• Trev (7/5): Good - This apartment has a modern feel, lots of space, clearly a lot of money has been spent to get it to generally a good standard However it split the vote, I found it perfectly fine, however wife didn't warm to it. Location was good, easy walking distance to town centre. The single zip together orthopedic bed. I found this too firm, and the headboards are not fitting or broken. Could use a freshening up with a coat of paint, (minor point)

• Chrysanthi (6/5): Cleanses is inadequate - Location was very good And host was very nice and helpful Their cleaning standards were very low. The floor was not clean enough, the bathroom walls weren’t clean, the fridge , the draws with cutlery. It was as if someone lived they and they juts moved out. When I complained about it the host was very nice and arranged for the cleaners to come again but they job they did was below average. The bed sheets need renewing. The towels as well and they didn’t smell fresh. The state of the washing machine was bad. In general the house needs a deep cleaning and a new cleaning company. It’s a shame cause it would have great potential

• Tara (10/5): Lovely modern and very comfortable accommodation, would highly recommend. - Very modern, very clean and comfortable. It is fairly quiet and has a good space for parking overnight. Beautiful big shower/wet room. There is no light bulb in the standard lamp in the front room. When we went to bed , and the son stayed up, we had to have the main light on in the lounge. But just a minor thing, it also stated there was tea and coffee available, but these were empty as well. There are no pillow cases for the pillow. It's very noisy at 12pm -1am when people are leaving the pub opposite.

Excellent communication with the host - The flat was clean and well appointed with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed that was comfortable for one person. The walk in shower was large and easy to use The flat was in walking distance to shops and a pub right opposite The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. A warning notice would be a good idea. The road right below the flat was very noisy and busy even with the windows closed Some wine glasses and a small sharp knife in the kitchen would be good. Somewhere to recycle and some hooks to hang coats in the flat would be good additions.
• Angela (8/5): Very good - The apartment was beautiful very comfortable enjoying cooking in the flat could do with more utensils I felt the cleaning side could have been better a lot of dust on skirting board I had to hoover a few times just did not feel it had nit been cleaned very well and for the money you I think I would have wanting it immaculate better
• Sally-ann (7/5): Good location. - Location. walking distance to the shops and cafes. Car park just across the road. Some basics like milk sachets would have been nice to start us off after a long flight. Has a coffee machine, so some coffee pods would have been good to go with this instead of the instant yucky coffee. And some washing powder sachets so we could use the washing machine on arrival. A few little things would make such a difference. Bathroom needs the heating fixed as quite cold in there. Heated towel rail broken. Also no plug near a mirror to use hairdryer.
• James (8/5): A great place to stay - As ever, the apartment met expectations and more. Nicely proportioned, facilities excellent and location second to none. The bedding was a little tired and needed to be upgraded. Apart from that, nothing to note
• James (9/5): The ideal place to be in Newbury - Spacious, very well equipped and ideally placed within the town centre. Tremendous value for money. No complaints whatsoever
• Ian (9/5): Excellent location and facilities. - Very modern and well presented. Great location right next to the High Street. Let down by the cleanliness, really could do with a little more attention to the cleaning. Having said that it I would certainly stay there again.

• James (9/5): A home from home. - It was excellent value for money. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Very much a home from home. The responsiveness of the staff was terrific and it was a pleasure to deal with them throughout. I cannot find fault with the accommodation, location or management company.

• Annie (1/5): Terrible experience. Avoid at all costs. - Nothing. Unfit for stay. We arrived at the property to find it unclean, the bedding unchanged and dirty. There was nobody around to help us as it is managed my a remote company. We left immediately and had to find alternative accommodation. We contacted the company but were only refunded less than half what we paid.

• Julia (9/5): Would definitely book again and in fact tried but the apartment was unavailable for my dates. - Spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Great arrangements for entry and stay. Sofa was very, very uncomfortable and did detract from our two nights in.
• Angela (8/5): Ideal break away - Modern and spacious The shower didn’t drain so all the floor and anything on the floor ended up getting wet. I had to put towels down to try and prevent the water from entering the carpeted bedroom.
• Jonathan (8/5): It’s nice enough for a short stay - Nice and clean, also a good location for being in the town centre. You could hear the neighbours every now and then arguing with a child in the background screaming. Shower was blocked which meant the water seeps out onto the carpet, a slight smell but nothing major! Just throw a towel down by the door. No aerial on the tv.
• Juan (10/5): A great stay, close to bars, supermarkets and just 3 minutes from the golf course - clean, cozy, elegant a couple too many little lights from all the electronics at night. They are pretty shiny and light up the room a bit too much (But still an amazing place to stay and would come back any time)
• Katherine (1/5): Very poor value for money - The location was convenient. The light in the stairwell did not work which was outright dangerous, we had to go up and down using lights on our phones. The communal areas were all filthy and obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. The shower did not work properly, we couldn't get it to work at all so had to phone to be told you have to push your whole body weight into to the tap to get it to turn on and off. We were told previous guests had also complained about this so it seems to have been broken for a while and they have not bothered to fix. The apartment looks nice in the photos but has been poorly fitted in reality and lack basic amenities you would expect when stating in a flat like this.

• Rosalind (8/5): Lovely market town. - Modern, clean and quiet apartment. Kitchen area is well equipped. In easy reach of many shops, cafes and a park. A visit to the lock is a must. A bath mat was needed around the shower area. We bought one and then donated it to our daughter. As the weather was unexpectedly hot a fan would have been handy.

• Paula (9/5): Great location and a lovely apartment . Just needs the water to be sorted out and a bath mat - Great location Sofa was so uncomfortable. water to hot . Needs a bath mat as the floor is slippery in the shower room . Really could do with a shower hose . As Iam short the shower head is too high up and could not rinse the shampoo all out my hair . Could not get the cold to run in the shower . There is no way you could shower a child without them getting burnt . So only had one shower in the 3 days could only have a wash
• Antony (7/5): Nice property, a few niggles, but would return if available next year - Modern and spacious, nice kitchen and bathroom. Decent sized bedroom. A few niggles in the didn’t like section, but don’t let them put you off. It’s a really nice property. Sofa bed uncomfortable. Had to buy cover for the duvet for the sofa bed. TV aerial not working - hopefully it will be fixed soon. Could watch Netflix but BBC iPlayer and ITV player couldn’t connect. Heating appeared to be on, on the hottest day of the year so far and couldn’t switch it off (think I may have broken it). Mirror in bathroom is upside down for some reason we couldn’t fathom. All issues reported. It’d be interesting to discover when / if they are fixed

• Lorraine (10/5): Enjoyed it very much - Brilliant location for shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. Had a little problem gaining access by the digital key but the host answered the phone straightaway and was very helpful. I think it should state “paid” parking in the description.
• Anonymous (8/5): Great flat, I’d be happy to stay again - Really nice apartment, light and windows that you could open. Nice layout and all mod cons There was no where to hang clothes as the wardrobe was full of duvets. No bed side tables so water and phone on the floor. And the marbled floor in the bathroom was very slippery coming out of the shower. Maybe a bath Matt would be a safer option.
