Mauvaise insonorisation, on entendait beaucoup les voisins et la porte d’entrée du bas qui claque.

• Victoria (8/5): - Perfectly located right on a beautiful beach and near many restaurants and shops. The windows in the living room open right up, which we absolutely loved. A good central base to stay if going around Costa Brava. The host was great - quick and easy to communicate with. No parking with the accommodation, but we were able to find street parking nearby each time. Unfortunately, the main bedroom needs some work. Chipped paint and lamps, uncomfortable bed and very thin pillows, no headboard. Thankfully the view made up for the bad nights sleep.

• Géraldine (7/5): - La vue incroyable sur la mer, et le service de conciergerie très réactif et serviable pour effectuer dans la journée des réparations dans l’appartement. Les finitions de l’appartement sont de très mauvaise qualité. Les deux éviers étaient bouchés quand nous sommes arrivés, le joint de la douche tombait, la poignée de la fenêtre coulissante était bancale, la cuisine était très peu équipée.

• Paola (9/5): Beautiful views and perfect location. But needs a general upgrade to justify the price. - Great location, the apartment was beach front and had a beautiful view. It was nicely decorated and with all the basics you could need. Our favourite part was definitely enjoying the proximity to the beach and the views. The self check in was smooth and MOMO helped us organising private parking which was very helpful as it is challenging to find parking in the area. The furniture needs an upgrade. The beds were cheap IKEA beds, low standard for a property that charges top dollar. Expected more. Also the tv was too small and not working properly. The screen was tilting for the entire time. Not sure if it was a connection issue or a bit old and on its way out. I’d think it was the second. Also the dining chairs need to be checked. My daughter got scratched with a nail that was sticking out. The kitchen was ok and in working order. Though again needs a revamp and new pots upgrade and an oven tray. The oven was new and working well but there was no tray to use it.

• Kathrina (9/5): Excellent location and stylish layout - The location was amazing, right on the beach and the Camí de Ronda. The decor and style was modern and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfy. The bathroom was a little cramped (even for one) with some minor plumbing leaks. The kitchen sink did not have a plug or washing up bowl which was a little inconvenient for an apartment without a dishwasher.

• Lisa (8/5): Fabulous views and beachfront location - The view was incredible. Location excellent close to Llafranc and within minutes walk of lots of bars restaurants and supermarkets in Calella. Door from apartment onto beach below. Beach towels, chairs and umbrella supplied. There was no balcony as advertised. It was a sliding door in apartment. Bedrooms and bathroom are very small. Would be best suited for a couple. Could benefit from better maintenance. Lots of lights not working and reported kitchen tap being very loose and no plug for sink making dish washing very difficult but no one came to fix it.

The town is lovely with lots of restaurant choices and this apartment is close to everything. Great snorkeling on the beach right in front of the apartment We stayed in Roca but I would imagine all the apartments have the same acoustics (noise through apartments in the morning)- bring ear plugs and you will be fine. Eye mask for sleeping on the mezzanine but all worth it for the WOW views.

Off the street nice secure and clean! - Its location as it was so close to the beach and had a great feel about it! Good space and modern A couple of frustrating things like the kitchen sink had no plug and the bathroom shower fan vent was not working! A lightbulb not working in the main bedroom!
• Freya (10/5): Incredible! - The location is absolutely unbeatable, the best beach for snorkelling and relaxing. The air con worked brilliantly and the balcony was a great size. The only thing we missed was an oven, otherwise very well stocked and the hosts kindly left us beach towels which was much appreciated. Parking on street was no problem for us, just had to walk about 5 mins from the apartment. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, spectacular! Only thing we missed was an oven, there was just enough cutlery/crockery for 2 people but think if there were 4 of you, there would only be one of everything each so would have to frequently wash.

The location was a couple of minutes walk to where most of the restaurants were, but was still nice & quiet at night. We had good communication before and during our trip, with quick responses. The apartment had all the facilities needed, and was comfortable. We’d love to go back!
• Mandy (8/5): Very good - The location was excellent!!!!!!! We grabbed the beach chairs everyday and sat on the beach right in front of the appartment. The village also has plenty to offer - shops, food, drinks and little supermarket. Also very short drive to other nice beaches. The apartment is a bit outdated and with a little bit of effort, they could turn this into a lovely place.

It was great to see directly from the window. Kitchen and living room facilities wew adequate. The beds were clean. It was nice that the general needs of the house such as olive oil, napkins, salt were thought of. Nice decoration also. The bathroom never dries out due to ventilation problems and always wet. The bathroom and sink needs a renovation due to constant humidity. An extra bedroom is created in the upstairs but it is very difficult to get up and down. General cleanliness was okay.

She answers all my questions prior to my stay which made life so easy when I got there. The location of the apartment and the view are exceptional, I could have happily stayed in the apartment but the area is lovely and great to explore. One of the favourite locations I’ve visited, couldn’t be happier with my stay! The only thing was a few more cleaning items like a scouter and tea towel for items that don’t go in the dishwasher.

Some of the wording read like we had to go there first and then click on another link to find the actual location. This made us very confused. Getting codes a day before is also not ideal especially if you are travelling. Not everyone has access to the internet 24/7. See above response.

Its beautifully and tastefully designed, full of character and charm We loved all of it. If we could recommend some things…..the house could really do with proper blinds on the double and bunk rooms upstairs, and a little more storage space. The bedroom downstairs we didn’t use, but it has no privacy, so only really good for kids. It would make a huge difference if the downstairs had a shower in the room with the washing machine, or instead of the bath in the master bedroom (which is lovely…but very not practical), a shower instead. A little food recycling bin would also be good. Also…possibly some small comfortable chairs for inside on a rainy day would be great 😊

I can’t believe the price I paid per night for this apartment, very disappointed. The location and view are incredible but the property is in need of some TLC and with a few updates it could definitely be 5 star. We booked accommodation with a balcony, if you can’t sit out on it I find it misleading to call it a balcony. Check-in at 5 is simply too late, standard would be 3pm. The towels need replacing. Apartment needs painting and updating in the bathroom. Some plates are chipped and need replacing. Fridge cracked, the beds are so uncomfortable but a mattress topper would solve that. One bed side light needs a new bulb. Master bedroom wardrobe missing a handle, hubby cut himself on the screw. Sink is cracked. Aircon is leaking in master bedroom, wall is stained. No aircon in 2nd bedroom. Just a sheet as a blanket at night. At the price per night I’d expect 5 star perfection and this property is not delivering.

• Paula (8/5): Fabulous apartment with amazing views and direct access to beach. Great location - We stayed in the 2 bed with a balcony and Seaview for 2 weeks. Top floor. Easy flight of stairs from main entrance. This is an amazing location with super views, right on the beach. There is an internal staircase that takes you down to the beach which is fantastic and you get your steps in!. The other main entrance is from the road. Free parking about 500 metres away. We had beach chairs and an umbrella, also a massive plus. The apartment is quite small for 4, especially the 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. The lower bunk is on the ground. No air con in 2nd bed, but that didn't bother our teenagers. The shower room is tiny! ( and the door knocks into the loo!) It is the only room with a reasonable mirror as no mirrors in bedrooms and no full length mirror at all. No drawers or table in bedrooms. So a few little improvements would make the apartment even more amazing and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, all open plan to living/ dining with HUGE glass doors to balcony - suitable for eating out with shade. Very nice area of the village with easy access and not as crowded as the main centre of village. Easy access instructions and self check in/ out. Overall, we loved it here, and the couple of things I mentioned would definitely not put us off coming back next year! Not much as there isnt anythjng you can do about the size and tiny shower room. The apartment would definitely benefit from a full length mirror in main bedroom and a little table so you can comfortably get yourself ready - as the only other decent mirror is the bathroom mirror ( with the only loo) This small improvement wouldn't cost much and would add more comfort.

The location right on the beach was absolutely incredible. The owners so helpful and charming too. Only small improvement would be some beach towels but everything else absolutely exceptional - our favourite place we stayed at.

Easy to find directions and entry. Wifi signal too weak to stream. We didn't spend much time there anyway, so it wasn't a major deal. Close street parking was sometimes a challenge.

There was a lack of bath towels, toilet rolls and kitchen amenities considering there were 8 guests for 5 nights. Although the home is by the beach no beach towels were provided.

• Georgina (10/5): A brilliant short stay in an amazing location with an apartment to match. - Amazing location…could have sat all day on that balcony with the view! Modern apartment, very clean and well equipped. Beds really comfortable and good quality bed linen. Washing machine a bonus. Good to have a few essentials in kitchen…dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, salt and pepper. Manager excellent - communication via email and then WhatsApp…lots of useful info given about area and replied to messages very quickly when we had a query. Couple of minutes walk to beach. Check in easy with key-safe and able to check in slightly early which we really appreciated. Our apartment was really great, on two floors with a spiral staircase up to bedrooms….staircase quite steep and narrow, we got used to it but wouldn’t recommend if any mobility issues or young family.

We wished we could stay longer.Great layout and very comfortable, you can just sit on the couch and look out at the ocean. The beach access through the lower floor was really nice to have. There was even a beach umbrella for us to use. It was also very quiet, and nicely decorated, simple and tasteful. It also felt very safe. The bathroom was pretty tight but really wasn't an issue.

Supermarket 5 minutes’ walk away. Beautiful little town with great coastal walks in both directions. WiFi was sporadic. People next door can see into the apartment from their balcony. Some instructions on how to work the cooker would have been helpful. Parking ok as charges stopped on 16 September but could be a problem to park in high season.
• Ciaran (7/5): Great location, basic facilities - Location was great - super view of the bay and we choose the balcony apartment so could sit out looking over the bay which was stunning. Kitchen was well stocked with sharp knives which is always a surprise in a self catering apartment. Great to have a staircase directly to the beach too and next door to a great restaurant. Parking in Calella is always a challenge so it was a treat to have free parking a short walk around the corner past the Torre hotel. Beds were basic, and the bathroom was small and pokey when there's a family with 2 kids trying to do anything. And worst was the double payment debacle. Responsiveness of the host was great only when it suited them. I was double charged for the accommodation by Booking and it took 2 weeks and 5 emails + phone calls for the host and Booking to communicate to resolve it - pretty frustrating start to a holiday - be warned when asked to pay by the host that Booking aren't going to double charge you.

• Hadar (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect. The bedroom, kitchen and shower are comfortable. There is a washing machine which is great. The balcony overlooks a spectacular view. The air conditioner did not work but the apartment owners responded quickly and fixed the problem The apartment is not maintained enough. For such a high price I would expect perfect cleanliness. Also, there is not enough basic equipment in the kitchen (kitchen towels, dish soap, etc.) in the end the landlords brought but late. Also beach towels could have been good. It is obvious that by thinking about a few more small details, the stay could be no less than perfect.
