• David (9/5): Centrally located rural and quiet - Central Location was excellent. Rural. Cottage was wonderful clean and roomy. Hosts were wonderful. Only downside was a dairy farm odor on the first day. Given the rural setting in dairy land, it is probably not unusual and probably should have been expected. Dave See above

• Diane (8/5): Such a lovely place with loads of character — we had a great stay overall and the setting is just beautiful! It’s the ki - We loved the location, the peace and quiet, and the charm of the old building with all its modern quirks! The bed was sooo comfy — we had an amazing night’s sleep (apart from the fear of the spiders 😅). A few small things let it down a bit. A little welcome touch like a basket or some treats would’ve made it feel extra special — we’ve had that in other places and it really makes a difference. The sofa has definitely seen better days and could do with an update for comfort. And the biggest issue for us was the cobwebs and spiders inside — I know it’s an older house, but it did take away from the relaxed vibe we were hoping for. With just a bit more attention to detail, this place could be absolutely amazing!

• Mike (10/5): We loved the hare cottage - The cottage is amazing we where shocked at the size of it from outside. Lovely high ceilings, wooden beams just awesome. Worth every pound we spent. The cottage has everything you need for great stay. So clean as well. Bed is so comfortable. Never stayed in place like it always hotels or bed and breakfasts well never again this one we will be back soon. Hottub is a bonus so relaxing in it the gardens is great and be brill in the summer. Instructions booklets great help for hottub and there is small photo album of the cottage being built and it was great to see how it started and finished way it is now. There is one thing fridge is good size no freezer. If coming bring ice put in sink. We had our own mini ice machine did the job well. Besides that WOW WOW WIOW we loved the hare cottage.

It was gorgeous with lovely decor in a nice quiet area which created the perfect atmosphere and stay for me and my partner. The hot tub was so easy to use, and you can access netflix and youtube on the TV if you sign in to your account. The bed is so comfortable and the entire atmosphere of the place is so cosy and lovely. When i had a question i messaged the owners and they replied kindly within minutes Honestly not too sound cheesy but there was nothing i would have changed about this place - it was a lovely experience

Enjoyed a splash in the hot tub and defiantly recommend to anyone looking a relaxing break. Seen plenty of wildlife too including a squirrel, pheasant and rabbits If I had to be very picky - just took a while to heat up but we visited in February

Bed was comfy and the whole house had nearly everything you needed. Spacious for a couple. The only down side was there wasn’t a freezer so we couldn’t stick some food we had in to keep frozen and ice melted

• Helm (7/5): Incredible, hearty, warming, private and no dern yet you still have the wood, exposed beams and old machinery in the fie - The attention to detail is impeccable. We simply couldn’t get over this place.. we’re only from Newtownabbey so this was a wee stay away from the kids and dogs for a night for the husband to he’s birthday, they put up birthday banners and balloons for him for arriving also. It’s just all I want my home to be as we live in the country too lol from the wee ‘photo book’ which highlights the property at its starting point from where it was completed, these hosts know how to do it!!! Get on Four In a Bed asap lol The only one thing I could even imagine criticising this b&b would be the WiFi signal, as being county folk ourself we understand this issue, but thinking from others prospective, my 5g would upload a 30 minute YouTube video quicker than the WiFi would unfortunately… but again, apart from the WiFi not working outside the cottage, I couldn’t fault anything else <3

• Barry (10/5): A quiet and relaxing stay in a beautifully decorated cottage - Stunning location. Facilities are fantastic and the cottage is everything we hoped. The garden with the hottub and the the sun shining through the trees was the perfect backdrop to a great night away. We loved our stay!

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful property with great hosts - So so stunning, comfy and clean, probably my favourite staycation property we’ve been to so far, hosts were brilliant too and always responded quickly if we needed anything, hot tub was heated and ready to go on arrival and the Chinese takeaway a 2 minute drive away was amazing. Would love to come back soon !! Honestly could not fault the place it was perfect :)

• Tricia (10/5): Peaceful tranquil break away in a beautiful cottage. - Beautiful cottage in a nice quiet location. Cottage is massive french doors to decking and hot tub area. Very private and peaceful ideal for a relaxing break. No freezer for ice for drinks or ice cream. Hot tub opened to the elements would like to see the hot tub fitted with a covered area with a gazebo,pergola or awning of some sort so the hot tub could be more enjoyable when it's raining.

It was super clean and we had a great time. The “welcome” book has a list of takeaways that deliver. My partner and I tried to order from 3/5 places and they said they didn’t deliver to the location of the cottage. Apart from this small issue it was perfect.

• Heidi (10/5): We will definitely be back again in the summer - We loved the space of it all and all the extra details, there were board games and pots and pans ect which we liked, we also loved the bed it was very big and comfortable, the bathroom aswell was quite good Nothing to be completely honest, the only thing i will say is we found it took awhile for the cottage to heat up, the heaters were working fine it maybe just depends on you as a person lol

Had everything we needed including a wee bottle of milk to get you started. The welcome pack was incredible, especially the recommended places to eat and who delivered which was very unexpected but welcome. Very comfy bed. The whole stay exceeded our expectations and can't wait for an opportunity to visit again. Nothing.
