Matthew (10/5): A quiet modern resort away from the hustle and bustle of Athens, yet still connected well - The place was modern and gorgeous. The kitchen was fully kitted out with everything you could need. We even had a juicer for fresh orange juice. The pool was lovely and clean as well. The apartment was a great size, and decorated very nicely, with all the modern amenities like a smart TV, AC, heating and a fan! The cleaner was very thorough and even did the dishes for us when we forgot or hadn’t time while leaving in the morning which we really appreciated. The host gave us a list of recommendations and was super helpful and informative as they faced an electricity issue which was out of their control. The location is an issue if you’ve no car. But we planned ahead and had a rental which was perfect for the stay. It’s a shame the jacuzzi and steam room require an additional charge but other than that the stay was perfect.

Absolutely loved the sunset from the rooftop floor that sadly is no longer a bar but the owned very kindly let us go up to in the evening. Shame there was a charge for the jacuzzi. Sad that the rooftop floor is no longer a bar!

Costantino (9/5): Very comfortable apartment with daily cleaning and hospitable host. - Great 2 bedroom apartment with view of ocean. We had a family wedding to attend in the area. Need a car to get there and around as most of the attractions are not close by. Stayed there are family was close by. There are many restaurants, cafes and a couple of supermarkets in town. Nothing in walking distance. Not a lot to do in Lagonissi itself although there is a Grand Resort nearby but did not really go there. Ily coffee machine needs specific pods which you need to purchase from the apartment @ E1.50 each after the 4 free pods run out. Could not find the pods in the supermarket. There is coffee percolator and Greek coffee pot. We bought coffee at the supermarket and made Greek coffee.

Zelie (6/5): Disappointing. If you are looking for a “boutique hotel” this isn’t it. - The room was beautiful. The interior design was very tasteful, with expensive furniture and top end finishes. In terms of appliances, the room came with a Nespresso style machine, an iron and a full power hair dryer. The bathroom was stunning with a big spa bath which was a big bonus. The pool area was very clean and the sunbeds were very good quality and comfy. The exterior landscaping was completed to a very high level and very private from neighbouring properties. The venue was very secure, with a secure locked front door to the property. Despite being marketed as a “boutique hotel” this venue is far from this. This property should instead be described as a luxury apartment complex. The property had no reception but instead an exterior cabin in the garden which despite attending three times to let them know that we had no hot water, no one was present and it was all locked up. We only saw the host once when they showed up to get us to sign some papers, but apart from that they were not present. The property was marketed as having two bars. The top roof bar was locked up and covered in dust with no sign of opening, and the pool bar didn’t exist either. This as very disappointing for an end of summer (September) stay where we would have enjoyed having a drink at the property whilst sunbathing or before dinner. Please also be aware that the roads surrounding the property (apart from the one road accessed from the main coastal road) are very steep and are uneven dirt tracks. We struggled to get our fiat panda up one of them and nearly got stuck so just a word of warning for other visitors.

Jennifer (10/5): Lovely getaway to see the Attika peninsula - The rooms felt like apartments with the built in kitchen, the host was wonderful and helped us book a delicious dinner at a nearby seafood place, the showers had great water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable Nothing at all
Marisa (10/5): - Check in was easy and the hotel is very secure. They provide specific instructions prior to arrival for accessing the door for the entrance and a lockbox code for the room key. The view from the room with the partial sea view/pool view room was excellent and we enjoyed the lounge beds and terrace area that was provided with our room. This is a great option for couples to spend a night or two before heading to or from the airport and do not want to venture into Athens. Very convenient and Yannis was extremely helpful! He was super accommodating and was able to assist us with a ride (for a small fee) as when we arrived taxis were on strike and we could not find any form of transportation. There are some walkable restaurants but I would stick with the local tavernas over the restaurants within the nearby resort. Restaurants are a quick 8-15 minute walk.

Anne (10/5): Luxury at a very affordable price - This is the most perfect boutique aparthotel. We loved it! It is spotlessly clean everywhere. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. Would return here in a heartbeat but you need a car! The area isn’t an easy place to get around without one. Once we realised how difficult it was to get to a shop or cafe from here it might have been nice to have a breakfast basket provided - pastries or some such.

The place is good for people who like beaches and being away from the crowded city. If I have a chance to travel again to Greece, I would select the same facility. Being away from downtown and taxi rates are high.

There is a great Taverna a walk away and many beaches and tavernas a short drive away. It’s a really easy drive to the airport from this lovely coastal location. Nothing.

We only stayed one night for our last night in Greece as it is only a 20 minute drive to the airport, but the apartment was so spacious, attractively designed and well equipped that we could have happily stayed longer. There is a lovely pool and our apartment had a spacious balcony with a great view. Highly recommend. The bed was a little soft for my taste and there is no restaurant on site, although you can order food delivery easily (the owner gave us lots of options with contact numbers). There is not much around so a car is useful.

Yara (10/5): A peaceful and spotless stay - What an amazing place. A true little oasis of peace and quiet. The pool was such a treat; super comfy beds, big towels and just the perfect spot to relax. Everything was spotless, both in the shared areas and in our own apartment. You can really tell they care about the details. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed. Spacious, modern, super clean and just really comfortable. Nothing was missing. And that balcony with sea view… perfect. Yannis was such a kind and helpful host. Always available for questions and full of great tips about the area. The location is great too. Having a rental car definitely helps if you want to explore a bit more, but there are a few nice restaurants within walking distance as well. Highly recommend! We had the best time.
Zeynep (10/5): - One of the best apartment-hotel stays we’ve ever had! AVAL has all the amenities you’d need and extremely helpful and responsive staff. The terrace and pool spaces are lovely and peaceful, the wi-fi was great, and even the room temperature stayed cool despite the hot weather outside. The manager Yannis was attentive and provided us with detailed information about nearby restaurants, markets, and places to go. and went above beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. Highly highly recommended!
Mia (10/5): Peaceful time by the pool and a great night sleep! - Clean, modern, spacious, great pool, great hosts offering us ice cream whilst we packed our bags. Drinks and mastika were a nice touch too. Quiet environment and convenient if you are a light sleeper. A bit overpriced given jaccuzi and sauna were cost adders and not included in base price. A dirt road leading to property isn't ideal but there is another back road if you have a car.

Inge (10/5): HEERLIJK! - Onwijze luxe ervaren in Aval Riviera! Bedden zijn fantastisch! Eigenaar Yannis is onwijs vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels! Als er maar iets is, kan je hem appen en dan helpt hij je. Kamer zijn enorm schoon, nieuw en mooi! Kamers zijn heerlijk koel en het zwembad is prachtig! Daarnaast is het enorm rustig. Eigenlijk niks, op misschien de locatie na. Je moet wel een stukje lopen als je naar de supermarkt of een bakkertje wil. Wel is er een optie om ontbijt te bestellen. Dit staat aangegeven op een kaart die in het huisje ligt. Dit hebben wij dus elke ochtend gedaan en lekker gegeten in de prachtige tuin!

FlowR (10/5): Parfait - L'appartement est très bien situé, proche de la mer en voiture (il fait trop chaud pour y aller à pied), le lieu est magnifique la piscine est canon, le jaccuzi est quand à lui payant pour information, le late check out est possible et très agréable de pouvoir rester au bord de la piscine. la literie était très confortable. cela manque juste d'une petite table pour manger mais il y en a une sur la terrasse. je recommande vivement. l'hote était très sympathique et nous a tout expliqué. vous etes à 30 min du cap sounion et à 25 min de l'aéroport. rien, merci pour tout

Anthony (10/5): Great great place, with a magnificently hefty entrance door. - The standards of construction, detail and design are really very very high. One hopes for rather than expects high standards, but this was exceptional. All the facilities for cooking were there, absolutely up to date, good fridge. Plus plus plus: outdoor BBQ facility, pool, sauna, hot tub (I hate hot tubs personally, but it's there if you like). Go go go! Lighting in the room should be brighter. This is an easy fix, and don't let it put you off. Higher wattage my friend!

Marie (10/5): Short but perfect stay! - Everything! Absolutely high spec and high technology. Attention to detail surpasses everything we’ve experienced so far in our travels. The friendliness of the staff (big shout out to the lovely Dora who serviced the apartments and to Yannis who owned them - 5 star plus treatment from them both). Roof top bar has views and sunsets to die for. Perfect base for a G&T to watch the sun go down. Perfect base for Athens and Corinth travels and visits. Close to attractions and to beaches. Easy to park your car and walk to restaurants near by. That we didn’t stay longer or own the property. It was our dream property.
Lisa (8/5): - Beautiful, modern, elegantly appointed property in a residential area. There is one resort close by on the beach, the Grand Lagonisi, where you can take advantage of their facilities and restaurants. The Aval Riviera boasts a lovely pool area, very nice and helpful host, professionally run. Only problem for me was the poorly-paved steep road to beach. A car is required to enjoy the area fully, to bring in food, as there are no stores or dining within easy walking distance.

Malinda Quartel Coupe (8/5): Luxury in Lagonissi - Beautifully decorated large studio room. High quality furnishings. Very comfortable bed and nice large bathroom. The pool area is lovely, as is the rooftop bar. There were extra towels to be used by the pool which were lovely and soft. There was information where the nearby restaurants are as well as how to get delivery. All in all a great little retreat if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Athens. We only stayed one night so didn't get to spend a lot of time here. There are quite a lot of gadget-lights (airco, alarm, ovenclock etc) that light up the room at night. If you are light sensitive, this could be an issue. The couch is quite short, so watching telly is not the most comfortable, as you are not able to watch telly from the bed. Getting to the pool from our studio was a walk on pebbles which can't be traversed without shoes. There was a path made by white slabs a bit further on leading from the pool to a WC, which would fit in perfectly to lead people from the studio verandas to the pool. Just a suggestion 😉

CHR_NF (10/5): Ένα χαλαρό, άνετο, ξεκούραστο και ''βασιλικό'' βάσει διακόσμησης, design, παροχών τριήμερο. - Τι να πρωτοπεί κανείς; Όλα ήταν υπέροχα! Υπήρχε ησυχία και ηρεμία παντού. Τα πάντα ήταν πεντακάθαρα σε όλους μα όλους τους χώρους. Υπήρχε άνεση. Πολλά κι ήσυχα μέρη στο κατάλυμα, να καθίσεις, να διαβάσεις ένα βιβλίο, να πιείς τον καφέ σου, ή και να δουλέψεις στο laptop σου. Άνεση στους χώρους, άπλα και παντού πρίζες να φορτίσεις τις συσκευές σου χωρίς να χρειαστεί να επισκεφθείς το δωμάτιό σου. Το δωμάτιο HARMONY 30τμ, ήταν ευρύχωρο, με παροχές που ξεπερνούσαν ένα απλό δωμάτιο. Εξαιρετικά διακοσμημένο και με ένα υπέροχο κρεββάτι, άνετο και ψηλό. Ο οικοδεσπότης εξαιρετικός, επεξηγηματικός, βοηθητικός και με υπέροχο χιούμορ, γνώστης του αντικειμένου του και άψογος! Εννοείται πως το το Aval Riviera έχει προστεθεί στους αγαπημένους προορισμούς από την πρώτη κιόλας ημέρα.
Celine (8/5): Comfortable stay - Host met me at the door despite late arrival (past midnight) Property is spotless Pool was comfortable and well kept Rooftop is also nice esp. in the evening when less hot. "Gym" is convenient but mostly outdoor area with some equipment. There is nothing walking distance in the area so you need a car - the closest shops are about 15 min away by foot Beware of sat nav as the closest "street" is extremely steep and you can't really drive up it by car.
Dave (10/5): Beautiful place - This is a beautiful place. The rooms are very high spec - every detail has been considered. The owner is very friendly and engaging. Went out of their way to welcome us, allowing us to store our motorcycles inside the garage and offering local advice. Pool area is lovely.
Stephanie (10/5): - To start The grounds and entrance are immaculately well kept. The rooms are very nice, modern and stocked with everything you need, down to a fresh juicer and clothes pins. Beautiful shower. The pool area is wonderful. Fresh water pool, maybe 9-10 ft deep on one end. Entrance stairs on the other side. The compound ( building) is incredibly well built. Surrounded by vegetation, lights and calmness. I must thank the cleaning staff, as they were so very kind and on point. Very hard working group. We loved everything about our stay.

Chaido (10/5): - Τι να πω. Όλα ήταν τέλεια!!!! Πρόκειται για χώρο υψηλής αισθητικής, ΠΕΝΤΑΚΑΘΑΡΟ και προσεγμένο στην παραμικρή του λεπτομέρεια. Με φόβο να το ανακαλύψουν κι άλλοι, που σημαίνει ότι θα βρίσκουμε δύσκολα διαθεσιμότητα, δεν μπορώ παρά να το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα! Δεν υπήρχε τίποτα αρνητικό.
