Room had nice decor Overpriced - granted it was Brighton Marathon Weekend but the for price and what you get,.it doesn't match up
No WiFi
Temperature - on the first night it was cold, and while the little radioator was on full, the room remained cold throughout the night

- Yegorov (8/5): Modest but nice place for budget traveller. - Very convenient place for staying in Brighton, especially if you are travelling alone. There are a lot of shops and cafes nearby. Internat worked fine. As for me, process of obtaiing keys from the room was relatively complicated.
- Rajini (2/5): - Location noise from the builders all day! Noise very noisy
- Jane (8/5): Excellent. - I was travelling to Brighton for a Xmas bash and just needed a place to crash rather than deal with the night bus! This was cheaper than a taxi and was far nicer than I expected for the price. Everything was modern and clean. I have no complaints and would definitely use the place again.
- Carolina (9/5): -
- ROBERT (10/5): - Clean,no fuss.location,

- ROBERT (10/5): - Amazing stay at a lovely place.Well looked after and exceptionally clean and luxurious NA
- McDermott (4/5): Comfortable but LOUD - TV and WIFI need serious addressing - Very comfortable and homely plus easy access - Great Shower WIFI was dreadful - TV picked up 3 channels and whenever you moved the TV froze. Also the ceilings are so thin you could hear everything. Very Loud. I messaged the owner about the TV and all I got was a Sorry. No one came to sort it out
- Ege (10/5): - Perfect for my needs. Been staying here several times. Good location, clean rooms, friendly and easy going staff. Excellent value for money.

- Alfredo (8/5): Good value for money and clean. - Near the beach and not far from the train station. They let me check in earlier. They even had complimentary coffee and tea. Nothing.
- Samuel (9/5): - I stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights while working locally during the day. I’ll admit I was initially a bit skeptical about the booking, since it’s shared accommodation, but it completely exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a single to a double room, which I truly appreciated. It made my stay even more comfortable.
I’d read some reviews mentioning that the property isn’t en-suite, but this was clearly stated in the booking, and given the price, I wasn’t expecting it to be. The shared bathroom was kept very clean throughout my stay, and the shower had great water pressure—just like at home. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided were suitable for my needs.
There was some occasional noise outside the property at night, but it was minor, outside the host’s control, and didn’t affect my stay.
Overall, I can’t fault this accommodation at all and would definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Garnett (9/5): Excellent stay - Central location. Comfy room. Stairs with no bannister
- ROBERT (10/5): -
- tayla (8/5): It was a great stay and I would stay again. - The loft/apartment was incredible, clean and stylish. Good kitchen facilities and decorated lovely. We knew there was a shared bathroom but unfortunately there was no toilet paper the first night. The shower floor also wasn't clean.
- Hannah (10/5): Clean and comfortable budget friendly accommodation - I stayed here, mid week for on and off about a month for a temp job in Brighton. It was really good value for money. I felt safe, (as a solo female) and comfortable. It was clean and convenient and Amelia was very accommodating and kind. Thank you
- Brandon (10/5): Very pleasant. Great location - Great location. Close to the beach, close to the laines. Double room was very spacious. Access to own kitchen Nothing
- Roland (10/5): - Everything is good here, as simple as that! Everything here is fine. Nothing that i disliked... All good.
- Roland (10/5): - Everything is ok. A very nice place Everything is ok. A very nice place
- Rajini (8/5): - The hotel is close to the beach and easy access for me. The owner is not aware that people are keeping their pets on the property. The pet is jumping on people and biting people.
- Gavin (10/5): -
- Geraldine (9/5): Good value stay with comfy bed and clean facilities - A good value stay close to amenities Very clean and comfy bed.

- Szi-Andor (9/5): -
- Lillie (10/5): Very nice little place to stay - The beds were so comfy I wish I could’ve taken them home with me .
- Philip (9/5): -
- Cintia (9/5): - I was kindly upgraded to a larger room (perhaps due to the low season), and it was lovely. I was able to make my own breakfast and had a really good night’s sleep.
The room/studio is very bright, with lots of windows - most of which have blackout curtains. For those sensitive to light in the early morning, bring a sleep mask and you’ll be just fine.
Communication was easy as well. I’ll definitely come back and would recommend this place.
- Aphra (2/5): - The location was convenient. Unclean damp room, duvet cover almost threadbare, old shabby towel provided.
The duvet was so old it was lumped together in places.
No access to TV channels - Netflix subscribers only.
Exceptionally poor standard.
- Miguel (8/5): - Emplacement situé dans un quartier dynamique en front de mer. Idéal pour passer un week-end
- Francesca (6/5): It's fine if everyone is considerate, maybe there should be warnings - The ground floor room in itself is fine, clean. Outside the road is quiet and the location was fine for me. There is a washing machine in the shared bathroom which I used and that was a nice touch. The walls are thin, and unfortunately the first night the upstairs guests kept knocking the wall and smashed four times the bathroom's door several times in the middle of the night, like 1, 2, 3 o'clock. I had a sleepless night. The following two nights, there was no one upstairs and I could sleep well.
The bathroom's door is tricky to lock and should be fixed.
- Philip (8/5): will stay in future - clean, simple, polite, hassle free shared bathroom but not a bother
- Tara (7/5): Great location for a short trip - I was able to check in at 11 which was great, as I didn’t have to lug my bag around all day
Location
Light on the room The floor was filthy, especially the carpet, it was covered in dirt and general crud.
- Sofia (9/5): -
- richard (10/5): Enjoyable & will return - Location with gated courtyard
Very quiet
Stone throw to the beach & 10 min walk to the lanes, bars & restaurants
Kemptown has a real bespoke & quirky vibe Mouthing not to like ❤️
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Анна (10/5): -
- Simon (10/5): - The landlady was helpful in accommodating my late check-in
Secure parking for my scooter.
Excellently situated. Low price. Nothing.

- Robert (10/5): -
- Wasim (10/5): -
- Moumen (1/5): Never again - Apart from the location, nothing the room was small, smelly, dirty, stain everywhere, hair on pillow and bed, I couldnt even use the Toilet/bath, it was just horror movie
- Chris (7/5): - This place is run in the friendliest way, I've stayed here many times as a solo traveller and the single rooms are better than so many other places provide. I'm not paid to say I'd stay again but I will. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): The room served its purpose of getting my head down for the night - clean and perfect for what I needed
- Ege (10/5): - Have stayed several times when visiting Brighton. Perfect location, clean comfortable room. Clean shared bathroom. Easy and friendly communication. Will stay again.
- Adrian (9/5): -
- Sylvain (10/5): Perfect, thanks again - The woman who does the cleaning is very pleasant and accommodating when it comes to changing the sheets. Thank you The oven doesn't work otherwise everything else is fine
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Tina (9/5): - Great communication
Ron was bigger and bed was bigger than I thought. I had a single bed room
It was quiet and room was clean
I was sharing a bathroom but it was big and all went smoothly with the other occupant
Great location
- Flo (8/5): -
- John (7/5): John's stay at Atlingwort, Brighton. - Good size room and bed, comfortable. New TV, fridge, kettle,. Tea bags etc. Plenty of hanging space and electric sockets. Two armchairs. Bedside lamps. Nice courtyard outside with places to sit. Amelia was very friendly and prompt with the emails. The general decor was good. Fresh paint job etc. Is the bathroom next to be done?( bad tile on floor, rusty radiator on wall. Cracked sink. White paint splatters on wall tiles.)
Dodgy step underfoot near top of stairs.
A handrail going up the stairs would be good for those of us no longer in the full flush of our youth...

- Tyrone (10/5): Had a great stay here. - The location of the property was amazing, just an incredibly short walk to the beach itself, and the surrounding area had many places to go, like pubs or restaurants, the place felt safe and the room was great. No downside at all, the property looked like the images shown, as well as the double room we chose.
- Arshad (10/5): Exceptional !!! - Location next to brighton pier at lovely beach side giving you the best fresh sea vibes.
Rooms were clean and superb.
Host were so helpful ☺️.
- Rise (8/5): -
- Kate (9/5): -
- Nera18 (7/5): Good value for money - Clean, quiet and well located Very uncomfortable mattress, needs urgent change.
- Jonathan (9/5): -
- Andres (10/5): Nice but a bit dodgy - Location within walking distance from shops, pubs night clubs etc Other lodgers coming to knock on entrance and no one to control or supervise the reception. No one to guard the safety of the property during the Morning
- Martin (7/5): Beach time at Brighton - In a great location, near beach and right close to Kemptown. Facilities are little run down with slight smell of mould. However everything is as advertised and with a last minute booking for a cheap price I cannot complain.
- George (7/5): Lovely location & staff but scrimped on the mattress and pillows causing poor sleep. - Excellent location & attractive room. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable & the room got sweltering hot. I have stayed here before, but in different rooms, and not had this problem. The weather was hot so that’s exceptional but the bed and pillows were disappointing for the cost.
- Jacopo Maria (7/5): -
- Stefan (8/5): House close to beach - Very close to the beach, you can actually see the sea from the street, room is medium sized, has a double bed which is comfortable Only one shared bathroom
- Gomes (7/5): -
- John (9/5): - Excellent it met all my requirements
- Szymaś (8/5): - Amelia is very nice person. She is looking after every new guest. Place is nice, tidy, and comfortable. the guests next door who were slamming doors
- James (10/5): - Thank you Wayne, lovely affordable hotel, clean and good location…..perfect
- Shay (10/5): Nice, simple and what you needed - The rooms were nice and simple with everything you needed such as extras like a mini fridge, kettle and such. Bed was big for a single which was nice and Amelia the host was super friendly when it came to accommodating to things. I was meant to check in a bit earlier and Amelia went out to do that despite my train getting me there late the option was still there. Didn't come across anything!
- Jenoire33 (9/5): Clean, functional, uncluttered & an excellent room rate for Brighton! - Very impressed with the standard of cleanliness and communication. I would have liked a fan and I love a bath.
- Arif (10/5): -
- Karim (10/5): - The room
