Guest Reviews
- Sasha (6/5): Clean, well maintained. Sadly disappointed, not for us so cut our stay short. - The flow of the house, the garden, the facilities. Facilities were good but too restrictive (pool etc). The property was in a nice place but very built up, not really indicated well on the advert so unexpected.
Floor plan would have been appreciated to pre-plan where each guest slept.- didn’t work well for us once we saw it.
Beds were so uncomfortable we didn’t stay the whole holiday. Mattress very thin and could feel the wooden edge of the bed. Worst sleep . Only one bed (main) was a reasonable one.
Very echoey, wonderfully decorated but not homely. Great place, but not for us.
- Angela (7/5): We had a great time. - A lovely setting. Beds and sofas comfy. The leisure centre was really appreciated by our grandsons.
Lisa (the cleaner) put herself out to help us when we locked ourselves out. We couldn’t thank her enough. No prior warning that the second en suite was on a top floor with 30 stairs to climb.
Only one set of keys.
- Allan (8/5): Flustered - The house was good but booking. Com was a pain did not say anything about having to book the facilities in advance (games room. Pool jim)if we had known we would not have booked it stanley knife blades found in swimming area not good with children no heating for last day or hot water. How hard it was to get in touch with booking .com we are still waiting for a response knife blades in the swimming area and no heating
- Stu (10/5): A must stay if you like quality - The presentation was top class and a welcome surprise. We didn't have time to enjoy the house to its full due to being out at 4.30am and back at 6pm, but it was comfortable and relaxing
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - A great house with spectacular views of the Suffolk countryside. The swimming pool was a lovely surprise and it's a short drive to Southwold.
