Guest Reviews
- Wendy (6/5): Good value, pleasant apartment, near to facilities. View and balcony not as expected. - Good parking near Poole Quay and pubs and restaurants. No welcome pack or instructions and only one key for apartment. Contact with owner not helpful.
- Simon (9/5): - location clean well equipped parking
- Caroline (9/5): The property we stayed in was great with very good facilities. - Great location as we were wanting to visit Brownsea Island. Lots of friendly pubs and lovely places to eat.
- Anna (10/5): Fantastic stay - Amazing and modern Nothing p

- susan (10/5): Short stay safe parking convenient for quay great instructions for entry and exit - Very close to the quay. Lovely and clean. Had everything needed and a more No complaints
- Lynn (10/5): Excellent location, excellent accommodation. - Great! Spacious and comfy, clean and bright
- Patricia (9/5): -
- Julie (8/5): Ok - Nice to have milk and biscuits
It’s a good idea Heater in hall doesn’t work
- Andy (10/5): Our stay coastal cove was faultless. Instructions on accessing the property were easy and Ben was on point in contacting - Location was great and the property was spotless.
- Peet (10/5): -
- Chris (7/5): - Great location, easy parking Quite warm, perhaps a fan would be useful
- Craig (9/5): Very very enjoyable, will book again soon - Very central, very clean and spacious Nothing
- Jacqui (10/5): Great location, clean and well maintained. - Location was superb. Apartment was clean and well appointed. Easy to find. Nothing
- Maria (10/5): We had a great time! - Very easy
- Slade (10/5): - Excellent apartment and very comfortable. Easy instructions from owner and a minute from the quay. Enjoy it very much. Nothing. See
- David (5/5): Poor comms, good location, clean modern flat - Great location, good pre-arrival comms, clean rental apartment, modern shower, comfy bed. After good comms pre-arrival, went silent after arrival. No washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets, no heating on arrival and had to work it out ourselves (no thermostat on wall exists as described by host). Wanted to leave the flat clean and tidy. Eventually asked a friend for a dishwasher tablet. All rooms overlooked by other flats.
- Ann (10/5): A very comfortable and convenient place to stay while visiting the area. - A lovely apartment situated in a perfect location for boat trips and walks around Poole Harbour. The parking space provided was very much appreciated. More kitchen utensils and equipment would have been welcomed. An information pack on such things as use of appliances and recycling arrangements would have been useful.
- Jamie (9/5): Modern apartment in a fantastic location - The location is perfect (2 mins walk from the water) and the apartment is very modern. The parking space is a massive added bonus and easy to access. The key was super easy to collect as well. A few little notes that knock it down from a 10: No hand soap for the bathroom sink, no proper toilet roll holder, no obvious instructions for the heating, and quite a few cobwebs on the fake plant on the coffee table. Also, a little bit of tea and coffee would be an appreciated touch.
But I will say these are all minor and easily fixable and I would not let these discourage you from staying here!
- Liz (9/5): - Very clean and spacious. Very close to the Quay with pubs, restaurants and shops within 5 minutes. Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Very nice shower.
Plentiful parking under the block and good communication from the host re access arrangements. Just a couple of points that would put the icing on the cake and would cost next to nothing; a spare toilet roll, a spare rubbish bag, hand soap, & a kitchen scourer. The flat closely overlooks some houses but this didn’t cause a problem.
- Jason (4/5): Potential to be excellent - but too many small negatives to stay again. - So as most reviews say, the location is brilliant. The apartment is very warm. The kitchen is lovely. My wife loved the shower. Right then, lots of small negatives made it a poor stay sadly. To start with, the instructions for entry are very limited. We accessed the building using the lift - turns out there are 2 lifts! Ended up doing a tour of the entire 3rd floor looking for no.52 - they are not even numbered consecutively! e.g. 37, 43, 51, 40 etc. So inside, I didn't realise they still made double beds this small. Stayed 3 nights (Thu, Fri & Sat) - had to stay in Sat night as we were so tired from not sleeping well. Had to keep the bedroom curtains closed most of the time for privacy. Had to keep windows closed at night due to outside noise, motorbikes, youths, trollies etc. The apartment door needs a soft closer - bangs really loud if left to close on own. No instructions for TV use - we have Sky TV at home but this was totally different. No way of contacting the host once arrived.
- William (10/5): Excellent for a short stay - The location was very convenient for everything we wanted to do. Parking was under cover and spaces were always available. Access to the property was secure, lifts and corridors were clean. The flat was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our short stay. The view was not as good as we were expecting and the bed was only a standard double but was ok for a few nights.
- Jackie (8/5): Lovely location - Coastal Cove was perfectly located for our needs. The bed was comfortable if on the small side, the shower was great and there was a dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Car park was tricky to find due to no notices or signs anywhere. The bed was smaller than we are used to and there were no instructions on how to use the appliances or the TV. The apartment was also very warm at night.
- Mark (10/5): Great apartment, Great location - Excellent location, easy parking, great apartment Hand soap in the bathroom would be handy
- carol (9/5): Really lovely apartment just needs a few tweaks to be perfect would highly recommend - The apartment was great but there were a few things that would have made it 10/10 - clean, spacious, peaceful and very well equipped. Also location was perfect. Very easy access with lifts both ends of the block. Would highly recommend it was only a standard double bed even though the room would have easily accommodated a king size - we struggled, my husband is a big chap! All our side bedroom window was very close to a row of properties so very overlooked which would have been fine with a blind at the window. Bath towels need to be bigger and a toilet roll holder installed in the bathroom along with a hook for hanging a dressing gown on. The television was a completely mystery also (too old to understand it I’m afraid)!
- Andrea (7/5): Nice apartment - should have read all the reviews first though! - Great location for easy access to the harbour and all the pubs & restaurants along the quay but I wish I had read the full details of all the other reviews :(
On site free parking was a blessing, apartment is nice and clean and still very new but lacks in a couple of things which I saw in older reviews, but not been addressed. Location overlooks scruffy houses where dogs are howling day and night, Tesco Express handy for groceries, but the delivery trucks and trolleys mean it’s very noisy and every night a gang of young motorcyclists gathered just out front until quite late.
Very hot and stuffy in bedroom, could do with a fan? and the bed is the smallest double bed we have ever slept in - along with the noise of the location meant sleep was not plentiful.
Had I read all of the reviews thoroughly this stuff has been commented on several times already so my bad for not being thorough.
Nice apartment, could be made more comfortable, would have liked more than one towel for a 3 night stay, and although easy access to harbour we won’t be returning.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Perfect place for visiting Poole - Right by the quay. Plenty of places to eat and drink
- Lynn (9/5): Throughly enjoyed our stay and would return. - Lovely modern comfortable apartment . Very close to the quay and everything we needed close by. Just one small suggestion. It would have been good if there had been more information about how things worked, for example the television .
- Jane (8/5): I was barely there so it was fine. A helpful addition would be a clothes horse - It was a nice space but could be better with nicer soft furnishings and better instructions.
The property would be uncomfortably hot in the summer The location - neighbouring properties, some men chatting outside all night and another night a dog was left out and was crying
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Fab location. Beautiful apartment with great views, the pictures don't do it justice! Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Good car park and very secure. A tin opener is needed and a shelf or something in the shower to hold toiletries. Two really good TV but struggled to figure out channel selection as we don't have Sky at home!
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- _margetts (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - Good location. Modern, clean and everything you need at hand . Parking on site.
- Steph (9/5): Modern and clean in a great location. - Brilliant location for us right near the quay.
Clean, smart and comfortable. Fantastic bathroom and shower. Perhaps a little more detailed directions for the car park given the position and lack of access from some directions.
- Caroline (9/5): Lovely Setting in a Great Location - The flat was clean and modern. Very central and with free parking. There was nothing we didn't like. However, there was no socket near a mirror for hair styling. Also nowhere to put on makeup apart from leaning over the basin in the bathroom. A small shelf and small mirror in the bedroom near a socket would be good.
- Michelle (9/5): Birthday weekend - Closeness to the harbour, had all that was required, and a parking space
- Christine (10/5): Comfortable excellent location - We had a fantastic stay very comfortable spotless clean and all the comforts of home walking distance to all our needs I will definitely book again thank you Christine and Derek Local to our needs
- Travis (10/5): Exceptional - Worth every penny and more looking to return in near future !!
- Robert (10/5): A great well equipped apartment in an excellent location with the bonus of free parking! - Excellent location close to local amenities Nothing.
- Sarah (10/5): Great location - Excellent location Address could of been made clearer to get to
- Rachel (9/5): A very comfortable stay in a popular location. - Very clean, modern, well-equipped and spacious apartment. Good security. Free car parking within the complex. Quiet. Very close to the harbour and some restaurants, cafes, pubs and convenience store. Close to the town centre. Convenient base for visiting Brownsea Island and the RNLI headquarters.
- Jowafo (10/5): Lovely apartment with fantastic facilities, a great place to stay. - Loved, loved, loved this apartment. Location is perfect with everything you need within a short walk. We just wanted a bolt hole to get away for the weekend and decompress, and this flat made the perfect location. We will be back.
- Chris (7/5): Good -
- Denise (9/5): A clean modern apartment right on Poole Quay with good parking. - Location and convenience were key and it was a cosy and comfortable apartment with good facilities The bed was quite small.
- Lynne (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (10/5): Excellent accommodation and perfect location - Fabulous location right by Poole Quay
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Difficult to find when arriving by car , name of the apartments is not visible from the road as there is a barrier just before , also on the instructions it says there are three keys in the box , there was only one and nothing to say you have to use the key fob to open the entrance.
- Louise (10/5): Would recommend highly - Lovely and clean and very central King size bed would have been more comfortable also need a proper size kitchen bin and one in bedroom
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Coastal cove is a bright, delightful modern property in a quiet block of apartments within easy walking distance of Poole Quay, and Poole town centre everything on your doorstep. Parking was easy and it is close to local bus services if you don't want to use the car. Coastal cove is well equipped with everything you could possibly want and lots of extra personal touches. Ben was very helpful with checking in and out and although we had no problems during our stay, he made it clear he was available to help if needed. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property for a short or longer stay.

- Leonard (10/5): Exceptional - Pristine condition.
Large living area.
Free convenient parking.
Good location.
Refuse disposal system good.
- Rebecca (9/5): Ideal location for spending a weekend in Poole - The location and the property was spotless The view, which is the only thing that lets it down ; you overlook peoples back gardens, a multi storey car park and another apartment block.
- Lara (9/5): Modern, comfortable flat close to Poole Harbour - Brilliant location close to the seafront. The flat was modern, clean and felt spacious.
- Frances (9/5): Nice apartment located close to the Quay - Location was good. The property was clean and as described on the website. Would have helped to have some instructions about the property and how to work things (TV etc.). Also, I would liked to have received the information about how to get into the property/address etc. a little earlier and with a bit more detail.
- Lawrence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katia (6/5): A nice apartment in a worst part of Poolel! - The large one bedroom apartment was very clean and everything there was brand new. Free parking, a balcony but terrible views. I had my curtains closed the entire week I was there! The building itself was quiet but the outside was SUPER noisy from early morning to late evening. Great shower. Comfortable bed. I did not know the apartment was in the worst part of Poole. The full address was not provided until the day before my arrival. I was shocked when I eventually found the building, after haven walked around for about an hour looking for it. The place is new and is not on Google map. The pictures on the Booking listing of the views are very deceiving. Those are pictures of the building but not actually the view from the apartment. The brand new building was build in the middle of council estates and council houses. It looked like a trailer park. The building is overlooking the back yards of trashy council homes. A big dog from one of those council homes in front of the apartment, barks every day in the garden from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM. And again in the evening until 9:00 PM. Big trucks arrive every morning at 5:00 AM with deliveries for the nearby Tesco Express. The trash collectors came twice a week at 5:00 AM and make a lot of noise. Construction work started at 7:00 AM every day. The WI-FI was terrible and hardly ever worked. I had to use my personal hotspot. I was not given the code to enter the area to dump the trash. No proper trash can in the kitchen, no washing up tray, no clothes rack to dry the wet clothes. Sadly this place did not work for me and the low rating is due to the shocking area. Very surprising to see a brand new nice building build in the worst part of Poole, surrounded by run down council estates, council houses and low class people. This is the worst part of Poole and it felt like being in the ghetto. Never again!! The attached pictures are taken from the bedroom. Very depressing to wake up to this every morning!
- Katie (10/5): Fantastic stay - Very clean, excellent location, parking space and access to a balcony. Friendly and responsive host. Highchair provided as requested. Nothing really, maybe could have some more instructions on how to find the property (as it’s new our sat nav didn’t pick it up) and how to work bins etc (we found the key card but couldn’t work out how to operate the system once we were in - so couldn’t take recycling down when we were leaving) but nothing major!
- Hilary (9/5): Very comfortable - Well appointed, at Pool Harbour, Tesco express close by. Accommodation Clean and comfortable Key box could have been clearly Labelled. Among all the key boxes it took a while to work out that CC was the right key box.
- Roslyn (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay, and the two items I mentioned as small criticisms, did not detract from our stay. - The apartment was clean, and tidy, and as the apartment was new, everything was in excellent condition. It had everything we needed.
It was also perfect for access Poole quay and the waterfront. Parking spot was tight fortunately our car was small.
Internet was spasmodic at best.
- Kevin (8/5): Really enjoyed this apartment. Location is really good and parking a bonus - Very well located - close to shops and the sea front. None really but I think the kitchen could have offered a cafetière - I think a lot of people like to make a fresh coffee in a morning.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - The location, fixtures and fittings, car parking. Lack of directions to property/car park.
Kitchen missing some useful items, such as tea towel, oven gloves, measuring jug and has only two saucepans.
There are no instructions for any of the appliances, such as washing machine, dishwasher, TVs.
No instructions for what to do in case of a fire, and during our stay, the alarm did go off and lifts were out of use.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Lovley flat. Lovley and clean. Good location . Ben very helpful Directions need to be clearer
- Philip (9/5): Lovely stay - Super Clean and great location Bed was not as wide as we would like but most likely absolutely fine for most
