• LESLEY (3/5): Disappointing - Apt is v central, directly opposite the train station. You can see the train tracks when you open the door. There is a small damp patch with some mould coming thru the ceiling in front room & dehumdifiers placed throughout the apt. We were only staying 1 night so not a huge deal on this occasion. The front bedroom door also doesn't close, if privacy is needed. The one thing that really marred our experience was being woken at 8am by noise of workmen, who after noisily brushing the ground right outside bedroom window & waking us, then proceeded to put down really strong bleach, the smell of which soon started to seep strongly thru the apt, making our eyes weep. I usually like the smell of bleach, but this was extremely overpowering & we checked out early because of this, therefore having breakfast in a cafe instead of the apt. I contacted the owner who said they didn't know this was going to be happening & apologised. Its a pity this work couldn't have happened after check out time of 11am. I was also 'told off' via tel call shortly after our arrival for opening the back door & asking about access via this route, despite the key for the back door being in the lock & a note beside the door to say to return mops etc (stored in a cupboard outside) if these are used. I wd suggest to keep door locked & not have the key available if this area is out of bounds.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Good value holiday property, modern and well equipped in popular Portrush - Owners communicated well so access easy. Flat clean, tidy and well equipped. Beds comfortable, bathroom modern, clean and shower very good. Well located within easy walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. Good value for money. On main road but bedrooms quiet as both to the back of the property. No private parking, but we did not have a problem parking on the road. High season might be different? Not much outside space if you need that.

• Nathan (7/5): Great location and good value for money - Great location ? Minutes from Barry's (curry's) Changed arrival time without and issue. On arrival the keypad to enter was not working. Easily sorted with lock box and key. Was a bit noisy at night could hear every car drove past. On the Sunday morning it was very heavy rain and the windows did start leaking. Could see they have had an issue with leaks before and had obviously tried to repair.

• Rhonda (7/5): - Beautiful apartment and great location. The guests staying above us were noisy. I do understand that this comes with the territory when staying in an apartment building. But it was difficult to sleep and I would probably not choose this flat again based on that reason. Everything else was really good. The flat is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable in every other respect.

• Helen (6/5): Lovely base to use for sightseeing - The location was great, parking was easy lovely pub 2 minutes away serving great food The dehumidifier had to be ran and emptied twice a day and the rooms still felt a little damp. No freezer .

• Sarah (6/5): Fine but needs improvements - The location was excellent and the decor was nice and homely. It was very easy to get in and the facilities were good e.g. iron and ironing board, hairdryer, appliances etc. The host was responsive and pleasant and the info pack was useful. It was value for money for a four person apartment. The property is in need of a deep clean. There are lots of cobwebs and dust, particularly under the beds which I only realised when I dropped something (there were tissues and socks etc under one of the beds). The little yard also needs cleaned as there are cigarette ends, litter etc out there. We didn't sleep well as the people staying above stomped around their apartment all night - this is obviously outside of the host's control but it might be worth trying to address that somehow.

Beds where very comfortable bedding was not ironed and dust and dirt behind beds and lockers , not properly cleaned .tv was terrible only free view .Heating was electric so Had to turn off when leaving so coming back in month of January on a evening out place was cold .

My fave part was the kitchen. It had everything i needed. They even provided cleaning products including laundry detergebt. Wifi was very good. Location as well. 100 yards from the Portrush Train Station, which is opposite the Quays Bar & Gastropub where they held Karaoke Night when we were there. Next door to the bar is a takeaway shop. Cathy our host was accommodating and organised. Responds swiftly to questions. Nothing.
• Houston (5/5): Passable - Perfectly lovely apartment clean tidy and worth the money. Host was very accommodating. Would book the apartment again if it was just for me and the wife. The people upstairs were very noisy, my kids didn't feel well and wouldn't sleep, so we cut our stay short on the first night and headed home, didn't stay the 2nd night.

The smaller bedroom door didn't close properly and the bathroom radiator didnt seem to work, some toiletries or shower condiments would've added to the experience but that's really all. A great apartment!
