Guest Reviews
- Sol (9/5): convenient and overall quite nice - the location, the room itself, it’s accessibility the shower pressure isn’t the best, a couple hairs on the bed here and there
- Lisa (8/5): Great location to explore Dubrovnik. - The location was amazing and very charming. Nothing, we enjoyed our stay.
- Bella (9/5): -
- Rian (9/5): Heerlijk comfortabel resetten in de oude binnenstad, heerlijk. - De sfeer en faciliteiten, echt top! De bedden vond ik iets te zacht.

- cindy (10/5): - Loved the bed and duvet... Super comfortable. In old town just a few steps to navigate. Very nice. Nothing
- Rebecca (9/5): - Great location, right in the heart of the old city. A good sized place with everything needed for a short stay. Comfy beds and clean. Kitchenette had kettle, coffee maker and fridge. Key collection was super easy using a key box and the host was friendly and helpful on WhatsApp. Noisy! There is a restaurant just below the bedroom window and at 6am one morning some kind of construction work took place. The beds are two singles in large frames push together so there is a gap between them. The cleaner tried to get into the apartment at 10.20am when check out was 10.30am.
- Agnieszka (10/5): Would be back - Perfect apartment, top location, and above all, a great host. I'll be back :)
- GABRIELA SCHROPP (8/5): - La ubicación, el trato de Ismail, la limpieza. Un poco dificultoso para desayunar y poder sentarse. Por estar todo en la misma habitación
- Jose Dindo (10/5): Great value for a short and enjoyable vacation. - Location. It at the heart of the Old Town. Ismael, the owner, is very accommodating. He checks and asks if you need anything. He also recommended great places to see and experience around Dubronvik.
- miguel (9/5): Great location, too early check out but very responsive host - Easy to check in and amazing location. The room was clean and had some coffee pods for just a simple coffee, which was great Check out was ridiculously early (10:30am!), unfortunately this seems to be a trend post-covid. I asked if it could be slightly later for which the owner was nice and let me...otherwise it would have been a 10 rating
- KIMON (9/5): - Η τοποθεσία ειναι τέλεια στο κέντρο της πόλης εύκολη πρόσβαση και ιδανική για τις μετακινησεις μέσα και έξω απο την πόλη
- Peter (7/5): We were there on the off season. Hopefully things are better in the summer. If you have a bad back, one of the 2 beds - The location and the effort the owner put in to decorate it. There was no toilet paper or bath soap when we got there. The bed next to the door was very uncomfortable. The mattress sagged in the middle. The 2 white rugs by the bed looked years old. The lobby and stairs were filthy, Probably not the responsibility of the bnb manager. The apartment itself was very clean.
- Sarah (6/5): Great for no more than 2 nights. - The washing machine was great and the provided drying rack was perfect. The place is a fabulous location for a night or two -there's really no reason to stay in the city longer than that and you'd want more chair options by then. The beds are very comfortable and the tv works well. The bathroom has a heavy mildew odor and you can see mold around the base of the shower. Much of the kitchen cups and dishes are up high so if you're short and not traveling with a tall person you'll struggle. The water pressure in the shower is non existent. But the kitchen sink has all the pressure. It's loud. The windows don't block out much noise and hey it's an old building that's fine but the city prepares for the day very early in the morning so you hear carts and heavy wheels on the stone roads by 5am.

- Laura (6/5): Central apartment if you’re happy to have the noise - Spacious apartment.
Washing machine with washing powder supplied.
Little kitchenette with wine glasses, coffee machine, kettle & fridge.
Very close to Pile Gate I sleep like the dead but the street was extremely noisy - bins being collected, bottles clanging & noisy chats. I appreciate the city needs to re-set for the next day but this starts very early!
Personally, I would recommend staying outside of the Old Town & sucking up the commute in. That, or bring ear plugs or headphones!
The apartment was clean(ish) but is quite tired & needs a revamp.
Shower was a bit dribbly but had hot water when needed.
There are 2 separate single beds, 1 was very squeaky everytime you moved.
However, if you want to close to everything then the location is great
- Maureen (10/5): A lovely end to our 3 week trip through Croatia. - Room was right in old town so everything was at your doorstep. The beds were comfortable and there was explanations for wifi and how to work the TV. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. Host was lovely and always answered our messages quickly. Dubrovnik is a cruise stop so expect a lot of people (we went near the end of September thinking the season was winding down but it seems to be October now!)
- Robert (8/5): Location Location Location for a beautiful castle stay with everything within walking distance. - Location location location. This room is up the stairs from a shop in the dead center of the Dubrovnik castle. You walk out to restaurants andh shops galore. The host did everthing through email to include keys in a lockbox and provided some suggestions. The room was nice and comfortable with a bonuse washing machine to wash swimming suits. Don't forget to bring a mini step ladder to get into the bathtub show and don't expect good water pressure for the hot water. That and the fact that at 0500-0700 each morning the city staff collect the beer bottles and trash from the restaurants and shops were a tad frustrating but acceptable as the Dubrovnik are is kept immaculate for tourists. The last thing I could complain about is the beds have older headboard and footboards that any time you turned, rolled over or moved like to squeek and let everyone in the room know you are in the room.

- Edwards (8/5): - Lovely location, interesting design for the room Nothing
- mustafa (8/5): -
- Yvonne Marie (10/5): Great location! - The location is exceptional! The host was very helpful. He even helped with our bags up the stairs! He can also reserve taxis and tours. The rubber bath mat inside the tub has not been cleaned. They need to take it out to clean.
- Terezie (10/5): -
- R (8/5): Pleasant stay - Very nice staff, very friendly and good I think it is a bit noise outside
- Carla (10/5): Fabulous place! - Style, amenities, location. It was a cool place. Great restaurant for breakfast right at the stairs.
- Rayan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geraldine (8/5): Well positioned and spacious - Great location in the old town and spacious with separate, well stocked kitchen area and large bathroom with washing machine. The water pressure in the shower was very weak and our beds not overly comfortable
- Kate (10/5): Wonderful! - The location was perfect in the old town. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I would definitely be telling my friends to stay here! Nothing, I liked it all!
- Ewelina (10/5): Awesome place - Great place for a short stay, it couldn't be any closer to the city centre;) Host sent us a precise instruction about check in/out and precious tips where to go/eat. The furniture was very climatic - wooden and old but could be more solid, the curtain bar felt on us just being touched and the beds creaked. But that's just small inconvenience.
- Patti (6/5): Pleasant - The location can't be beat. Ismail is friendly and helpful and available for all of your needs The location of the apartment is both good and bad. The bad part is that it is right above the alley where a restaurant is located and it is very noisy. The windows have no ability to keep any sound out. Maybe they don't close all of the way. It may be that everywhere in the town is noisy. I don't know.
Also, my mattress was 3" thick and worn out so my back was unhappy. The beds had only 1 sheet over the top. Luckily I found comforters in a container under the bed
- Anna (8/5): Very good - The location is great, very close to all tourist attractions. Our host was very helpful and responded quickly to the messages. Room was clean, it has everything we needed. We couldn’t use coffee machine because the capsules were incompatible - but this was minor issue ;)
- Jagoda (10/5): This accommodation made our stay in Dubrovnik even better! - Very comfy, clean and great located room, equipped with all necessary things. Highly recommended! The host - Ismail welcomed us and gave us all important informations, travel tips and restaurant recommendations :) great experience and nothing to complain about!
- Gill (9/5): Superb - Central location. Comfortable.
- Eve (7/5): Enjoyed location - Location was great. Lacks amenities like pods for Nespresso machine, no dish towel, no Kitchen sponge, no luggage racks or raised flat surface to accommodate luggage. A few inexpensive accommodations would make space more comfortable.
- Angela (10/5): Loved the ambience. Very special -
- Thomas (10/5): Great short stay accommodation right in the centre of things - It’s immaculate and central Could do with a shower curtain and therefore somewhere to hook the shower head please
- Bachtiar (7/5): Good -
- Katherine (10/5): A lovely unique flat in the old town - Perfect location, friendly host, unique design.
A rather small flat but definitely good size for a solo traveler or a couple!
A rather spacious and cute bathroom with a washing machine.
AC was working great which is crucial during hot Croatian summers. The beds were a bit too soft to my liking. Also, they are pretty short so if you are a tall person this property may not be for you.
The shower didn't have a shower curtain so you always end up with a bit of water around the
- Robert (1/5): Awful experience, photos are not accurate, bad customer service, couldn’t stay here. - This property was misrepresented on booking, it’s nothing like the photos, horribly small, there’s no AC, it was difficult to find. I could not stay there, left immediately, requested a refund which was not given. Highway robbery at its finest, don’t stay here!
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location and the fridge and coffee machine was very useful. So too the washing machine. Not a big fan of the bath/shower setup.
- Eden (10/5): Lovely experience in the heart of Dubrovnik old town. - Great location, nice layout. Good support from hosts. Easy independent checkout.
- Razvan (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy, clean, fantastic position The beds a little too short for me but I am very tall
