Bref c’était une nuit c’est vraiment très sale Rien tout est très sale même l’endroit est dans un une décharge

• Rohan (2/5): Avoid this hotel – unpleasant experience from the start. - I booked three nights at Siesta Hotel but checked out the same day due to a series of issues. From the moment I arrived, the experience was disappointing. The hotel felt like a ghost town—completely empty and lifeless. The bathroom was messy. There was no soap and no toiletries. The furniture was old and worn. To make matters worse, there was no drinking water available anywhere in the hotel—not even in the restaurant. When I asked at reception, they confirmed the entire hotel had no water. I decided to leave and was still charged a $50 commission fee. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

My stay at the hotel exceeded all expectations — from the warm welcome and professional reception, to the cleanliness of the rooms and attention to detail, and most importantly, the respectful and courteous behavior of the staff, which truly reflects a high level of professionalism and hospitality. I would also like to highlight the hotel’s excellent location, which made it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything the surroundings had to offer. • Khalid (8/5): Great service. - A great hotel with an excellent location right next to the beach. The staff were amazing and always helpful whenever I had a question or needed assistance. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I was only disappointed to find that the pool was under construction.

• Saeed (3/5): I will not repeat my stay at this hotel - the break fast and the resturant people were good, the view were very nice facing la plage de siesta the reciption employees were negative and not wellcoming people and the AC is not working properly and the toilet not clean

Pool was not cleaned, weak breakfast (only bread and honey or beans), shower with salty sea-water, difficult to communicate with the staff (only one person spoke English, most people spoke just a few words French)
• James (10/5): BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS with beach views - I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment with my mum for 10 days (whilst also working remotely)-So spent a lot of time there to test all they have to offer Location: 1) Was amazing, its right on the beach front (20 seconds walk) 2) All the rooms have sea and pool views Facilities: 1)Free wifii: throughout the whole building (which was very important to me for zoom meetings and using voice calling apps) 2) Swimming pool: cleaned everyday and guests could use it 24 hours a day (They have lights in the pool switched on at night, which looks magical/romantic) 4) Onsite restaurant: traditional food served....was soo good, that I noticed non guests coming with big pots for take aways (no joke lol) Rooms: 1) Decent size, clean and lots of power points (UK plugs) 2) Air conditioning: to say Djibouti is hot is an understatement, and their air con units are a life saver with varies settings to choose from. 3) Room service: I am not sure if its 24 hours, but anytime I needed something, no matter the time of day, they provided it... 4) Bathroom, is UK style sit down toilet with toilet paper or water extension to use 5) Shower, well there was so many functions to it, ie from the top, hand held and even one that does just your feet lol 6) TV 7) Mini Fridge 8) Lots of cupboard space. and my favourite, all the rooms have a balcony with sea views, spent mannier days just chilling watching people swimming/walking and glories sunsets. The staff speak varies languages, including, Somali, French, Arabic and English, this meant their service was excellent and nothing was to big or small for them to accomade my mother and I. Thank you to Yousef and his team for having us, mum sends her love!! Regards Ifrah and Halima. Nothing at all to be honest, they only issue I had was the remote for the TV was not working.....But I had no interest so didnt ask for new batteries.

• Rahel (8/5): Very good - The location is great. It was a 15 minutes walk from downtown where I was working for a few days. It has a beach front which is wonderful for walking in the evening. The staff are all AMAZING! They are super helpful, caring and welcoming. The space right outside the hotel could use a little clean up. It is also where a few taxi's park. It would make the view and the walks much more enjoyable.
