Guest Reviews
- Yvonne (8/5): -
- Sui Ping Heidi (8/5): Not too bad but owner can definitely improve the facilities to make it a better stay - Spacious But essential cooking elements are missing.
- Alex (10/5): Clean, cosy accomodation right in the heart of Bicheno. Kitchen and bathroom facilities 10/10. Beautiful quiet back - Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! Nothing - all amazing!
- David (7/5): Present and comfortable. - In the information from booking.com the address is described as 1/6 and in another area 1/8 Champ st this was a little confusing. The steps leading up to the front door were not level and caused my partner to stumble.
This should be fixed before someone has a serious accident.
- Shammi (6/5): Coles bay may have been a better option. - BF N/A as not provided.
Disappointed with the location. A dog in the neighborhood barked pretty much all night! Location and difficult to find.
- Rachel (9/5): Good location for a short stay. - Very good location, super quiet but walk to shops and jetty beach. Clean.
Lots of nice options for sitting outside. Washing machine, pegs and clothes line very handy.
Hot strong shower - recess a bit small. Big thick towels. Condiments, gladwrap, ice cube trays, throws - all very much appreciated.
- Abbott (9/5): - Very comfortable, in a quiet location but convenient. Plenty of space and good garden surroundings.
- Phyllis (7/5): Comfortable but missing wifi - Very cosy clean property The big drawback was no wifi. This is really important in modern Australia as people depend on wifi to do some work while away or for entertainment in the evening.
- Susan (10/5): An absolute Gen - This unique little cottage is just a gem. Superbly fitted out and so comfortable we would highly recommend for a couple to 4 people for a night to a week to a month depending on need. So close to everything and yet quiet and private. We will be back!! Nothing
- Wendy (8/5): -
- Barry (8/5): - Location Approach problematic. Shower too small.
- Rodney (8/5): -
- Jan (10/5): - Beautiful comfy cottage. Everything we needed and nice and quiet.
- Jenni (9/5): Well worth the stay if doing adventures aroun Bicheno - Very comfy The microwave wasn’t working properly
- Grant (10/5): - This is a beautiful place with great, spacious living space. Great location and well maintained. Hope to come back and enjoy it in the summer.
- Roberta (8/5): Great location - Great location
Everything you need for a short break
- Leslee (5/5): A bit tired looking - Location to everything Lack of some cooking items. Eg. They had a really large pot and Avery small pot….nothing in between
- Leigh (7/5): Good -
- Julie (7/5): Disappointed but lovely location - Great location, quiet, comfortable beds, nice verandah. Stove top hot plates didn't work ( even after reading instructions) , microwave turn table didn't turn so couldn't use ( tried to contact property manager with phone number of fridge , went to message bank and it asked for a text message to be sent ..... it was a landline so impossible, left voice mail no reply). No dishes you could use in the oven so we couldn't cook . Bathroom extraction fan didn't work. Nowhere to put the soap supplied in bathroom either in shower or on bathroom bench. Spoiled our stay .
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Walking distance to local sightseeing places Height of clothes line I’m vertically challenged
- Simone (8/5): My Daughter and I enjoyed our stay and location was great. Beach close by was beautiful too - Property was clean and great location I was disappointed with TV and lack of channels and unfortunately no wifi.
- Catherine (9/5): Had everything we needed . - Location great. Easy to walk for dinner or drive to attractions
- Kevin (10/5): Great value for money - Very cosy unit and good value for money. The layout is nice and the outdoor areas are great. It was pretty near the beaches and the area is nice and quiet. The property did not have wifi. It was stated in Booking.Com that there was no wifi, but we missed that.
- Di (7/5): Cute house close to town and beaches - Great location walking distance to town and the beach. Clean and cosy. There is only a curtain on the second bedroom - no solid door. Also, we didnt see in the fine print that there is an extra 2.75% charged for credit cards - but the only payment option offered is a credit card. On the booking site it states 'The final price shown is the amount you'll pay to the property' - this is not accurate.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Leigh (9/5): Lovely comfortable stay - Cosy and comfortable Lack of lighting over the kitchen
- Leo (6/5): Comfortable, passing by, went to Bowlo for dinners -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb - Location was good. Unit was comfortable.
- Lesley (7/5): Good - Bathroom was functional. Great water pressure. . Kitchen a bit cramped and no can opener. Lock box tricky to get the key. some movie or Netflix option for
guests who are in at night.
- Dawn (9/5): Superb -
- Lorna (10/5): Enjoyable comfortable cottage - Very comfortable and near beach Nothing
- Magda (9/5): Superb -
- Tara (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet & private. Multiple living spaces inside and out. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine was fabulous. Highly recommend this accomodation option. We found out that if you head down to the blowhole .. minutes away..at dusk you can see the penguins come up to nest
- Leesa (8/5): Very good -
- Hsinyi (8/5): We stay for 3nights, very cozy and warm. - It’s nice for family with children, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen is perfect. I suggest the owner give clearly information about the key lock box, including how to open it and how it looks like, etc.
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was comfortable and great location. Nothing
- Steph (8/5): Central, clean, comfortable, quaint and quiet. - The location was central and the accommodation suited everything we required. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Perfect to have the second bed, due to coming down with the 'flu and needing to sleep in a separate room. Had everything we needed, shower / water pressure was good. Both beds very comfortable and super clean linen. Not 5 star but a great place to stay, satisfied our needs!! We needed to hose down a car and rescue boat (sand and muddy wheels) but there was not an external hose fitting close enough to the parking area. The dining table felt sticky - it could have been the nature of the wood varnish??
- Melanie (8/5): Very good - deck amenities squeaky bed
- Zoi (10/5): Felt at home with all the comforts. - Everything was perfect. A lot of thought has been put into making the place so comfortable. Eg: a choice of a soft and hard pillow to sleep on.
We felt at home We couldn't fault it
- Glenda (8/5): a happy little shack close to the Main Street in Bicheno - the location was terrific! a quiet little spot close to the Main Street. we needed some instructions to use the cooktop.
- Lisa (8/5): got to se - it ticked all the boxes needed doors in 2nd bedroom
- Carolyn (8/5): Everything we needed, comfortable, good location - Quiet and pleasant No number on street to tell us where to go had to ask at caravan park for directions
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous little Self contained unit.
Private. Just gorgeous.
So cute and quirky.
The bathroom was lovely!
Well stocked kitchen.
Comfy loungeroom.
Great location close to town.
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Miriam (8/5): Ended up very pleasant and when we found manager, he was very helpful - The house we ended up in at 180 Tasman Highway was great. Spacious, really well equipped and great view. Little Champ would have been fine but didn't work out. Could not find Little Champ without help from locals. Address in emails said 1 Champ St in one email and 1/6 Champ St in another email, neither of which were helpful. Recommend changing address to Unit 1, Champ Street Villas which is what you see from the street. Also, need to change phone number on the Holiday Rentals signs asap. Took effort to find correct number when we needed to contact manager.
- Benjamin (8/5): Very good - The cosy set up. Everything was clean and modern facilities were great.
Communication with Steve was great No WiFi
Address is not correct online as is Unit 1 No.8 Champ Street.
