Guest Reviews
- kevin (10/5): - Davey was more than nice, very approachable for anything we needed to know.
- Murga (1/5): You have to be careful with these people, because you can end up on the street hoping that you have a reservation and yo - I paid and arrived on time as agreed. They didn't let me into the apartment and told me to return the money. They returned the money a week later.
- Tilly (9/5): Superb - We didn't necessarily need a breakfast so opted for this property as it was close to where we needed to be early the next day. Location was excellent for Moira restaurants and bars, plus Balmoral show which was the purpose of our stay.
Property was super clean. Host is top notch and super helpful. A very small utility area would have been useful as we were leaving early and would have brought our own cerial or some toast, but this wasn't a deal breaker.
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - We booked this place last minute due to a cancelled flight. The hosts were very accommodating. He even came to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered to go to the shop for us. They also offer to some services at very reasonable costs, like trips to the airport and getting shopping etc We arrived late, so we didn't really see what was in the area, but it didn't seem very central. I would imagine that you'd need transport if you were staying for a while.
- Jonathan (10/5): Good stay, worth every penny. Nicely decorated house with nice touches like free water and chocolates - Nice guy, helpful and good value for money! N/A
- John (10/5): Short stay in Moira - Warm and comfortable with a welcome from the owner 😊
Nice to have a bathtub and shower choice Some road noise but didn't spoil anything
Would benefit from a cooker as well as a microwave
- Simon (10/5): Perfect for our regular visits. Will definitely use again. - Clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. Also close to the M1. Just a small thing, the fridge in the lounge didn’t get cold.
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheils (10/5): Great unique spot - This wee find was a last minute need to stay. And it was exactly what I needed as a solo female traveller.
Really loved the quirky bike passion and the atmosphere that obviously part of Davey own individual side with his bike shop next door...
But for someone not interested in bikes I really caught the vision and the feel for the entire inside decor and the surrounding grounds in my short stay.
It all felt unique and special.
Davey the owner was very helpful I couldn't fault him.
He gave tour and explained all tech to me, heating, TV etc
Plenty of water and juice stocked in fridge that I did need. So that was good.
He searched out a charger of his own to lend which was really helpful.
Davey is there if you need him and then leaves you to it which suited me really well.
Read his material on the home and he offers lifts locally and more for a fee.
I didn't need that but handy to know.
So I had my own room, bathroom, and living room and dining area,
If I'd have known I'd have brought things to light the beautiful fire.
It's absolutely stunning.
- Ann (9/5): A tidy, clean spacious stay. The Host Davy was friendly, helpful and polite and only a phone call away. - The space and cleanliness.the closeness to Belfast airport.. Host leaving a chocolate box.. The lack of a kettle for a cuppa.
- Tom (9/5): Top class hosting. - Big space, massive lounge, big bathroom, comfy bed. Absolutely excellent hosting from Davey who sorted me right out. Do make sure to pop into the Aladin's Cave of a bike shop next door. Davey knows motorbikes and has a fascinating collection of them in the shop. Some road noise.
