- Albert (10/5): - The location, style and design of the interior, the communication and ease of booking in/vacating if the property Slight dust on top of kitchen units. Unclean front door and yard area.
- Joanna (9/5): Good - The downstairs was nice and had everything needed The bed was really low , its fine for most guest but i have arthritis in both knees and it was difficult for me to use also the bathroom being downstairs was difficult .
- Brian (8/5): -
- Helen (9/5): Cosy, homely and a very pleasant stay - This was a lovely cosy place which was immaculately clean and just felt really homely The bathroom being downstairs was a slight disadvantage but this a really minor thing as everything else was perfect
- Ruth (6/5): Good - Close to the coast. Very Clean. Outside the property door etc and pavement area was not very well kept, didn’t have a welcoming sense. However inside was warm and ok. Beds not particularly comfortable.
- chris (10/5): nice and relaxing - very comfortable, conveniently placed cosy little property needs new barrel in frknt door lock as very stiff
- Lauren (10/5): We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, will be returning - The property was perfect in every way
- Gil (8/5): -
- Janette (8/5): - Location, house was very modern ,had everything we needed. The shower and toliet was down stairs. The garden would need a Tidy .
- Kasia (9/5): -
- Adam (8/5): -
- graeme (8/5): - It was compact, clean with all facilities and good location for the town and station to travel into Belfast. On bus routes too. Parking outside front door. Description, it’s not a stunning coastal retreat . It’s a quality terrace two up two down.
- tamzin (9/5): Perfect base for a getaway in Carrickfergus/Northern Ireland - It's central, had everything me and my 4 year old needed for a 2 night stay. The back patio could have been done with a spruce up, weeds and cigarette tabbies lying around.
- Fanos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liz (10/5): Lovely home for a quiet getaway - Lovely two-bedroom house that was the perfect size for me, my husband and teenage daughter. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was a cold weekend and the heat was nice and it didn't take long for the house to warm up. The bathroom was small but has a nice shower and also very clean.
It was also very easy to check in. And in a nice quiet neighbourhood, despite it facing a main road.
The location was perfect, just down the street from Sainsbury and other shops and restaurants. It was also a few blocks away from the castle and a three minute walk to the train station. Liked everything, especially the location.
- Ross (10/5): A gem of a place in Carrickfergus! - I really don't want to write a positive review, because then other people might book this fabulous wee place and I won't be able to book it again! Honestly, this is a wee gem of a place in the centre of Carrickfergus and having been modernised inside is exactly what anyone needs as a base to stay if you are up the Antrim coast or on into Belfast. As a Carrickfergus boy, returning home for a break, I was delighted with the location and Zoe was at the end of a message when I raised a quick question. Honestly, my wife, son and I loved being home from home. 🌳 If Zoe will have us, we'll be back!
- Kristofer (8/5): Peaceful quiet would definitely go again - It was a good location.. wasn’t sure on first inspection by the outside but yeah inside is absolutely gorgeous.. Mmm nothing really tbh was nice all round
- Kieran (8/5): Very good - It was central and clean
- Robert (9/5): Two nights stay - Location was good for visiting both family in larne and also close to belfast. Parking right at the door.
Well equipped kitchen and although I hadn't realised the shower room/toilet was in fact in the kitchen it wasn't a problem.
Zoe was very helpful and all information was spot on. It is on quite a busy road and therefore decided to use the smaller back bedroom which was no problem as there was only the two of us.
Found the positioning of the TV in the main area to be quite awkward to watch but understand that the layout kinda dictates that ( perhaps TV could be positioned slightly lower on the wall for comfort?)
- Steven (4/5): Disappointing - location host was rude, took ages to get back to us, there was no gas, tried to ring an her fone was of, we had to walk 20 mins to buy some so topped up gas 20.00 an she told us to top it up to 49.00,but we wernt going to walk to shop again, we went to relax an do her job. i misplaced my key as it had fallen down the lining of my coat, i rang her an her reply was " you need to find other accomodation for tonight" when i said we paid 204.00 for 2 nights she hung the phone up on me, i had to pay 31.80 to get bk home that night, even taxi driver said that was uncalled for, when i mailed her on wattapp to get refund, she read it an didnt reply, but a fella i dont no if hes from booking.com got on to her an he got us refund straight away,he also came with spare key but i was already on way home, least he was decent. its also very noisy as its on main road, an there is like a sewage smell in kitchen part, the sofa is uncomfortable, kitchens modern but very small
- Julie-ann (10/5): Morning walks, local coffee shops and that Castle. 😁 - Local close to everything Street parking at times was difficult
- Steven (9/5): Would definitely stay again. - Location Would have been nice if someone could have contacted me and informed me that there was an issue with the security deposit and it hadn’t been taken.
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (9/5): It had everything we needed for our stay - Had everything we needed N/a
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Nancy (8/5): Very good - The house was clean. However, the toilet is downstairs, beside the kitchen. Not convenient at all. It was super cold
- Steve (9/5): Very nice comfortable house - Clean and modern, well laid out and comfortable. Conveniently situated for shopping and railway station. On main road
- William (10/5): Carrickfergus , beautiful place will be back next year - Was perfect location , shops within walking distance Nothing
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Liz (8/5): Very good -
- White (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Simply the best - The location was great,
Close to all attractions
Very comfortable relaxing stay
And yes I would return Could not fine any faults
It met all our requirements
- Chef63 (10/5): Exceptional - Great little place....great location....easy parking....close to amenities .... Nothing
- Chris (8/5): A great location right in Carrickfergus, very good value accommodation for a family. - We loved the way the property was decorated and set up. It was fresh, clean and tidy and looked great! The location was great for us, walking distance to the castle, shops and cafes, and Tesco only 5 minutes walk. The train station to Belfast is very close and offers a short and pleasant train ride into the city area. We found the bedrooms a little small for adults- the second bedroom setup especially was difficult for two adults to manage suitcases etc. probably more suited to two younger children. The kitchen/ bathroom were very nice but the layout took a little getting used to. The size of the property overall is smaller than we are used to but I think is probably typical of terrace housing in the Belfast area.
- Morgan (9/5): Convenient and cozy house, great value - This small two bedroom one bath house was a charming place to stay in Carrickfergus. Right down the street from the train and then walkable to a couple of pubs and Carrickfergus Castle. We liked the modern kitchen and bathroom (heated towel rack was excellent) - even though space was limited in the galley kitchen, you really do have everything you need and space is used efficiently - I really liked the luggage racks and hangers in the second bedroom. It's a great base to explore the towns on the coast and you can easily take the 20 min train to Belfast. The only issue we had was not having a place to put our trash which is really due to the fact that the bin is out on the street and so used by other people. We had to kind of squash our trash in (and use the other bins on the street) as we stayed several days.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Elaine (10/5): Have a fabulous few days. - Lovely presentation, great location would definitely return . Very up to date and clean.
- Mark (10/5): Great location, geeat host, lovely decor and very clean - Location, cleanness of house and host
- Stacey (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Simon (10/5): A great time in superb accommodation - Clean tidy and modern. Close to the train station and the town centre. Main bed was a little low but that’s it.
- Neil (8/5): Very good - Perfect 2 up 2 down ... well finished and ideal location Internet didn't work for half of our stay?!
- Jessica (1/5): Good location. Horrible owners that shouldn’t have rental properties. - It was walking distance to lots of places The property owners were horrible to deal with. Had to contact booking.com to get some answers and they saw all the messages and the way we were treated and talked to and we were given compensation from booking.com and they said they were doing an internal investigation on the property owners for being so unprofessional and disrespectful.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hubert (8/5): Nice stay for a weekend away. - Good location but on a very busy road, luckliy windows being quite well sealed. Just mind that double bed bedroom faces the street and some noise comes through. Twin bedroom is quiet. Parking space just outside on the street, enough space inside. Equipped with basics. Warm place in a cold weather. Despite being generally clean, there were just a few shortfalls on cleanliness. Not anything to worry about.
- Colin (8/5): Very comfortable stay here - Kitchen to small
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olivia (8/5): As described - Central to the town and short walk to the castle, shops, seafront and good playground. Place was clean and had towels, tea, coffee etc. Easy check in and out with key box. Got parking right outside the front door. No child safety locks on the upstairs bedroom windows.
- Christos (8/5): Very good - Well decorated, clean. Rather small spaces but we knew that in advance.
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Albert (9/5): Superb - Although we had a small issue with the heating system on the second day of our stay, they took care of the situation and managed to solve the issue in just couple of hours on a Friday evening, which I am really thankful for all the effort especially for the maintenance guy who was very professional and polite. Thanks for the stay, will definitely come again.
- Colin (8/5): Very good -
- Hughes (10/5): Exceptional - The property was clean and had all the items needed, e.g. ironing board, good lighting, television and a comfortable sofa and chairs.
It was stylish and modern, having a wifi network is always very well received.
It was warm and comfortable and easily accessible to where we needed to go for the duration of our stay. The shower in the bathroom had no tray to place items such as soap and shower gels on.
- Ken (8/5): Nice place, but small. - Great for two, we enjoyed the location as it was close to all we wanted to do.
Very clean.
Good shower room, plenty of room in shower. Needs Hooks on back of bathroom door as no where to hang dressing gown.
Wouldn’t like to be more than 2 in house.
- Mark (8/5): Lovely property, excellent host, great location for exploring Antrim & visiting Belfast -
- William (9/5): All in all enjoyable - Location
- Machin (9/5): Superb - Well situated, free parking. Nothing
- Verity (9/5): Brilliant stay, excellent t value for money. - Everything you could possibly need. Brilliant location. Spotlessly clean. Couldn’t fault it. Nothing.
- Sandra (10/5): We had a lovely stay & the hosts where lovely, so helpful 😊 -
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Well equipped clean house Steep narrow stairs. No view of the coast
- Sonia (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient, comfortable. Suited our needs
- Fiona (8/5): A great spot worth visiting with a terrific place to stay. - A wonderful stay in this absolutely spotlessly clean lovely small well designed house. Location was terrific. Lovely walk to seafront. Near shops. Kitchen had everything. A home from home. Will definitely return.
- Les (10/5): Warm, homely, inviting, would definitely stay again. - The property was very homely and inviting, the facilities were great and the whole place was sparkling clean throughout. The location was great, a stone’s throw from Carrickfergus Castle and local shops and restaurants. Was able to park right outside of the property throughout the stay which was a bonus.
- Helena (8/5): Very modern clean an tidy property what you see in the pictures is what you get. -
- Michaela (9/5): lovely! - modern, clean, great facilities, great location for station, shops, etc. fabulous liaison with owner and prompt response to queries. Property on main road so lots of noise, especially in front bedroom. The property is a lot smaller than it looks in the ads. we struggled with a family of 4 (2 adults and two grown teens). ok for a weekend but not much longer.
- Nicole (10/5): pleasant , quiet and peaceful ❤️ - absolutely stunning property, very central to everything around Carrickfergus , and only a short walk to the train station. everything was very clean and the help from Zoe was outstanding, super pleased with our stay and we will be back very soon! went above and beyond to suit our needs and everything we needed the apartment had.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for us place was immaculate.
- Shawne (10/5): Safe, convenient, clean and beautiful apartment. - The location is fantastic! The apartment is gorgeous! Perfect for 2 or 3 people. Close to shops, pubs and the sea. Nothing. It was perfect.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Great place with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
