• Angie (9/5): The host was very attentive, the apartment is private and allows for quiet nights and good sleep. The hot water didn’t w - The location is unbeatable. The apartment is inside a property surrounded by a lovely garden with an entrance on both streets. The apartment was a little dirty, with hair on the shower hose and bugs. A full body mirror would be of great help.

• Malgorzata (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Dubrovnik - Great location, friendly host, beautiful terrace and garden to spend the time at. Close to the beach, bus stop, restaurants and shops. For me it was perfect. Not a dislike for me, but for those with mobility issues - keep in mind that there's plenty of steps to get to or get out of the place.

• Nina (10/5): Amazing stay at dreamy villa! - We had a lovely stay at Villa Miomir! Our host Ivona was very kind and helpful with everything. When we had a problem or questions she gladly helped us! The house was a DREAM with its beautiful garden with both cats and turtles. Very clean and renovated apartment. AC worked very well, never to warm. Very comfortable beds. Only 5 minute walk to the beach, bus stop and food store. Lovely view from the window as well! Will definitely return if I’m ever in Lapad again :) Maybe some hooks in the bathroom and a scissor in the kitchen, otherwise perfect! :)

• Paulina (10/5): Gościłam tam w pełni sezonu z trzema córkami. W willi jest przestronnie, temperatura jest idealna. - Zjawiskowy ogród. Znakomity wystrój wnętrz. Dyskrecja gospodarzy. Lokalizacja. Wspaniała cisza. Żółwie ;-) Szlachetne materiały, których użyto - drewno, bawełna, obrazy. Znajduje się tam wszystko, co może być turystom z dala od domu potrzebne - i w kuchni, i w łazience, i w sypialniach. Cudowna ilość lamp i okien! Może ekwipunek na plażę - mata, parasol, aby nie trzeba było ich kupować, gdy się podróżuje samolotem.

• Roxana-maria (10/5): Perfect place, small corner of paradise - Everything was nice, especially the garden that simply takes your breath away with its beauty. You are so close to the tourist's promenade and the beach, but still have a quiet place where to relax.
• Ana (10/5): Absolutely wonderful! - I really loved the experience overall. The studio was small but very cozy. Really felt at home! Ivona is an amazing host. Very kind, very friendly and always provided tips in where to go and what to see. She is also the owner of the huge garden surrounding the house, which for me is the highlight of the whole thing. From the studio you would have access to a small private patio that would led you to this beautiful garden. Always shared my strawberries with the many turtles lying around, so if you are staying there, please be very mindful where you step, so you wouldn’t cause any harm to the turtles 🙏🏼🐢 an experience I absolutely loved, and can’t recommend enough ☺️
• Jane (10/5): A bijou, tasteful, quirky, comfortable home from home. - Situated in a beautiful garden with our own private courtyard, this small but perfectly formed chalet was light, tastefully decorated and comfortable with a practical kitchen and bathroom. The host was very kind and helpful. It was only several metres away from the beach and numerous bars and cafes. Loved everything - people with mobility problems would struggle with numerous steps.
• Michael (9/5): Beautiful hillside villa just above Sunset Beach - We were met by the owner (whose home is below the apartment) who had kindly waited although our flight was late. The apartment was the entire top (2nd) floor of her villa, open plan with roof beams (mind your head), main bed behind partition and a separate twin bedroom and small bathroom (shower, basin, WC). Windows giving views in 4 directions - beach, hillside, town, beach. Small kitchenette with fridge, sink, 2 hobs, toaster and kettle (no microwave or oven) and utensils; table with window seat; sofas around TV. Entrance via 1st floor and a private door to a flight of stairs. Outdoor terrace area with table and seats. Cat. Complete peace by night - unless it rains. Sunset Beach is down the steps where restaurants, bars etc are also available. A microwave would be useful. Washbasin is in a tight spot under the roof - adults must stoop to use the mirror (but there is a fantastic view over the town whilst sat on the toilet!) A lack of hooks - nowhere to hang towels, coats.

• Jovanasara (10/5): Fairy Family Stay in a Stunning Garden Oasis - Ivona's attic apartment is more than beautiful, and we couldn't be more grateful for her warm hospitality. She was incredibly kind to our family, making our stay truly special. The apartment itself was not only beautifully decorated but also well-equipped with everything we needed. And the view was amazing. The location is great—right on the promenade that leads to beach with all restaurants, markets, playground , yet thanks to the elevated position and the huge garden, we enjoyed complete tranquility without any noise disturbance. Speaking of the garden, it’s truly one of the most stunning gardens we've ever seen. Our children had so much fun just being there, exploring and playing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and we would always come gladly back.

• Madelon (10/5): Excellent - We had a lovely time at villa Miomir. Ivona is a very friendly and helpful hostess, she made sure we were comfortable in the sea view apartment. She was immediately available if we needed anything or had any questions. The apartment is roomy and clean with a good bathroom and a small kitchen that met our expectations. There is also good air conditioning, which kept the heat away well. The apartment is located in a nice area with a beach, restaurants, supermarket and bus station within walking distance. There is a lovely garden surrounding the apartment with lots of shade and cute areas to sit. It is very peaceful there, the apartment is very nice and quiet; the noises from the nearby ‘bustling’ street with restaurants and bars could not be heard at all even though it is still within 3 minute walking distance. It was just exactly what we needed!

• Barbara (10/5): Stunning beautiful place - we loved it! - We loved Villa Miomir and were extremely sad to leave! Ivona was so helpful. The best thing was the lovely terrace and garden. We loved sitting there in the mornings having breakfast with the many sweet tortoises who would walk past and the friendly white cat! The studio had everything we needed, including a kitchen and good shower. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the sea and once we went early in the morning to swim, which was so amazing. Also very near to a big Tommy supermarket which had everything we needed, just a few minutes walk, and also very close to the bus stop to the old town. We had a wonderful stay and we miss it there! The views are amazing and the garden is so very beautiful! Thank you Ivona, we hope to see you again one day!

• Christopher (10/5): Beautiful and peaceful with only a short walk to the beach. - The villa is situated in very impedance pretty gardens and is very lovely and peaceful. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Very well located. It was clean and had all essential amenities. Nicely decorated. I would definitely stay again.

• Craig (10/5): A charming location - I stayed in the garden studio which is adjacent to the Villa. I enjoyed my stay. The studio could comfortably accommodate two people. It was clean and well appointed. It has a kitchenette and separate bathroom. There is an outdoor garden where you can hang washing. There is also a table and chair located there. The studio is not air-conditioned but has a fan. I found that the fan kept me cool at night even though the weather was hot. The host was friendly and cleaned up the apartment after I spilt some liquid on the floor. Villa Miomir was built in 1929 and has an old-world charm that is often lacking in modern accommodation. The garden studio in which I stayed is a modern addition to the Villa and has a contemporary feel. There is a terrace at the front of the Villa just next to the studio which guests can use. It has a table and two chairs and offers a delightful view of the garden and of the Adriatic Sea. I ate my breakfast here. There is nothing about Villa Miomir that I disliked. It is important to note however that the Villa is located on the side of a steep hill and that to get there from the main street that runs down to the beach you will need to walk up a long flight of stairs. People who have heavy luggage may find the stairs hard to negotiate when they first arrive.
