Taxi charged £10 each way to and from Mythe Barn.
We couldn’t fault it , if ever we are in the area again we would certainly revisit.
Thank you to all. Everything was perfect 😊
- Sally (10/5): Great stay - Lovely fresh breakfast
- Priscilla (7/5): Good place to stay for Atherstone - The location was lovely. It's a beautifully preserved old property with plenty of character. Stunning dining room where we had breakfast.
Great to also see a place with a resident dog! We both found the mattress on the bed quite hard, and uncomfortable to sleep on.
Breakfast options for vegetarians were limited, at the very least it would have been good to have a veggie sausage or avocado and eggs option.
- Jackie (8/5): Enjoyable comfortable great facilities delicious breakfast - The owners made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a central location in Atherstone, very convenient. It has a beautifully kept garden and an elegant dining room. The power shower is very impressive and worth a shout out. They catered for our dietary requirements - I am gluten free and my husband is dairy free. The breakfast was delicious - I had kipper and haddock while my spouse enjoyed bacon mushrooms black pudding and fried bread. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Nothing could be improved.
- Carl (10/5): Amazing hotel, excellent hosts, spotless clean - Excellent stay..owners are great hosts , anything you need is no problem.
Spotlessly clean and lovely hotel.
Stylish and furnished to a very high standard.
We will be visiting again Everything was great
- Graham (7/5): A quiet, well run and somewhat quirky guest house with an old world charm to it. - The food is first class, and served with silver service and a smile. There was a large choice at breakfast and plenty of it. The evening meal was a 'fish special event' and it was all delicious.
The gardens are lovely and the rooms are very quiet. There was no central heating on despite the cool weather, and the electric heater provided did not heat the shower/toilet unless you left the door wide open. The bed was comfy but the chairs needed upholstering and new cushions, so I can't give it 10/10, but the food was excellent and so were the staff. I would go there again.
- Daniel (10/5): Terrific stay, very kind and helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast in the morning! - Staff were very pleasant, helpful and flexible in meeting our requests as we had travelled to attend a wedding and they kindly ensured the rooms for ready for 11am.
- Mike (8/5): B&B with gourmet food at a fair price - Nice quiet location next to the church. The room was very large albeit dated.
The dinner and breakfast were fantastic and the hosts extremely warm and friendly. Nothing really but Atherstone itself not a particularly attractive town except for the large square in front of the of the property.

The shower is great and really powerful.
You pre-order breakfast and when we came down to eat, it was delicious and freshly cooked per our order.
The owners are very friendly and made us feel comfortable. We are tempted to come to the area again as it looked like there were a few nice places to eat out and places to explore and if we were to come back we would definitely stay here. Nothing
- Gercosteenbergen (8/5): Very good -
- Helen (8/5): Very pleasant, great hosts but cold - Chapel house was a pleasant stay with a lovely breakfast. we were greeted by the owners who were lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was dated but in keeping with the property’s decor. Breakfast was great value for money. We enjoyed cooked breakfasts all to our liking and the hosts were very kind in making sure that we were well fed and watered. It was very cold. We do appreciate that times are hard and people do not want to put their heating on. The hosts provided electric heaters around the property but when we returned form our outing to sleep the room was so cold. Once the heater was on it was more pleasant. It was the same for breakfast.
- Lesley (9/5): Superb - The food was exceptional. Dinner was perfect and the breakfast excellent nothing
- Simon (10/5): great experience: highly recommended - great dog friendly place
staff very friendly
great breakfast nothing
