toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned, and the microwave still had food scraps inside and the smell was horrendous. The blind screen fell off when we tried to open the screen.

• Dagmar (9/5): Country stay - We had a great stay at Gilbert Rise. The property is so peaceful with a great view. It has everything you might need for a relaxing stay - beds are comfy, the deck so peaceful for a morning coffee or just to relax with a book. There is an aircon for hot days and a fireplace for cold nights.
• Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Stunning location, great insulation to the house - never got particularly cold of a nighttime. The entry to the driveway is incredibly unstable - motorcycles beware. Very loose gravel on an incline, very difficult to dismount without the kickstand digging into the ground and tipping over. Wifi password didn't work, but didn't bother messaging to resolve as I barely spent any time there during my stay.
