• Guest (6/5): Disappointing. - 4 codes to use before getting into room. Heavy doors alongside having to put in codes, not great when also got bags etc.. Superficially clean. Dirty, sticky kitchen floor and fridge. Poor lighting at entrance which made me uncomfortable returning at night after the theatre. Dark and overgrown passage way to access front of property. Loose toilet seat. Unnecessary fake sheepskin throws on dining room chairs which I thought was unhygienic. Stale smell.

• Martin (10/5): Perfect stay - Fabulous place for a short trip to Stratford, exactly as described by previous reviewers; well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Gallons of hot water for soaking in the bath after a day of exploring. The Hideaway was easy to find, we loved the secure carpark and being just minutes walk away from exploring such a beautiful place. We also appreciated quick communication from the owner and will most definitely return on future visits. Nothing! Though perhaps a lamp near the sofas would have been better for reading than the main ceiling light.

• Philip (8/5): - Location: a stone's throw from the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon and all its attractions. Comfy sofas after a day on our feet. Two flights of stairs. It’s a struggle with anything other than a small case.

Las camas son cómodas, la cocina, el salón y el baño están muy bien. Está a pocos minutos andando de todas las atracciones de Stratford y justo detrás de la casa natal de Shakespeare (que sólo recomiendo visitar pagando las 25 libras que cuesta si eres un amante del escritor, si no un tour andando por la ciudad y visitando el exterior es perfecto). El apartamento está justo en una carretera con tráfico a todas horas, incluida toda la noche. Por desgracia, el día que estuvimos hizo mucho calor, tuvimos que dormir con las ventanas abiertas y el ruido no paró en ningún momento.
• Ben (10/5): An excellent stay - The flat is beautiful with well sized rooms. We were so impressed with the quality of the furnishings too, very solid and well made. The location is excellent, overlooking the back of The Shakespeare Centre and Shakespeare's original home. The main street is a 2 minute walk away. Having secure parking was brilliant. We had planned one night in Stratford, but within 2 minutes of arriving at the flat, we immediately looked to see if it was available for the following night, but it was already fully booked. Nothing.
• Shiyu (9/5): A well-functioning flat in central location. - Excellent location, can see the Shakespeare's Birthplace from the flat. Walking distance to most must-sees. The flat has pretty much everything you need for overnight stay, Dominic was swift in replying and did us a favour. We would recommend. Nothing that can be improved, just our flat is on the 2nd floor, can't find the lift, climbing stairs are not ideal for my parents, so something to bear in mind when you book.

If you're looking for a lovely place to stay, a short walk from the centre with all its restaurants and the theatre and is secure with great parking, then look no further... I highly recommend this fantastic hideaway.

There were a couple of flights of stairs to get to the apartment. It didn't bother us, but might be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

• Langton (8/5): Very good - The apartment is comfortable near to everything we needed, didn't use the kitchen because we only stayed for one night. I recommend that the upstairs apartments are not suitable for people with mobility problems or managing stairs, especially if they need assistance with luggage, I really struggled with being on the second floor. The shower is over the bath, and the bath is deep, I would suggest maybe a grab rail installing to assist people for getting in and out of the bath for a shower .

Enclosed parking a big plus if i was being picky, the building entrance door lock is a bit fiddly, not a dislike but there are two fairly steep flights of stairs up to the flat itself
• Catherine (9/5): Location could not be bettered. - The location could not have been better - view of Shakespeare’s garden from the apartment! Literally a walk around the corner to the Main Street of Stratford. Parking was really easy and the instructions to get in were very clear. The only tiny negative (and I mean really tiny) was the kitchen tap drips constantly but other than that, everything was perfect. Clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do and see, including the RSC Theatre, riverside walks, markets, shops and cafes. Dominic's communication was helpful and he let us drop off our bags early when we arrived.

The only down side would be that it is on the third floor and there is no lift and the timed lights on the stairs time out too quickly. This wasn't a problem for us but could be for some.

The Appartment was warm and comfortable. We all commented that the beds were great and the bedding was fresh and clean. Sofas and living room were modern and plush. The kitchen had everything you needed too. The facilities were very, very good. WiFi was great too. Can't fault it on anything and are planning to go back at the first opportunity. Just brilliant. The accomodation was extremely comfortable and the chocolate biscuits and tea facilities were a most welcome touch. We are hoping to visit Stratford again in the future and would certainly stay here again. We were a family of 4 and having the two bedrooms (with a comfortable pullout bed) was perfect.

• Jo (8/5): Convenient location, good price with car park. - Convenient location. Having use of whole space. Car psrking. When we arrived there was an unpleasant smell in the kitchen. I let the owner know and he responded quickly. Although the smell was still there when we got back in. I think it was from the sink. If you open the window then it’s very noisy from the traffic. They do provide fans.
• W (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, stylish decor, top service, lots of thoughtful touches e.g milk tea coffee supplied, t towels, good quality bed linen, comfortable sofas and beds. Fab bathroom - and luxurious soap etc, . Top place to stay, luxurious and restful, really pleased I chose it. Oh ...... and good wifi and tv with Disney, Netflix, Spotify great for us 2 adults with a teen.8 Nothing. It is 2 flights of stairs but no problem for us. Old building and on a busy road. We chose to have windows open, but there are fans/cooling towers in all the rooms if you wanted to use instead of open windows. But a bit of road noise worth it for convenience ,- most things 5-10 mins walk away. Kitchen area is v small so you couldn't make an elaborate meal, bring own saucepans if want to do cooking for 4, but more than enough for us 3.

Beautiful modern furnishings, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Very friendly, welcoming and informative host. Private off-street parking very useful. Exceedingly good value. Kitchenette a little cramped and quite basic. Second bedroom could only just fit two beds in it, so had to climb across one bed to reach the other or the window. But must emphasise these are only very minor comments on an otherwise really enjoyable stay in a great property.

• Susan (10/5): Brilliant, we had a great time, Stratford is beautiful - The accommodation was just perfect for our group of four ladies who went together to do a Mystery Guide of Stratford. From the contact with the owner prior to our visit to arrange an earlier check in and parking to leaving the place as we found it we rated it top notch. Secure parking was a big bonus too. It is in a great location with easy access to Stratford centre which has lots of lovely shops, cafes, open spaces, pubs and restaurants. We had an amazing time, blessed with fabulous weather and wouldn’t hesitate to use this accommodation again if we were to return, which we would love to as there is so much to see and do. Our trip was too short to be able to fit everything in. Honestly can’t think of anything negative to say about the accommodation, contact with the owner or the location …….absolutely fabulous.

The apartment was clean and provided everything we needed. It's location was quiet and an easy walk to restaurants, sight seeing activities. It was very safe and I would highly recommend it. The air conditioning was adequate.
