Guest Reviews
- Melinda (10/5): We stayed here for two weeks had a wonderful time. It was very quiet and peaceful but just a short drive to an anything - The location was exceptional. It was right across from the beach. There was a walkway that runs alongside the beach that was great for walking, running, biking etc. Nothing
- Lee (9/5): The most amazing view, easy access. House has a lovely homely feel. Highly recommend. - Lovely house with the most amazing view! Decorated beautifully. Comfy beds. Nothing major really great stay but cutlery, plates, glasses old.
- Ellie (10/5): Lovely peaceful house on the water - It was a very nice holiday place. The house a good size for 2 adults, or a small family. It is nicely renovated, has modern amenities, but retains the character of an old Queenslander. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The sliding windows at the front provide a lovely place to sit and watch the amazing view of the water. There were no issues at all.
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional - The location was incredible. Morning sunrise right outside. Also very convenient to the boondall ice skating rink. Wasn’t sure how to operate the coffee machine😊
- Ros (8/5): Great location. Wonderful views. - The location was wonderful. Great view and access to the beach.
Loved amenities like washing machine and line to hang clothes.
Loved the stain glass windows. The house still had things in the bin and cupboard in the bathroom. The pillows were really high and were not so comfortable. The power points in the kitchen were coming away from the wall.
The fans and lights were challenging.
I did message the property about a hairdryer and didn’t hear back.
- Tanya (8/5): Really lovely little place in an amazing location straight across from the water. - Really cute little place in an amazing location. Sofa was cute but uncomfortable
- Smith (10/5): We enjoyed the calm and close proximity to walks on the coast - The location and layout coupled with the proximity to local facilities Nothing - it as a great
- Choc (8/5): - Location
- Melissa (3/5): Too small for 4 people, needs a good clean - Beachfront location Dirty, no heating, lack of space, no storage area, no dining table
- Paula (9/5): - Cute, cosy little queenslander right on the water front.
Nice and tidy, bed was comfy.
- Done (10/5): Great Brisbane stay! - We loved this beautiful cottage by the bay. I feel the property was much nicer than the fotos on booking.com. The sunrise in the mornings over the bay was spectacular, and it was really special sitting in the big armchair drinking my tea and soaking up the views. The kitchen and bathroom was recently renovated with every modern convenience. We appreciated the washer dryer with the kids. There is a lovely bakery right next to the supermarket about 5 min walk behind the property. Would have been nice to stay a bit longer. Next time we will stay a week!
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Outlook The weather...not the house's fault!
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -

- Dylan (10/5): Brilliant, lovely location, lovely home, and lovely people to deal with, with great communication and speedy replys with - Up to date modern, but keeping its older style home. Felt like home away from home The fact I don’t own it lol

barking dogs next door.
noisy possum in roof.

Would stay here again!
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is beautiful. We had everything we needed. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
- Tanya (8/5): I would visit again. I think it would be a great location for a short holiday. My dog would love it. - The location was excellent. Very quiet, excellent views. I like the dead end street. It is a Queenslander and a little cold. I would have liked a rug on the floor in the lounge room to keep us a little warmer. The wooden floors are very cold.
- Anton (10/5): like that much -
- Brad (10/5): Amazing! Everything was exactly as we needed - It was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom doesn’t have any window coverings.
- Brad (10/5): Just as described and shown in photos 👌🏼 - Everything! We ended up extending our stay as we loved it so much.
Close to shops. The esplanade is not only an amazing view but great for some exercise. There’s a great coffee shop close by (Blume) - walking distance. There’s a couple of great restaurants for take away within a few minutes drive (Thai and pizza we can highly recommend). The place was clean and presented really well.
And Jane the host was just so easy to communicate with, very responsive and accomodating for our stay. Can not recommend highly enough.
