Guest Reviews
- Laura (4/5): Ok - Good location, nice caravan, spacious. Pleasant and helpful owner. Parking and wifi good. I had to call the owner to access. She mentioned an app that had instructions but I’d not heard of that, going through booking.com. Also, the property guide said it came with toiletries, toilet roll, a hairdryer - there was nothing like that. We had to buy own tea and coffee, washing up liquid etc. To improve this I think the guides need to be shared better through booking.com, and perhaps it’s not a good place to stay for just the 1 night.
- Sian (9/5): great last minute night away - Good location on park
Tidy Bit warn around the edges
mattresses were a bit uncomfortable
- David (4/5): WE did not enjoy our stay. - Good shower. We had to ring the owner for the key code. The key lock box could not be found, and we had to call again to find it was hidden in a bucket at the front of the property.
The decking clearly had not been swept for some time. While the van itself was clean they had not hoovered under the chairs.
Outside there were only two chairs on the veranda, one of which had no cushion, the other had one threadbare cushion.
There were no bath towels, although we were told there would be, we found two small hand towels underneath the bed.
There was a small radio but no mains lead and no batteries in it.
We found the rooms to be cramped, and the van smelt ‘musty’.The wifi was intermittent, which was frustrating as it was needed for work purposes. Not the fault of the owners of the van but the neighbours were very noisy and loud, until the early hours of the morning.
There were no instructions for any of the equipment.
All in all, this was not an enjoyable stay, we booked for three nights but left after two.
- Glynn (10/5): Great stay all round - Great stay all round
- Kerry (9/5): Perfect Get Away 👌🏻 - The caravan was very clean and well equipped very warming. The bed was abit uncomfortable

- Connor (10/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): Lovely will definitely be booking again - The area was just perfect Could do with a bin in the toilet , but other than that was perfect
- Chantelle (10/5): Great & would visit again - Very clean & cosy. Becca was amazing easy to get hold of and answered any inquiries we had. Great location lovely lake view would definitely recommend Bathroom door was a bit of struggle to open but didn’t affect our stay at all
- Jack (10/5): -
- Smith (10/5): Tattershall Lakes - The host, Becca, was easy to contact and answered any questions I had about our stay.
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and the time we were able to spend with our grandson on this holiday was priceless. Nothing, everything was better than expected as we hadn't stayed at Tattershall Lakes before. If I had to find anything negative to say it would be that the leisure activities can be quite expensive and that the pass you buy only gets you access into the merlin complex and the swimming. All other activities and the Big Top entertainment has to be paid for separately.
- Cart91 (4/5): Looks good on the pictures, but they're clearly not recent - Good location on the site No toiletries as advertised, an oven with no trays or oven glove and the oven door doesn't close properly, the freezer was dirty with a bottle cap and liquid all over the drawer. The utensils were dirty with food on them. The sofa cushions had stains on, as did the carpets. The bathroom door sticks, so my child went to the toilet and got stuck inside and was very upset. Other reviews say how clean the caravan was, which is why we booked, but it wasn't at all.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Hollie (10/5): - The accommodation great area The cost of the activities and that's the big top is very over priced for the entertainment
- Julie (10/5): -
- Sophie (9/5): Clean and comfortable, lovely shower and comfy beds would recommend -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Glynda (6/5): Pleasant - Great viewing for the jets, thats what we came for. The neighbours up till 1pm in the jacuzzi, I asked them to be quite as I had a long journey the next day. They we are enjoying ourselves. I didn't know who to phone, as they cheeky said phone security. Other than that it was great.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (10/5): A dream stay - Very comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you need for self catering. Fabulous fridge freezer, cooker and microwave. Plenty of crockery etc. Having 2 separate toilets, was a bonus. However I must mention the walk in shower, it was fabulous, I'm just sorry I couldn't bring it home with me. Property owner was quick to reply to messages, very helpful and professional. The lakes have lots to do for families and couples. I highly recommend. Nothing, loved the property, loved the site, loved the location.
- Ellie (7/5): Lovely caravan on a great park site. - Lovely caravan on a nice park. There were not any towels which would have been helpful.

- Aron (8/5): Very Clean & Great Location - Very Clean, Great Location, Great Facilities. However shame on Booking.com not notifying the Host. And therefore not being able to provide us with “Merlin Passes” for the Entertainment complex. Can also be partly due to us booking very last minute for a night away. However Host was kind and welcoming 😊
- Steven (7/5): Couldn’t get into any pubs for food needed passes but £80 for one night is a bit much - Lovely caravan wry nice location Nothing
- Edyta (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean place 😃
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Clean , comfortable, and cosy good location on the park. Parking at side. The host was responsive with good communication. Great value for money .

- Mike (10/5): A lovely stay - We had a lovely one night stay at Heaven Haven, Tattershall Lakes.
The caravan was spacious and clean.
The shower temperature was lovely and warm. The toilet and bathroom were very clean. It was ideal to have two toilets with sinks available.
We didn’t use the kitchen facilities for cooking. However, it was spotless and plenty of utensils and appliances to use.
We were able to connect our laptop to the TV screen so we could watch Netflix, which is always a bonus. We could connect to the free Tattershall Lakes WiFi, which was also convenient.
The host was very accommodating, particularly when a set of keys were left and allowed us to re-enter the property after check out to see if they were in the safe place. This was really appreciated. Thank you again.
No kitchen bin. However, a bin bag was left so we could take to remove on leaving.
Parking was very convenient, with one space next to the caravan.
A small selection of games was available and a couple of books too.
Overall, it was a great stay and ideal location with a lovely host who was easy to reach. We would stay again.
- Steve (7/5): Nice mobile Home entertainment facilities was zero - Very clean and comfortable Not being able to get into the entertainment unless we paid extra money
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- Wakelin (9/5): Superb - Perfect for our short stay
- Tanya (7/5): Good - The address was to the caravan park... which is huge! We spent over an hour looking for it and returned to the main office for help, and ended up calling booking.com to get the exact location. Overall it made a very hard day at work even worse. Just wanted to get in, showered and have a cup of tea. All fine once we were finally in and the owner was helpful.

- Lucy (10/5): Lovely caravan and great host! - The caravan was gorgeous, spacious and well equipped.
The host was great with communication before and during our stay.
Thank you ☺️
- Tracey (3/5): I have stayed in better - Tattersall Lakes park is great. The sofa was dirty and stained as was the carpet . The double bed mattress was springy and poor quality as was the bedding The glasses had chips in the top.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Colin (9/5): Superb - Great location, clean and well equipped.
- Marianne (8/5): Had a lovely time with family - The owner of our caravan was lovely she was so helpfull with everything as we have never stayed at this site before. She sorted out our passes which was a pain as there website was down so was a bit of a nightmare.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allan (5/5): Passable -
- Keeley (10/5): Me and my friends really enjoyed our stay - Very clean and nice, good location was right next to a lake which was nice. Bed was made for us.
- Forrest (4/5): Disappointing - The location was peaceful, also perfect for the RAF base which is what we wanted The toilet was left dirty from previous occupants, all the beds hadn't been changed or made. To be fair, we contacted the owner about it and the cleaners were sent round to rectify the problem
- Michelle (10/5): Great break for my family! - Clean comfortable caravan.
Good location.
Enclosed balcony. Nothing
- Claire (9/5): We only stayed for New Year’s Eve but the caravan was just what we needed. - Lovely caravan close to the lake. Well presented Nothing we didn’t like
- C (8/5): Very good -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cara (3/5): Poor - Lovely to see the wildlife in the lake opposite Caravan very tired mattress in main room springs digging into back, children's bedrooms awful. Should advertise if you don have passes you cannot pay for any activities or go into shop on site
- Magdalene (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (5/5): Only down fall for us was no welcome email, we had to call on site to be advised of address and then had to call again f - A beautiful well presented modern caravan, with patio doors onto a large decking area with gate and seating. Perfect when taking a dog.
Host supplied towels and bath mats and cleaning up items, tea towel and clothes.
We took our own as wasn’t aware but thought that was a lovely touch.
Location easy to find and a short walk on one road to the main bar/restaurants etc.
Off road parking right beside the caravan.
Just one row of caravans in front so a little view of the lake.
Quiet and peaceful location had a great nights sleep. Only thing I can suggest is extra glasses for cold drinks only 2 wine glasses and 2 cups in cupboard.
Also no kitchen bin, we used a carrier bag do not bother for us as only a short 2 night stay.
- Dragos (9/5): Great - Clean, comfy and great location.
- Newbury (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (6/5): Ok clean comfortable enough but could do with microwave dishes glasses and oven trays - The equipment only one wine glass. No oven dish.
- Allix (10/5): Amazing stay ❤️ - The caravan was so clean amazing for children. The beds was nice and comfy and the owner was very helpful for passes. Will be definitely booking again. Thankyou for being so helpful
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lyndsey (10/5): Exceptional - The caravan was large and beautiful inside with a balcony around the side and back. It is positioned near a lake so you see lots of wildlife, we had geese and ducks with babies in toe all around. the best thing for me was that you could cut through the site and walk along the river bank, which made it easier to get to RAF Coningsby. If you love jets as we do then this is a great place to experience them. There is a shop which is reasonably price that sells most things. The lady who owned this caravan is very helpful, I did ask lots of questions and she answered them all very promptly. We will definitely 😁 be booking here again. Bonus, it's dog friendly 😉. Thanks for letting us stay and extend our stay by another night . There is nothing about the caravan I didn't like, but you do need passes to access most of the place to eat on the site. These are not included in the booking, you have to purchase them separately, we went for 3 but turned into 4 night and £95 on top of the cost of the caravan was a little to much for me. There is a chippy but it is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a pub just off site, which is nice and is now dog friendly. This is ashame as I would have loved to have tried a few of them out.
- Lalita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacy (10/5): Excellent caravan and stay - Caravan was great, clean and just what was needed
Full amenities for use.
Great size closed decking area.
We will be booking again. Nothing.
