😊
Everything else fine 🙂
- Kenneth (8/5): Overall a comfortable stay that met all our needs. - The whole area was very clean, tidy, and well maintained. and the kitchen area was well equipped. Sleeping was very comfortable and quiet, Only minor issues that may enhance the stay and could be remedied at minimum cost.
1. Providing two folding luggage racks for suitcases. These would fit nicely at the end of the bed.
2. Fitting of a curtain to the inner door to give the feeling of privacy at night.
3. A nice gesture would be to offer the guests the opportunity to park their car on the drive.

- Richard (10/5): Perfectly practical for the purpose our stay. - The Escape was nice and clean, compact and very practical. A good location near the town centre, with the hosts being very accommodating for the duration of our stay. No complaints.
- Erina (9/5): Wonderful stay - We used the apartment as a base for visiting the beaches of North Devon and it was exactly what we expected. The bed was super comfy and everything was clean and as seen in the photos. The host Sarah was friendly and informative and I would definitely recommend this place to solo/couple travellers. The water pressure was slightly low in the shower but it was a minor that didn't take away from our stay.
- Terry (9/5): Elgar Escape - Kitchen good
Shower room good
Bed comfortable
Bed linen lovely
Decoration very nice Chairs look good but not very comfortable
I would have preferred more privacy at the window behind the bed to avoid having to close dark curtains so much.
Hairdryer available but mirror in bathroom too far from kitchen socket to see well.
- carol (8/5): - The area was very nice and the people was welcoming Just the hills alot of walking
- Redden (8/5): Very good - Nice area safe and friendly Bench seat not comfortable bed mattress very soft
- Heidi (10/5): Definitely a little home from home, perfect base, certainly worth going again. - Perfect for the two of us, small but adequate, very quiet neighbourhood, most of all our host Sarah was lovely, very approachable, friendly and made us feel most welcome. Nothing really, only there was a small sofa/seat provided to lounge on during the day, however it wasn’t suitable for the two of us and was very low to the floor, not a problem though.
- Jeff (10/5): Wonderful place would highly recommend - The property was lovely, bed was very comfy. The owners are lovely people. Lovely area. There was nothing we didn’t like
- Norma (7/5): We had a good restful stay as we had just come back from Glastonbury festival and that was very busy - It was ideal for us
easy for us to find and get about with ramp ect as my husband has a disability
clean tidy and had every thing we needed .
We couldn’t get the tv to work but we had our iPad so it wasn’t really a problem and we did log into the wi fi ok
It was strange not seeing anybody as we booked in but that’s the way things are now adays .
Thank you Nothing every thing was fine .
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): Lovely -
- Gail (8/5): Comfortable and homely. - We liked that it was very clean and cosy. Lovely and quiet and had what we needed. Would have preferred curtains on the front door to reduce light coming in.
- Stephie (10/5): l would be content to book again if ever l needed to overnight , or more. - The welcome was very kind and helpful, especially as my personal circumstance were a little awkward at that time.
A very comfortable bed gave me a very, very good nights sleep. Food was provided and tasty The location was quiet and neighbours are friendly. Many thanks. nothing to dislike.
