• Tam (6/5): - The room as well as the pool and seating area were very clean and looked nice. , If you're travelling solo don't bother with the breakfast, you'll be charged the same price as two people €16 and will only be given enough for one!!! it's not as nice as it's made out, and definitely isn't from outside caterers!!

• Lorena (9/5): Muy bien - La villa es Preciosa, y las habitaciones son enormes. La anfitriona es muy atenta y amable. Estaba muy limpio y se puede usar perfectamente las zonas comunes. Por la noche se ilumina. También tiene cerca el pueblo de Finestrat para poder comprar lo que sea o comer por allí. Lo único que pondría como desfavorable es que la carretera es muy cerrada y cuesta arriba.

Me gustó que atendieron un requerimiento personal de dejar una tarjeta en la habitación por el cumpleaños de mi esposo! Todo estuvo bien

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sun in the morning, also a nice area to sit in the afternoon sun. Good showers. Close to restaurants in Finestrat but doesn’t feel like it’s in the middle of a town.

• Alison (6/5): Good facilities, could use some improvements - Great location, and property is beautiful. Beds were very comfortable! Coffee maker and mini fridge in the rooms was nice. Great patios outdoors. Staff was friendly and reached out to check in on us. Dog on property barked for half the night one evening and prevented us from sleeping. You can also hear room neighbors, walls are thin. There is black mold in the shower and I am sensitive to that which was a disappointment.

• Tejonita (9/5): Perfect quiet stay - We chose the hotel based on its location - near to the water park where we had family staying and close to the mountains which we enjoy. We were the only guests at the hotel and we travelled by car. Communication with the host is done via Whatsapp and worked perfectly. We were sent a code to open the front gate box with a room key. The main building has a communal lounge, eating area and kitchen with fridge, microwave and toaster. Room was very spacious, quiet and light. Plenty of hot water in a spacious bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor and had a small outside patio with furniture. Walking to the nearby village was 10 mins and worth the trip, lovely little town with a couple of bars and nice streets. Would recommend and would book again. Each room has a coffee machine and complimentary pod but once you have used the pod, the machine is useless. I feel it would be better to have a kettle as at least then you could bring your own tea or coffee. The communal kitchen area would be better if it had a kettle.

• Delaterreta (10/5): Tranquilidad - Establecimiento muy bien situado: Finestrat tiene mucho encanto y es muy tranquilo, pero también está bien comunicado para visitar zonas más turísticas. Es muy bonito y, pese a no tener personal fijo, en todo momento nos sentimos atendidos. Las habitaciones limpias y la cama muy cómoda. Pudimos disfrutar de la piscina y de las vistas del Puig Campana. No tiene restaurante pero el pueblo (a diez minutos andando) tiene cafeterias, bares, super.....En la habitación hay una pequeña nevera y cafetera. Tambien hay zonas comunes con mesas, microondas, algo de menaje..Totalmente recomendable. La ducha, nada grave, pero se salía el agua.

Pas grand chose ; tout était très bien, propre, confortable dans une ambiance agréable. Le seul élément négatif, peut-être, la proximité d'une route...

The room is filled with warmth and light. - The villa is located just outside of town, set back from the road, making it quiet and private. There are only 4 units, so we like how small it is. There is a comfortable private (but shared) terrace outside the rooms. One flight of stairs to the accommodation. Downstairs is a facility suitable for events, and a swimming pool.

We felt very safe due to the electronic gates. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. There were no access to english speaking tv programmes .

You can get a map from Tourist Information. We were greeted when we first arrived around 8pm then the only contact you have is by WhatsApp which was responded to quickly. Be careful to read up to date reviews. The restaurant is only open for private parties and the ‘honesty bar’ was not available - no big deal a supermarket is close by. You only get one coffee capsule for the duration of your stay as a courtesy gesture on arrival. Not realising this I asked for two capsules the next day and was told they would make an exception on this occasion.

• Dawid (10/5): Hi :) - Hi, I can highly recommend this place for a vacation with great pleasure. The property is well-maintained and clean, with free parking available on the hotel grounds. The pool is also well-kept, which is a great addition. However, the most valuable aspects of this place are the peace and quiet it offers. Despite being a tranquil retreat, it's conveniently located just 15 minutes by car from the center of Benidorm and its wonderful beaches. This makes it easy to enjoy both relaxation and the vibrant attractions of the area. I sincerely recommend this place, and if I'm in the vicinity again, I will definitely stay here once more.

There was barely staff and for a hotel, the rooms weren’t prepared, not once in three nights. No glass in the bathroom and only one set of towels. The info in the room wasn’t up-to-date and there was no wifi password for the wifi in the room.

• Muhammad (10/5): Villa Morena was a lovely place to stay while exploring the dramatic and beautiful mountains in Alicante. - Quiet, serene villa of only 4 units set at the base of mountains outside the small and charming town of Finestrat. Lots of outside terrace space. An extra garbage bin in the bathroom would be a good idea.

• Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Quoted they would adapt breakfast to suit the individual guest....they did exactly that. Delicious. Delivered to our door each morning in an immaculate hamper. You then had the choice to eat it either in your room, terrace or dining area. Perfect. Nothing was too much trouble.

• Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel reopened with new owners after being closed for 2 years. The hospitality of the staff was just simply amazing. After the first night I received a message from the staff asking how my night has been and if I wanted them to clean my room that day or the next day. Which was very nice. They didn't enter the room for cleaning without my permission, which was also very nice. The hotel room was clean and very spacious and the massage shower was simply amazing. They bring your breakfast to your room, in a picknick basket, and they place it next to your door which is great for people who like to sleep in. You can eat breakfast whenever you'd like. I loved spending my time at Villa Morena and will definitely recommend it to everyone!
