• Gjenita (10/5): Amazing! would definitely come back - Everything was amazing. You can see the Kalaja of Berat from the outside and as well as some of the rooms (if you're lucky enough🤣). You can go to the kalaja by walking (6 min). There is a good restaurant next door called "Te gjyshi" it's Albanian traditional food. Not too expensive. The hotel itself was really peaceful, with a parking inside. The rooms were big enough, and you have a minibar with drinks that are not crazy expensive. Everything looks new and well mantained. It's a self check-in type of hotel so don't be surprised if you barely see the owners of the place lol. Maybe the pillows. Mine was too strong and up, had to sleep without it

L’emplacement est exceptionnel, avec une vue magnifique face au château, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le petit déjeuner servi en terrasse est un vrai moment de plaisir, avec des produits de qualité et une ambiance très paisible. Mention spéciale pour la gentillesse et l’accueil du personnel, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésiter ! RAS

More coffee and some juice for breakfast would have been appreciated. Also, if you want to venture into town you need to walk up and down a very steep hill unless you have a car of course.

Ontbijt was uitgebreid en zelfs aan de kinderen werd gedacht. En wat een lieve mensen die naar de kinderen ook zo enthousiast waren. We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad, een echte aanrader. The breakfast is great If you visit the new (lower) part of Berat, you will have to walk back uphill for 15-20 min which is pretty exhausting even at night

• Natalie (10/5): - We decided to do a quick stop over the night before in Berat and found Villa Balliu. This property was a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the castle and about 20 down to the bridge. It had parking, breakfast, and friendly people running it. Would absolutely stay here again!

• Christine (8/5): Mooi - Mooie ligging, schone kamer, goede badkamer en prima bed. Ontbijt was lekker, heerlijke koffie en geserveerd op een mooi terras met prachtig uitzicht. Airco wekte goed en dat was erg fijn bij zo’n 38 graden. Het inchecken verliep wat stroef, omdat de man die ons ontving echt alleen Albanees sprak en wij echt niet begrepen wat hij nu bedoelde. Met wat heen en weer bellen, was het opgelost, maar was voor zowel de man als voor ons toch niet zo heel comfortabel. Ligging en ontbijt op terras!

Nos hôtes nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est délicieux. La vue sur la ville fortifiée est magnifique La situation de la villa est parfaite. Un immense merci à nos hôtes. Tout était parfait.

We got lost and the staff were nice enough to come pick us up and get us to the location. The house is super close to the castle (short walk) and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast (good one, made at the moment) was served outside, and we got to enjoy the view while eating. The owner and staff were very welcoming and extremely nice. We had a great stay and definitely recommend.

• Steven (10/5): Lovely room with gorgeous views and excellent breakfast - The villa is a few minutes walk to the castle, and the view from the breakfast table is gorgeous. Easy to find, seemingly very new, spacious, great breakfast, very reasonable. We had a great nights sleep. Perfect for a visit to Berat. Nothing to dislike.

Makkelijk parkeren op terrein zelf. De badkamer was tip top. De hele kamer was proper. Er was een grote frigo om eigen drankjes in te koelen.
