- Peter (9/5): Great stay -- thanks -- great hosts on site (including lovely dog!) - Fabulous location in terms of both the immediate locale and the easily drivable locations. Really nice property with bags of space and amazing views. Private / exclusive access to a quite beach (which itself is semi private in that its the far end of a public bay, but cut off at higher tide. Genuinely nothing to criticise. Couldn't easily work out the recycling options/process, but that's the least of concerns on holiday.
- Christopher (10/5): Einfach nur wunderschön und erholsam! - Das von uns gebuchte Sommerhaus liegt am Hang über dem Strand mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf Strand und Meer. Der Strand ist quasi ein Privatstrand, da er bei Flut für andere nicht mehr zugänglich ist. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und in jeder Weise hilfsbereit (aber dennoch zurückhaltend). Wir waren hoffentlich nicht das letzte Mal dort!!

- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional – A hidden gem with stunning sea views. - We had an amazing stay – it completely exceeded our expectations. The location is absolutely stunning: private, peaceful, incredible sea views and with a beautiful beach on the doorstep. The terrace is enormous and perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while admiring the views.
The rooms are spacious, bright, with large windows and fabulous views.
The games room with table tennis, table football and pool was an added bonus.
The lovely, heated indoor pool was a highlight – with towels provided.
The owners were genuinely welcoming and happy to provide local knowledge – always available but never intrusive.
Portelet Bay Café is a short walk along the beach. A little further along and up the steps brings you to the Portelet Inn, which offers excellent food and good value.
The property is an ideal base to explore the island attractions by car. We visited St Brelade’s Bay, Plemont Bay, Gorey Harbour, Devil’s Hole, St Helier, Elizabeth Castle, Corbière Lighthouse and Jersey War Tunnels.
We also loved St Aubin - just 10 minutes drive away - with its great selection of restaurants.
The property is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway by the sea, while still being conveniently close to local amenities.

If you like sea views, looking out from the patio area is truly breathtaking! The house is very spacious and has everything you need.
You can also walk directly into the beach from the property, which only takes a few minutes. We got a pizza and a beer from the Portlet Cafe which is conveniently also located on the same beach!
Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!
