Guest Reviews
- Helen (10/5): We will be back… it was stunning. Perfect place to stay. - Stunning view. Helpful lovely hostess/owner. Great communication. Lovely location… be ready for steps… with all the things you need and more. Close to all amenities and sites. Lots of information in the apartment on tourist places/restaurants and vouchers for a fabulous breakfast in a lovely location we loved on the marina. There was nothing we didn’t like. We really got to live and breath the old town. Just make sure you are in good health and have good knees for steps, pack light. We stayed for a week. Can highly recommend.
- Tara (10/5): Luxury in the heart of historical Dubrovnik - Great location, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed! Very clean, very comfortable and perfect for a family of five. Toni & Antonella were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and in a stunning setting.
- Reuben (10/5): -
- Virginia (10/5): Fantastic stay! - The location was excellent! Breakfast was fabulous and such a treat. Antonella was great to work with. She was super helpful with any questions and needs we had and was a good communicator. We would definitely stay here again!
- Theresa (10/5): We had a fabulous trip and couldn’t fault the villa - it is exeptional! - The property is amazing - it is exceptionally clean and modern and it has everything you could possibly need whilst away from home. There are lots of steep steps going up to the property so it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
- Joanne (9/5): - Prachtig
- Stephanie (9/5): - Location and great kitchen area. View was awesome. Good family room area. Nicely kept and updated! Lots and lots of steps to climb to room but could be common for that area. Some tvs didn’t work. There were 4 levels so had to go up and down stairs for every room.
- Christopher (10/5): -

- Canns (10/5): - The best accommodation we stayed in Croatia! You can see that the hostess and her husband had put so much effort in setting up this property.
We are a family of 6 with children and this 3 bedroom apartment was perfect - it also comes with a generous living room, a good sized kitchen, a gym(!), sauna and jacuzzi! It was really comfortable, we truly felt at home.
It is located 3mins away from Buza Gate and accessible to most parts of the Old Town with spectacular view. Nothing. Travellers should be aware that there are a lot of stairs in Dubrovnik Old Town and it is probably best that you ask the hostess to help you to engage porters to help with the suitcases.
- Rod (10/5): A designer paradise in old town Dubrovnik - The design of the Villa is impeccable. As an architect and interior designer, I was impressed with the level of detail and design. Each of the 3 primary suites are spacious and gorgeously designed. The furniture and amenities are top notch. The view overlooking the old town of Dubrovnik is spectacular. Yes, there are a lot of steps to get up to or down to the villa (depending on which gate you enter the old town), but don't let that frighten you from renting the villa. It's worth the exercise.
- Mary (10/5): Perfect stay in Dubrovnik. - Everything! The villa is wonderful! Prettier than the photos. Antonela, the host, was awesome! Not exactly didnt like but I think its worth noting that there will be quite a number of steep steps on the way to the property.
- Jon (10/5): Amazing home in the middle of old town. Highly recommended! - Just beautiful. The owners remodeled it and made it stunning, full of amenities and comfortable. Has a sit tub and sauna, work out facility (treadmill, bikes, weights, etc). Very comfortable for our family of five.
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (10/5): Relaxing and indulgent way to pass the New Year - Brilliant location, beautiful architecture and high level of finish. Everything you need for a comfortable stay
- Hong (10/5): We had very good stay at Villa Lapsia. - The apartment is renovated with extremely good taste: super clean with upscale appliances. No washer
- Doron (10/5): perfect apartment in the old town. - Everything is just perfect stop wasting your time to search and book this place. Helpful hint: the taxi can't enter the old town, it's a bit of a walk from the taxi with many steps, ask for someone to come and take your bags for you they charge ten euro per bag and it is seriously worth it. Chilling at the balcony you feel like you are in wonderland. The design is just perfect. Great sauna and jaccuzi. Seriously perfect location since being in the upper side of the city gives you the most amazing views. 3 big master bedrooms with toilet. The only thing I did not like is that I usually enjoy complaining, and there is nothing to complain about.
- Candice (9/5): Beautiful spot! Ifthe window are open it's very loud outside with people talking, but if you close t -
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivanovich (10/5): Modern comfort in historic city. You are truly immersed in this magical city! - Wonderful breakfast daily at a top restaurant near the home, included in rental.
- Claire (10/5): Fabulous city break, staying in luxury property - Absolutely stunning property, designed and finished to high specifications and thoughtfully detailed. Great hosts who went out of their way to assist and make sure our stay was perfect. Fabulous location in the middle of old town. Perfect base to explore. Quiet luxurious retreat after hustle and bustle of the day. Nothing!
- Hermanus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenn (10/5): Exceptional - Very responsive and helpful in planning.
- Lana (10/5): Luxury & comfort in old town - Villa and host were amazing - everything was exceptional. Quiet location but in the heart of old town. Love the facilities. Everything was newly renovated and no expense spared in the details. The host thought of almost every comfort and need of their guests. Was spoiled! Everything was just fantastic - but if I must pick something, then I would say if there was a washer/dryer in the accommodation then it would be just beyond!!
Also, important to note there are a number of steps up and down to get to the accommodation - it is very close to the nearest wall gate for transfers (3-5 minutes walk w/ luggage)
- Ruth (10/5): Stunning villa in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik! - Absolutely beautiful villa in Old Town Dubrovnik! The beds, linens, and space were exceptional. There were many little extras that were unexpected and appreciated - built-in phone charger, extra power adapter, robes/slippers for each room, hot tub, sauna, well-equipped gym, great hairdryers, and free breakfast at a great spot. Everything in this villa was of the highest quality, including air-conditioning. We loved having coffee and a drink at the end of the night on the small balcony looking down the steps of Dubrovnik. Antonela arranged a car from the ferry port, met us at the Dubrovnik gate, helped us with some of our luggage, led us up and down the steps to the villa, and gave us a tour of the villa. We also greatly appreciated that Antonela had some of the basic staples supplied in the kitchen - milk for coffee, a bottle of wine, bottles of water, and a few snacks. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who doesn't have mobility issues - lots of steps! As mentioned, many steps with luggage would be an issue for some. There were not any laundry facilities at the villa. Everything else was perfect!
- Ladislas (10/5): Classy, modern, upscale, home in the middle of old town. - Beautiful property. Brand new and in the perfect location right in the middle of old town on a quiet walkway. The rooms were Sparkling clean and very well appointed. The updates and renovations to the home were top of the line, high quality and tastefully done.
The owners were so lovely and kind. There wasn’t anything I would change. We’ve traveled to Europe 8 times in the past few years and this was our favorite place we’ve ever stayed in. They even helped us arrange a boat ride which was lovely . We will be back !! Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
- Eric (10/5): Dubrovnik - amazing UNESCO world heritage site. Vila Lapisa - really is the best apartment in town. - Vila Lapisa is sensational; the location in the old town is unbeatable; the fit out of the apartment is the best we have ever seen; Antonela and Tony were brilliant hosts, meeting us and helping with bags us at arrival and departure. Nothing!
- Sangeeta (10/5): Croatia was beautiful - stays, people & places. But Vila Lapisa was the icing on the cake!! - The villa itself was gorgeous - the jacuzzi & the sauna were a super touch. The decor was lovely & the material used for flooring, bathroom walls, fittings were all very luxe. Each floor was so well laid out. The master suite was super large & had a large walk-in closet & a lovely balcony sit-out. The living area on the top floor was large enough for the 6 of us & so well equipped with everything. The location was brilliant - in the quieter part of the old town but just a few steps down and all the hustle bustle of the restaurants, bars & the main street began. The inclusion of breakfast was very thoughtful - the best part was that it was a' la carte & it was truly champagne & mimosas for breakfast!! And last but not the least Antonella was extremely helpful to get us everything we needed. She & her husband went above & beyond to help find reliable porter services & negotiate with them for us. Their attitude to everything definitely made our stay that much more memorable. This is more 'we did not understand' than a 'we did not like' :) We didn't understand the need for a small gym as part of the apartment (though maybe long-stay guests would find use for it - we stayed for 4 nights). Instead, we thought that the ground floor could have done with a small utility area (well concealed of course :)). A small washer-dryer unit inside the apartment might serve everyone better. Plus, we thought that the bathrooms could do with a little more shelf space, hanging & drying spaces for towels, etc. But otherwise loved everything else!!
- Claudia (9/5): great location, amazing place, awesome hosts! - the property is absolutely beautufil, all the amenities where incredible in it as well. the owners where very attentive all the time providing us with everything we needed. the location is perfect nothing really except that there is a lot of stairs to carry the luggage so you need to find someone to do it for you but just mention it to the owners and they will help you with that,
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - This was the most amazing and gorgeous home, just remodeled and perfect in every way. We stayed with 3 couples, plenty of room. It was in the heart of the city, yet fairly quiet. The view is amazing out of the top window of the town and the sea. The hosts were wonderful and responsive and even waited for us quite long when we were late to arrive. Note that there are a lot of steep steps going to the apartment and throughout the town. We will be back!!
- Julie (10/5): A beautiful apartment- our stay was too short! - The property is beautiful. The way they renovated it highlighting the old beams and stone walls but including beautiful modern fixtures is exceptional. I have only positives about the property. I will add a warning for those not familiar with Dubrovnik- the stairs to get to the property are no joke. Steep and no railings. That is the nature of staying in Old Town. That being said, if you are able to do stairs (pack light) the property is well worth the climb. I can’t imagine staying in a more beautiful, comfortable apartment. You will not be disappointed!
- Belinda (10/5): Amazing home for our family stay in the perfect old town location. - The location was amazing. The home was stunning, very comfortable - perfect for our family holiday indulgence! Nothing
- David (10/5): Wonderful place - Beautifully refurbished property in the old town. Close to all the classic major attractions. Very friendly and helpful hosts who made every effort to make our stay comfortable. Please be aware it is in the old town part of Dubrovnik and there are lots of stairs. So don't bring heavy luggage. Otherwise excellent.
- Peter (10/5): The lap of luxury in the heart of the old city: spectacular views from the top floor living room - excellent breakfast in one of the best venues in town and really close! all great ,- delightfully obliging hosts !
- Boo (10/5): Dubrovnik is beautiful particularly within the old city walls. This is the perfect accommodation to stay to enjoy the at - We were the first guests at this stunning building conversion within the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik. Not only was the property extremely comfortable and well equipped, but the owners Antonella and Toni were extremely helpful and friendly.
Accessing the property requires the ability to navigate the steps of the old city.
We can’t wait to stay here again in due course. Nothing.
