Guest Reviews
- Guest (10/5): - The hosts and place were excellent, but the WIFI was very slow.
- Patricia (8/5): Für tägliche Ausflügesehr gut geeignet! - Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig..
Alles sauber und ordentlich! Sehr Basic ausgestattet…
Aber ausreichend!
- Carla (7/5): -
- Paul (7/5): Would stay again, however very basic and old fashioned. - Lots of space in the property and gardens were big The internet WiFi was poor most of the time, the sitting room furniture was not comfortable and the beds were old.
- Sarah (10/5): Very enjoyable stay in lovely home in quiet location. - Quiet area. Nice village location. Nothing really. WiFi was intermittent but we managed. Owner stated it was a general problem in the area.
- Rona (9/5): Would come back and would recommend to others - Meals were not provided but cooking facilities were good Wi-Fi connection but that was out of the control of the owner
- Elaine (8/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient for lots of surrounding places to visit. - Clean and comfortable and great location for what we needed Curtains need to be darker, the front bedroom had the street light until midnight then daylight from 4am with a cream coloured blind. Maybe a blackout blind would do the trick.
- Fay (5/5): We made the best of our location but facilities weren’t up to expectations and price - Self catering
Location was excellent Could do with extractor fans in bathroom and over cooker
Beds too soft and the single bed aweful
- Joan (8/5): Very good - Being able to stay in one place with three generations of our family it was perfect sharing the very nice bungalow. We liked the quiet area and nearness of shops which created a good reason for a pleasant walk in early evening. Near to lovely places to visit, but not long enough to visit more. The beds in two bedrooms were the only complaint, one of the mattresses (the single room) was sagging.
- Colin (10/5): Business - Richard - Good parking loads of room inside bungalow All good
- Janice (9/5): Good cosy base in variable weather. - Spacious and comfortable, home from home. Very good base for birdwatching trip. Kitchen chairs a bit uncomfortable for dining.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Location. Easy to get to lots of places.
Cosy , comfortable well equipped.
- Katarzyna (9/5): Lovely house and host 5* - The house was spotless. It is in a very quiet area with good links to tourist attractions. There are a few shops and takeaways nearby. There were no issues with the property, but we arrived on a day when it was 30c. The host was kind enough to pop by and open all the windows, which made the house nice and cool. However, due to it being a bungalow, we closed all the windows at night, so a fan in each bedroom would be a blessing.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - It suited our purpose (officials at Sandringham Horse Driving trials) Parking was a bit of an issue - we didn't intend to upset nrighbour.
- Tattersall (7/5): The bungalow met all our needs and fulfilled all our requirements. Thank you. - The beautiful lounge.
Having 3 bedrooms if necessary.
The beautiful garden.
Being able to control the heating.
The car parking.
The privacy.
The comfort and equipment. Just the weather!
- Carmen (10/5): Exceptional - The property was spacious and inviting. All the amenities we needed to cater for ourselves
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (7/5): Overall The Bungalow was excellent for our 3 night weekend stay, and a reasonable price too. - Location was perfect for our requirements. Good restaurants and pubs with food nearby. Local Co Op in village.
Sandringham House, Castle Rising and Hunstanton all a very short drive. Beach at Hunstanton was excellent.
Only 30 minutes to Holkham House and Langham Glass. All excellent for our 3 night weekend break.
Heating was good and the equipment was good. A dishwasher would be great for a longer stay. My wife would have liked a mirror in a bedroom with an electrical socket nearby for hair drier.
We prefer a top sheet to separate the duvet.
Shower was a bit cramped with the curtain above the bath, a separate shower cubicle would be great, or a large shower instead of the bath.
- Robert (9/5): A Good Base For Exploring West Norfolk - An unusual building for a country cottage in a housing estate. Very comfortable & the Norfolk Coast & Sandringham very close at hand Not Applicable
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - The property was in a good central location for our needs.
It was exceptionally clean.
Shower was hot and the house was lovely and warm.
The host was extremely helpful and flexible.
Would definitely book again without hesitation. Not really a dislike more constructive feedback.
More chairs needed if 5 people are staying.
Mirror on bedroom walls would be useful.

- Karen (10/5): Very well appointed bungalow close to Sandringham - Location very convenient for Sandringham. Close to lots of good restaurants. Very quiet street. Everything was new and clean. The host had left milk, tea, coffee etc. The kitchen was well stocked although we only made breakfast. I would stay again. Nothing to dislike - except the weather!
- Dona (10/5): A lovely bungalow in a tranquil village, excellently placed with lots to see and do - The photos do not do it justice - the bungalow was clean and is in a lovely little village, so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed several trips to the vast sandy beaches about 15 minutes away, Watatunga Safari, Sandringham Estate, RSPB Snettisham for the Whirling Waders Spectacular and Norfolk Lavender. The property is in an excellent location for so many things to see and do. We were really happy with everything and would come back again. The only things I would improve to make it even better are: the wifi, hooks on the bathroom door to hang clothes, some cereal bowls for the kitchen.
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - The bungalow was spacious and spotlessly clean throughout, with everything provided. It was lovely to be able to sit in the garden in the evening. We loved staying there. The only downside was the unreliable Internet and WiFi access, which meant we could not make full use of the TV and were unable to catch up with some work emails.
- Jackie (9/5): Excellent location, good value for money - for where i was working, Houghton Hall, the location was excellent, very easy to find. the road was very quiet. There was a Spar & a Co-op nearby for groceries. light, airy & roomy I stayed in the front room, there is a streetlight outside & it is east facing, on bright mornings my eyelids are not thick enough to keep out the brightness, so darker curtains are a must.
- Gayle (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location in a beautiful village, ideally placed to explore the area. House was lovely, clean and well priced
