• Sylwia Swierzbinska (9/5): - Bardzo przyjazny i pomocny personel . Moi rodzice mieli odświeżony pokój a my trochę w gorszej wersji ale niczego w nim nie brakowało . Śniadania bardzo smaczne ,co jakiś czas inne danie dla urozmaicenia posiłku .Basen zadbany ,teren sprzątany regularnie . Plaża w odległości 10 min spacerem na plaży można zobaczyć poniemieckie bunkry jako ciekawostkę historyczna . Wszystko mi się podobało w końcu brałam tam ślub 😁

Grande piscina pulita e colazione a buffet varia e sempre rifornita. Un grazie particolare a Mihael,molto simpatico e sempre disponibile,che dire,se dovessimo andare ancora a Rodi ci torneremo sicuramente.

Remote location, however placed about 30 minutes away from lots of tourist locations and beautiful beaches At first we were accommodated to an old room, which was sticky as hell, it was very loud inside and we had to kill a cockroach in the bathroom. The next day stuff offered us new and renovated rooms which were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was still pretty loud at night. The bathroom didn’t have hot water for most of the time, and when it did the pressure was extremely weak. The hotel is located in remote area, so it is only viable to stay if you have a car. The WiFi was there but it was pretty weak.

Un consiglio ai proprietari: impegnatevi nella gestione oppure pensate di chiudere definitivamente!!

• Guest (8/5): Très bon séjour à Afoudou Mare nous recommandons. - Nous avons apprécié la qualité du personnel, la piscine, la restauration, le petit déjeuner et son emplacement. Nous avons moins aimé la puissance de l’eau de la douche et le rideau qui n’était pas très pratique.
• Katharina (6/5): - - Lage war top - Pool war schön - konnten am Abreisetag so lange bleiben wie wir wollen - Frühstück war ok - typisch Süden - Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurde regelmäßig gewechselt - Kühlschrank im Zimmer war sehr laut - Musik vom Pool wurde um ca 9:30 Uhr sehr laut aufgedreht das man nicht mehr schlafen konnte - hatten ein nicht neu renovierte Zimmer, das Bad war dementsprechend… duschen mit einem viel zu langen Duschvorhang setzt das komplett Bad Unterwasser - mit dem Warmwasser und dem Wasserdruck musste man Glück haben - viele Katzen - uns wurde am Balkon das Handtuch von einer Katze angepinkelt - daher als Tipp auf eigene Gefahr die Sachen raushängen

• Jose (7/5): We really enjoyed staying here and it was the perfect place to base ourselves from to enjoy exploring the island. - We had the most fatastic holiday with this hotel as our base. We liked the location which is quiet but very easily accessible to lots of places around the island, nice eating places and nice beach very close by. The congregation of cats as a ‘welcoming committee’ on the steps at arrival is very cute! The hotel throughout was very clean, all areas from main entrance to bedrooms and balconies are all emmaculate. All bed sheets are perfectly clean and towels too. Air conditioning in each room too (needed!) Maid services are great. Loads of parking available. Lovely refreshing juice always available in the entrance to help yourself to. There was a lovely looking pool area with comfortable loungers, but we never used this as we were out enjoying the island! There was also a nice games area with pool and table hockey. The breakfast was great - something for everyones tastes and plenty of it but not in that grotesque way that hotels often have, where you know most if it ends up in the bin. There is a nice amount of lovely prepared food and fresh fruit etc without the obvious senseless waste. Michail (hotel day manager) is the nicest, kindest most likeable man who will try to help with anything he can. Dimitri is also super kind and very helpful in the evenings if you need anything at all. The guy in the bar area will pull up a chair and chat and serve anything you need. Super down to earth and friendly. The staff in this hotel are really what make this such a pleasant stay, very down to earth nice guys working together in a business. I would return and stay here again and i would recommend it. The hotel is a 30 minutes drive from the airport and 30 minutes from the old town of Rodos. Ideal for quietness and accessibility to everything. The bathrooms are very basic and showers are small with sometimes little pressure, they have very long shower curtains that trail into the shower tray or block the drain. You end up with a puddle on the bathroom floor and a half wet floor mat. To be honest these things dont really bother me so much but people who love bathrooms and more luxury might be a little dissapointed. Everything is clean though. And it is not a deterrant to stay here. Air conditioning units take a short while to kick in, be patient, once they start working they are very effective. The bed in our room was quite hard. The beds in the room my teenagers were in were both much more comfortable and they had no complaints at all. Some rooms have slightly more tired looking furniture but again, are all clean. I think they maybe part way through replacing some pieces in each and every room of the hotel. Some rooms appear more refreshed than others.

Tante taverna molto vicino per cena tipica e conveniente. La bella e grande piscina. L'orario d'accesso a la piscina in particolare a la sera. La portata di acqua problematica ad alcune fasce orario. La diversità giornaliera della collazione sarebbe da aumentare.

• Palina (9/5): - I stayed at this hotel alone for five nights and had a wonderful experience! The location is fantastic: if you’re coming from the airport by taxi it’s very convenient, and if you rent a car there is a large parking area on-site. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and for those who like a bit of fun transport, there are e-scooters and e-bikes available. There’s also a parking zone for public scooters and bikes right at the hotel entrance. The hotel has a large and very pleasant swimming pool where I enjoyed relaxing. After 8 PM, the hotel restaurant serves mainly pizza, but there are also nice restaurants within walking distance. The beach is comfortable and well-equipped with sunbeds (do note it’s a pebble entry). Around the hotel you can feel the charm of local life — sometimes you might even hear sheep nearby or a rooster singing in the morning, which added a cozy, authentic touch for me. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful, and far from the tourist hustle, which I loved. There is also a small shop on the hotel grounds where you can buy souvenirs or snacks, the breakfast was very good, and above all, the staff were absolutely amazing — so friendly and welcoming! If you’re looking for a photo-worthy experience, you’ll find small olive groves within walking distance from the hotel in both directions. They are especially magical at sunrise or sunset — perfect for a peaceful walk and beautiful pictures. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a not crowded area.

• Katarina (8/5): Prisvärt, utmärkt bemötande och överlag väldigt nöjd med läget och standarden! - Stort och fint rum med balkong, skön säng, fint badrum. Städat varje dag. Bra läge, god frukost, trevlig personal, fin pool. Lugnt och skönt, över förväntan! Det enda negativa med hela boendet var att ac inte riktigt orkade hålla kylan.
• Юлия (10/5): Восторг и только приятные впечатления❤️ - Мы остались в полном восторге от отдыха! ✨ Персонал отеля очень дружелюбный и отзывчивый — создается ощущение, что приезжаешь не просто в отель, а в гости к хорошим друзьям. Чувствуется искренняя забота о каждом госте, и это очень приятно.💜 Номер был чистым, с удобной мебелью и комфортной кроватью. Уборка проводилась регулярно, что добавляло уюта и спокойствия. Зона бассейна заслуживает особого внимания: он всегда чистый и комфортный, есть отдельная часть для детей. Вокруг достаточно лежаков, а прямо у бассейна можно заказать холодные напитки и еду. Рядом также находится игровая зона с бильярдом и другими развлечениями — отличный вариант для отдыха всей семьёй. Завтраки в отеле — это отдельный плюс. Шведский стол с вкусной и свежей едой приятно удивил. Очень советую брать завтрак — это действительно экономит и время, и деньги. Пляж находится в шаговой доступности, лежаки там стоят недорого (10€ за два лежака и зонт), что также оказалось очень удобно. Кроме того, в отеле можно арендовать машину по вполне приемлемым ценам — это большой плюс для самостоятельных поездок и экскурсий. Особое удобство — небольшой магазинчик прямо в отеле, где круглосуточно можно купить напитки, снеки, сувениры и многое другое. Это очень выручает, когда что-то нужно быстро и без лишних поездок. В целом мы остались невероятно довольны выбором отеля. Прекрасная атмосфера, отличный сервис, комфорт и уют — только восторг и самые приятные впечатления! Соотношение цена и качества просто отличное. Мы с удовольствием вернёмся сюда снова и будем рекомендовать этот отель друзьям и знакомым. 🌺 Расположение отеля довольно уединённое: рядом нет продуктовых магазинов, а рестораны поблизости немного дороже среднего. Но это было очевидно ещё при бронировании, поэтому сюрпризом не стало. Совет для гостей — лучше взять машину напрокат (это удобно прямо в отеле), тогда отдых будет максимально комфортным и разнообразным.
• Elpida Maria (9/5): Ruhig und modern für einen tollen Pärchenurlaub - Sehr schönes Hotelzimmer. Modern und sehr schöne Ambiente Beleuchtung im Superior Room. Wir waren als Paar (20 und 22 Jahre alt) da, für 5 Tage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte Auswahl und war lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist schön ruhig für einen entspannten Urlaub. Der Pool war toll und es gab einige Aktivitäten die man neben dem Pool machen konnte. Alles in einem war es ein schöner Urlaub. Die Reinigungskraft kam leider unregelmäßig. Plus: Wir hatten leider keinen Mietwagen, daher waren wir auf Taxis angewiesen. Zufuß ist der Strand knapp 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Das war leider etwas anstrengend, aber daran trägt das Hotel keine Schuld. Es empfiehlt sich jedoch ein Mietwagen um etwas mehr sehen zu können, da das Hotel sich an einem ruhigen, abgelegenen Ort befindet.

• Marja-Leena (7/5): - Ilmastoinnista, aamupalasta, reseptionin isännästä, joka oli päivisin Syrjäisestä sijainnista, bussipysäkkikin oli kaukana, joten mahdotonta liikkua julkisilla hirveässä helteessä. Ainoastaan yksi pieni kauppa melko lähellä, jossa korkeat turistihinnat ja pieni valikoima. Monenlaisia pieniä ongelmia mm. ovikortti ei toiminut, vettä ei tullut esim. aamuisin, paineongelman takia, kiinteistönhoitaja sai kyllä aina paineen korjattua.

• Vandana (5/5): More a 2* than a 3* - The breakfast was better than we expected. It was probably more a 2* than a 3*. Very basic. The shower cubicle was too small and the toilets smelt. It was very noisy. The AC didn’t work in our room and the manager had no intention of being helpful.

No water, lift out of order, A/C didn't work, breakfast had dirty dishes, no refill of breakfast buffet on time. Nothing was properly done! Very bad infrastructure!

• Αγγελικη (1/5): - Η πισίνα ήταν καθαρή !! Το μόνο θετικό Θεωρώ απαράδεκτο το γεγονός να μην έχει νερό ! 6 ημέρες για 660€ και να μην μπορούμε να κάνουμε μπάνιο !! Αγοράζαμε μπουκάλες νερού από το mini market του ξενοδοχείου που φυσικά μας της χρεώνανε κανονικά για να κάνουμε μπάνιο ΤΡΑΓΙΚΟ το λιγότερο , η δικαιολογία ήταν ότι υπάρχει θέμα με το νερό στο νησί . Ας το δεχτώ (αν και άλλα ξενοδοχεία μια χαρά είχαν νερό ) απλά ενημερώστε τον πελάτη . Δεν γίνεται να μην υπάρχει πίεση στο νερό να βγαίνουν σταγόνες από την ντουζιέρα και να γεμίζουμε μπουκάλια για να μπαίνουνε για μπάνιο ! Οποία ώρα και να μπαίναμε είτε πρωί είτε πολύ βράδυ η πίεση ήταν ίδια ! Η χειρότερη εμπειρία σε ξενοδοχείο !! Λυπάμαι πολύ

• Jesse (8/5): Kurzurlaub - Das Hotel ist sehr schön und hat einen wirklich sehr netten Außenbereich mit Pool, auch das Personal war unfassbar hilfsbereit und super nett. Die Lage ist gerade, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist schwierig, da man eigentlich, außer zum Strand, überall hin ziemlich weit laufen muss.

• Sibiriakova (9/5): Ми залишилися задоволені проживанням тут ) - Готель дуже охайний, чистий, видно, що за всім доглядають і слідкують, для мене особисто це дуже важливо! В номері було чисто та охайно і завжди гарно прибирали. Всі співробітники готелю дуже привітні і чемні, було приємно спілкуватися з усіма! Біля басейну іноді не дуже гарно працював wife. Іноді ввечері був не дуже гарний напор води. Поряд був не дуже гарний супермаркет, кращій знаходився далі.

• Rox (7/5): Redelijk - Het zwembad is heerlijk, groot en de poolbar erg vriendelijk. De grootte van de kamer, balkon was super. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam Het bed in mijn kamer deed pijn. De ligging is als je geen auto heb een beetje in de middle of no where.. De ontbijtzaal is vreselijk warm en geen airco, ook niet in t hotel zelf. Op de kamer werkt hij super.

• Marina (8/5): Можна орендувати, якщо ви в номері плануєте лише ночувати. - Достатньо просторий номер, в номері є необхідне: шафа, тумби, холодильник, чайник та чашки. Був присутній не приємний запах після тривалої відсутності нас протягом дня, коли вікна зачинені не працює кондиціонер. Витяжки в санвузлі немає. Прибирання відбувалось в незрозумілому порядку, не кожен день пропонували прибрати та за 5 днів не змінювали рушники.

La colazione lascia molto a desiderare, le stoviglie non sono ben lavate. Le pulizie in stanza non sono state fatte tutti i giorni e gli asciugamani vengono cambiati ogni tre giorni. In generale la qualità prezzo è accettabile ma i servizi sono “passabili”.
• Oleksandra (1/5): - Firstly, the photos on booking are not true, we were in a much older room, they just renovated some rooms and decided to put these rooms on the site. Secondly, the water pressure is very weak, sometimes there was no water at all for several hours. I have long hair, so it was problematic to bathe when the water barely flows from the shower and this happened every day. but that's still not the worst. we bought some fruit and bread for sandwiches and we got ants. We went to the reception and showed that our bread was full of ants, to which we received an answer that there was a farm nearby and it was all because of the farm and they couldn't do anything about it. The man working at the reception said that I shouldn't throw away the bread but I could just remove the ants from there and continue eating. Honestly, I didn't expect such an answer, I thought that the hotel would at least offer to poison these ants somehow. The next day the situation worsened because we found a big cockroach in the room! (we removed the food, we didn't have food scattered around the room) We chased for half an hour to kill this cockroach, I am pregnant and got a lot of stress. We killed the cockroach and took it to the reception, to which we again received an answer that it was all because of the farm nearby and that the hotel is not located in the city but in the village, so it is normal and if we want we can talk to the manager, he wrote down our room number but no one talked to us. I am in shock. I do not think that huge cockroaches in the room are normal, it is not normal! We found on the Internet that it is an American cockroach, I have seen such a thing for the first time. In total, we stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, and I really regretted it, we should have chosen another hotel, but since the choice was small, we were led by the beautiful photos of the hotel, which was a mistake.

• Meggie (8/5): Bon séjour à Afantou - La piscine est vraiment super agréable. L'hôtel est bien situé, proche de la plage d'afantou que nous avons beaucoup aimé, proche de la route principale . Le lit était assez grand et la clim fonctionne bien, le parking est gratuit, le fait de pouvoir acheter des boissons fraîches + snack à l'accueil est un plus ! Pour finir, nous avons adoré la gentillesse du monsieur à l'accueil (qui parlait très bien français). Nous avons passé un agréable moment !! Le lit est un peu trop ferme, il faisais trop chaud pendant que nous prenions le petit-déjeuner et le dernier jour il n'y avait pas de pression dans la douche mais ce n'est qu'un détail.

Het zwembad is groot en rustig en het strand is 10 minuten lopen. Perfect verblijf voor als je de rust opzoekt. Het personeel is enorm aardig en helpen je met alles. Ontbijt is ook top! Lekker uitgebreid en elke dag maken ze iets speciaals klaar. Het is handig eigen vervoer te hebben, maar de bus is op prima loopafstand en brengt je op alle bezienswaardige locaties van het eiland. De badkamer kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken en wat meer stopcontacten op handige plekken (naast de bedden) had ook wel lekker geweest. Uiteindelijk maakt het ook weinig uit aangezien je er waarschijnlijk toch alleen maar slaapt, maar het zou wel wel van toegevoegde waarde zijn.

Завтрак был хороший, ресторан был чистый приятный. Бассейн чистый, персонал был очень приветливый. Особенности Михаил очень приветливый старался помогать во всём что мог очень добрый приветливый позитивный человек это очень важно. • Mirko (1/5): Cambio nome ma stessi problemi - Piscina, unica pecca che alle 18 chiudeva. Quindi mai usata tranne una mezza giornata. Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane e purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente sotto molti aspetti. La struttura ha cambiato nome da “Sivilla” ad “Afandou Mare”, ma il cambio sembra solo di facciata: il vecchio hotel aveva una pessima reputazione (valutazione 2,2) e purtroppo i problemi persistono. Avevamo richiesto un letto matrimoniale, ma ci è stata assegnata una camera con due letti singoli separati, senza possibilità di modifica. La stanza era molto datata, con un condizionatore non regolabile (telecomando non funzionante) che restava acceso o spento senza mezze misure. Questo lo rendeva impossibile da usare in modo confortevole, specialmente di notte. Il balcone era inutilizzabile: il tavolino in plastica era rotto e l’unità esterna del condizionatore emetteva aria calda direttamente all’esterno, rendendolo soffocante anche la sera. Il frigorifero era funzionante ma incredibilmente rumoroso, al punto da svegliarci più volte durante la notte. Tra i servizi era indicato il phon, ma non era presente in camera: ci è stato consegnato in reception su richiesta, con l’obbligo di restituirlo subito dopo e con un atteggiamento poco cordiale. La pulizia è stata molto carente: in diverse occasioni la camera non è stata rifatta (con la scusa che non riuscivano ad aprire la porta), asciugamani e lenzuola venivano cambiati ogni 3–4 giorni. I sacchi della spazzatura venivano spesso lasciati nei corridoi, creando cattivi odori. La colazione è stata probabilmente l’aspetto più deludente: scelta molto limitata, qualità bassa e piatti ripetitivi. La parte salata sembrava sempre la stessa ogni giorno e di qualità scadente, mentre quella dolce era composta solo da prodotti confezionati. L’acqua era del rubinetto e i succhi sembravano allungati con acqua. Nel complesso, purtroppo non possiamo consigliare questa struttura. Un cambio di nome non basta per offrire un’esperienza accogliente e curata.

• Alexandros (4/5): Δεν αξίζει τα λεφτά του - Πρωτα απ ολα δεν μας εδωσαν το δωματιο το οποιο ειδαμε και κλεισαμε. Αλλα εδειχναν οι φωτογραφιες και αλλο μας δώσανε, ενα πολυ υποδεέστερο δηλαδή. Κάθε μερα το απόγευμα δεν είχε καθόλου πίεση στο νερό με αποτέλεσμα να μην μπορεις να κανεις μπάνιο. Μια μερα δεν είχε καθόλου νερο το πρωί, δεν έτρεχε δηλαδή καθόλου νερο από την βρύση. Το wifi δεν έπιανε ποτε internet. Το κλιματιστικό ηταν υπερβολικά παλιό. Για τα λεφτά που δώσαμε δεν αξιζε
• Els (8/5): Aangenaam verblijf met goede prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. - De rust in en rond het hotel. De vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid van het personeel (Dimitris, concierge en poetsvrouw). De tips van Dimitris. De aanwezigheid van Katholiki, een plaatselijke taverna. De vernieuwde kamer en de netheid (zeer goede poetsvrouw!). Goede airconditioning. De locatie - in de buurt van het Afandou strand wat niet overbevolkt is. Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen - auto is nodig. Groot zwembad. Parking aan het hotel. Prijs kwaliteit ok. De oudere kamer heeft harde bedden en badkamer. Doordat het hotel in heropstart is, zijn sommige delen wat verwaarloosd bv zwembadgedeelte met ligstoelen. Bij aanvang het ontbijt - werd beter maar weinig afwisseling en versheid. Prijs/kwaliteit wel in verhouding.

• ΑΝΑΣΤΑΣΙΑ (5/5): Υπομονή στις διακοπές - Η θέα στη θάλασσα μόνο και το παρκιγκ Ασανσέρ out of order,βαλίτσα 24 κιλά από τις σκάλες, πρωτο δωμάτιο βρομουσε υγρασία, μπάνιο παλιό, ήταν ιδιαίτερα ζεστό, air condition, παλιό με θόρυβο, ζήτησα αλλαγή δωματίου άμεσα. Μας έδωσαν ένα πιο ικανοποιητικό δωμάτιο ανακαινισμενο μάλλον, το διπλό κρεβάτι μεγάλο αλλά το στρώμα από πέτρα,πολύ σκληρό κάθε μέρα πόνους είχαμε στα ισχια, και στην πλάτη, η τηλεόραση δεν είχε σήμα την άλλη μέρα την έφτιαξαν, η πίεση στο νερό στο μπάνιο μηδενική κάποια φορά, κόπηκε τελείως για πάνω από τρεις ώρες μας είπαν τάχα ότι ήταν κεντρική βλάβη, ρωτήσαμε άλλους και καταλάβαμε το ψέμα, . Έκαναν διάφορες εργασίες με θόρυβο όλες τις ώρες... Υπήρχε σκύλος μόνιμος στη ρεσεψιόν αρκετές μέρες γαύγιζε σε άλλα σκυλιά Υπήρχαν άπλυτα φλιτζάνια του καφέ, και πιάτα και πιρούνι του πρωινού που τα επισήμανα, κυκλοφόρησε γάτα την ρα του πρωινού στο χώρο, τους έκανα παρατηρήσεις και ο υπεύθυνος κος Μιχάλης δεν μου μιλούσε και με ειρηνευτικές κάποιες φορές,το υπόλοιπο προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό. Καθαρίστρια μια , όλη μέρα τακτοποιουσε τα δωμάτια,πάνω από 8 ωρες εργαζόταν. Υπήρχε ζεστή στο χώρο του πρωινού το ένα κλιματιστικό δεν επαρκούσε. Πρωινο ικανοποιητικό και βαρετό! Σχέση ποιότητας τιμής κακή!!! Μείναμε 11 βράδια, δεν βρήκα κάτι άλλο αλλιώς θα έφευγα από την πρώτη μέρα.

• Béres-Antal (6/5): - A szoba olyasmi volt, amit vártunk, tiszta volt. A személyzet alapvetően segítőkész. A szigetelés semmilyen formáját nem ismerik. A személyzet nagyon hangos, az esti órákban sincsenek tekintettel a pihenni érkező turistákra (tányér csörömpölés, ajtó csapkodás, hangos zene). A kabócák minden szárnycsapását hallani. A svédasztalos reggeli felhozatala 1-2 kivétellel egész héten ugyanaz volt. A "takarítást kérek" tábla 3 napon át hiába volt kint, 11 és 17 óra között nem jött senki. Bérelt autó nélkül a szállás megközelítése szerintem esélytelen.

• SCHIOPPA (8/5): - Struttura vicino al mare. Ottimo punto di partenza per muoversi agevolmente. A mezz' ora c è sia Lindos che Rodi città. Il personale cordiale e disponibilissimo per ogni esigenza. La stanza confortevole, aria condizionata ed in frighetto con celletta freezer molto comoda. Colazione continentale ottima e con molta scelta. C è anche una piscina a disposizione per gli ospiti. Comodo parcheggio di fronte al hotel. Assolutamente consigliabile per soggiornare.

• Lagun (1/5): - Nothing Not recommended – hotel and surrounding area deeply disappointing My stay at this hotel was far from enjoyable. The property is located in a neglected and unattractive area, with the nearest reasonably priced supermarket a 40-minute walk away, which is very impractical in the intense Rhodes heat. Nearby, there is only a small kiosk selling alcohol, water, and cigarettes about 5 minutes away. As a result, the hotel and nearby businesses charge inflated prices – for example, 1L of Coca-Cola Zero cost €4, while in the supermarket it’s about €1.50. Local restaurants are also overpriced – I paid €69 for a fish dish and €12.50 for a Greek salad, prices more fitting for a high-end restaurant in a major city. Although the hotel is close to the sea, the seafront is neglected, littered with trash and abandoned materials, and the beach is rocky and uncomfortable for relaxing. The hotel itself seems not to have been renovated for 30–40 years – the photos on booking sites are misleading. Rooms contain old, damaged furniture, a small TV with only Greek channels, a noisy and barely working air conditioner, and a fridge that doesn’t close properly. Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first floor, and there was no running water in the building for several hours. At the back of the hotel, there is an abandoned, unfinished bar or entertainment area. The only positive is a clean swimming pool, but it is only open from 10 AM to 6 PM, which is strange given the hot climate. Breakfast is very basic, repetitive, and lacks quality. The owners are aware of these issues but instead of fixing them, they changed the hotel’s name from Sivila Hotel to Afandou Mare, which appears to be an attempt to escape a bad reputation. This name change also makes it difficult to find the hotel on Google Maps for independent travelers. In summary, the hotel urgently needs a full renovation, and the prices are unjustified for the standard offered.

• Niklas (3/5): Schlechte Wahl für eine Nacht - Genug Parkplätze, 5 Gehminuten zum Wasser Trotz Buchung von 3 Einzelbetten (oder 1 Einzel+Doppelbett) wollte man uns ein normales Doppelzimmer geben. Erst hieß es wir hätten zu spontan gebucht. Dann angeblich ein Fehler von Booking.com, na klar. Ameisen und Kakerlaken auf den Fluren. Aus den Duschen kommt kaum Wasser. 109€ pro Nacht passt selbst in der Hochsaison nicht zur Leistung.

Banyoda sadece sabun vardı şampuan duş jeli yoktu. sorduğumuzda standart odada bunlar yok dediler.İlk defa şampuanı olmayan otel gördük.3 kişi kaldık, 3. kişiye kampet yatak verdiler. Bu standart oda bu kadar dediler.Halbuki booking teki resimlerde normal yatak vardı.Mecburen 2 kişilik yatakta 3 kişi yattık.Klima nın havayı yönlendirici kanatları bozuktu ve klima devamlı yatarken üstümüze üfledi.Hasta olduk. Doğru düzgün duş alamadık ya çok az su geldi yada sular hiç akmadı.

• Sofia (10/5): An amazing hotel, in a great location (as long as you have a car!). So clean and tidy, helpful staff and i would stay he - Firstly I’d like to say how lovely and helpful the staff were - Dimitri even came to pick us up in his car when we got lost arriving to the hotel! The whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was nice. There was also a cold water/juice put out for us at reception which was a nice touch (due to how hot it was!). The pool was clean and not crowded. The staff recommended things for us to do and helped us hire a car for the week. Amazing hotel, would stay here again!
