- Antoine (8/5): An apparemment very convenient with a good value for money, which is perfect if you need something simple to enjoy the n - The apartment owner is very VERY kind and attentive. He will make sure you feel comfortable! The apartment is equipped with all the essentials. The bedroom is separate from the rest of the apartment (the bedroom is on one floor, and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom are on another). The beds are very comfortable. The windows offer a beautiful view of the mountains, and there are also great viewpoints in the street. Nature is very close to the apartment—just a few minutes' walk to be surrounded by it and see wild animals! The apartment has a washing machine (old but functional) and a modern TV. There are shops with quality products in the neighborhood (including a very, very good bakery!). There are bus stops near the apartment (SUBE lines A and B). The drawbacks are mostly about comfort or extras, it’s nothing major. It’s not luxury, however with this appartement you’ll still have everything you need to enjoy Ushuaïa! A microwave would have been convenient (I thought I saw one in the photos), but it’s not essential since the apartment has everything you need for cooking. The apartment is located at the top of a hill, so walking back from grocery shopping can be tiring (especially if you're carrying a lot of water bottles, as in Ushuaia it's recommended not to drink tap water frequently). However, this isn’t an issue if you have a car! The shower can be a bit temperamental—sometimes the water is very hot, and sometimes very cold. You can find the right setting for a good temperature, but it might take a few tries. The apartment has Wi-Fi, but the connection can sometimes be unstable. There was a bit of dust in the apartment, but nothing too serious.
