Guest Reviews
- Shoshana (8/5): Comfortable in nature stay - Location was lovely and it was spacious. Right on the doorstep we had kangaroos and lots of native birds. The noise traveled a lot from the other house (split home) and movement too. If kids were running around the whole house shook.
- Catherine (7/5): - A few coffee capsules for the machine would be good
- Melissa (9/5): Beautiful fantastic stay! Loved it and will be back! - The birds and feeling of out in the woods but being so close to everything in the yallingup and Dunsborough area. Loved the nature! The kookaburras and possums and kangaroos. Sometimes you can hear the neighbours. But, would often be just for a second or so.
- Kong Wai (7/5): -
- Penny (8/5): Relaxing - Location in the bush and well situated between Yallingup and Dunsborough.Comfortable beds and sofas. Nice to have streaming services in the evening Bit of a lack of hangers, hooks - basics like that. Otherwise all good
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - Location and set out as we have stayed here before Nothing though the chalet does move a bit in the wind
- Victoria (7/5): Comfortable stay - Central to beaches around Yallingup. Comfortable and adequate accommodation for our stay. Being a semi detached chalet, sounds and vibration from next door transmitted through the floor. No coffee making equipment eg cafetière.
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Loved being out amongst the trees and nature.
- Irene (8/5): Pleasant, in a great spot but won't stay again as it is part of a resort. - The place was very clean and had all we needed. The description on Booking.Com was not accurate. We were unaware that the chalet was part of Yallingup Forest Retreat. Also that we were one half of a duplex. Luckily the other half was not occupied, if it had been we would not have had the quiet we longed for.
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Great location set in forest Wooden construction means they vibrate and are quite noisey with people in the next cabin.
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Erica (9/5): Excellent and just what we were after - excellent location, quiet and peaceful. loved the chalet too and will stay again.
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Gail (9/5): The perfect hideaway for our visit to the region. - The chalet was in a fabulous quiet setting in the bush. The dawn chorus was beautiful.
- Gill (8/5): A very enjoyable ‘back to nature’ stay - Quiet chalet with wrap around deck in a lovely forest setting to enjoy the birdlife. Handy separate laundry area shared with the adjoining chalet. Within easy driving distance to restaurants & shops in Dunsborough & beaches Rather expensive for simple chalet accommodation for a couple using only the main bedroom. Modern apartments in Margaret river town & Rockingham were better value. Gloomy lighting, some table or floor lamps would help. Limited worktop space to prepare food in kitchen area.
- Lauren (10/5): Beautiful and convenient location, modern and clean property. - There is nothing to fault about this property! It is a modern, clean, conveniently located, self contained unit. Self check in and check out is a breeze. I am a clean freak and this property was extremely well kept. Husband and I realised we had stayed here a few years ago with a some mates using the attached property, our experience that time was also amazing (booked under someone elses name). My husband's favourite feature was the smart TV with streaming services - kept our toddler entertained from 430am onwards (YouTube, mummy and daddy are still sleeping thanks) and he could easily watch the first round of the 2024 AFL season. When you look outside you can see a bunch of birdhouses, and the smell of gumtrees early in the morning is fantastic. You also get access to a beautiful pool area, tennis courts, and cool playground. The possum in the ceiling the first night, but hey, maybe he's part of the wildlife experience? He was skulking along the balcony earlier that evening...
- Val (7/5): Good -
- Katherine (10/5): Absolute piece of paradise - What a beautiful location! Nestled in the forest and surrounded by nature and wildlife. Super comfortable, great value and well appointed accomodation that was close to everything. Especially loved the day spa on the property. Perfect for our girls week away. Natasha (our host) was super helpful as well. Cant wait to visit again. This is the perfect retreat Nothing
- Lois (6/5): Disappointing - The French (balcony) doors to the main bedroom wouldn’t close properly or even stay closed. We had to jam a chair against the inside door knob to stop it from swinging open! Therefore absolutely no security.
- Nola (9/5): Natasha was very easy to deal with. Obliging and helpful. Cottage was lovely for our stay. -
