Shona (10/5): Fabulous villa, with stunning views. Very relaxing. - This is the second year running that we have stayed at Falcon Villa. The property is gorgeous with beautiful and spacious bedrooms, plus everything you could possibly need for your stay in the kitchen area. The views over to Spinalonga Island and the surrounding area are stunning and it's very peaceful and relaxing up on the hill, although I would say a car is a necessity for going out at night etc unless you're very fit!! Christine is very attentive without being at all intrusive. Plaka village is perfect, very pretty with enough restaurants to serve all tastes. Lovely holiday was had by all. Nothing.
Shona (10/5): Fabulous, loved everything about the villa, the view, Plaka village and the surrounding area. - Everything!! The villa is absolutely beautiful and the views from the villa are stunning for 360 degrees. Falcon villa is a gorgeous modern villa, which was spotlessly clean and had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage room, nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything that you could possible need if you want to cook there, but there are plenty of nice tavernas in Plaka itself as well as Elounda, which is only another 10 minutes down the road via a beautiful coastal road. I would say that a car is a must if you want to get out and about around the area as there are so many lovely places to visit (and Plaka is a LONG walk down a steep hill) although with the amazing view from the villa, its hard to make yourself leave there. Christine was a great host, always available to answer any questions but not at all intrusive. The layout of the villa, with each room being separately accessed from the outside only, was fine for us as adults, but I would want to be aware of this if I had small children as you would have to lock them into the bedroom at night or have them lock themselves in. This was definitely one of our favourite villas that we've ever stayed in and we will certainly be back. Having to go home!!
