- Matthew (9/5): Great place to stay close to historic town centre - Lovely location, really clean and great condition. Everything you could need for cooking and nice equipment. Car parking permit was a good solution for the small streets of this historic town. Supermarkets about 100M away, and you pass a pub, cafe and a coffee shop to get there! Slightly more/better towels but this is nitpicking!
- deborah (8/5): A quality, cottage style property for a short break in the centre of Dartmouth. - the main living floor is well laid out and has all you need for 4. Kitchen very well appointed. The furniture and decor all lovely quality. Close into the centre of town but quiet (appreciate october not height of summer). All the bathrooms new and spotlessly clean. Dartmouth notoriously difficult for parking - so the passes that the owners have arranged are essential particularly as south ford road is only passable for narrow cars. Nothing we didn't like but worth noting that the 'large' double bed, really was just a double and the 'double' is a small double. Absolutely fine for us as not big people and only there for 4 nights but setting expectation for others.....

- Claire (10/5): Gem of a stay in Dartmouth - The house was in an excellent location literally a 2 minute walk from the main street in Dartmouth but on a quiet lane. It was a comfortable and stylish home to relax in with great facilities. Would definitely consider returning to Frebus House. Lynda sounded so friendly in communication with her and we weren't bogged down with numerous house rules. It felt like we had permission to just relax and enjoy our stay. Thank you! Nothing.
- Jessica (10/5): A fantastic find - A beautiful property ideally located. Lynda was a fantastic host and replies to any queries very quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. The only thing to be aware of is that there isn’t a washing machine at the property.

There were two adult couples in our party and the house easily accommodated us all. Well situated to explore the SW coast path, Dartmouth Castle, Greenway House and more….all without getting the car out of the car park. The house was very quiet and warm, well equipped and nicely decorated. The sitting area was separated from the dining area which allowed for a smooth transition from eating/clearing up and relaxing. If we go to Dartmouth again, we will stay here if it is available. We are fussy and prefer soft beds so did find the beds were a little firm for our tastes.

Very well equipped kitchen. A real home from home, we had a lovely stay. Really kind and friendly owners. Beds were a little hard for our taste. Lots of stairs but that’s dartmouth for you!

Only free parking for one car. If you are not good with steep steps and steep stairs this property could be a bit tricky as it has both.

Mould in down stairs shower room, however the host notified us of this and has plans to replace the extract fan. Small outside area. Too many stairs to enter property and within the property.

Great location with everything you need - All I can say is thank goodness the car was full going back 😀 Seriously this house has top end furnishings and accessories, all put together to make a fantastic place to stay. The view from upstairs was stunning. Seating in the garden area is very low. My elderly father struggled.

- Ria (10/5): definitely a place worth coming back to. - The decor and location was stunning, the views from the house were breathtaking overlooking the entire landscape of Dartmouth. loved the design and decor of the house and the Netflix and sky were an added bonus we didn’t expect. there’s wasn’t a single thing to dislike about the property.
