• Sonia (10/5): Logement exceptionnel - J’ai passé un séjour absolument merveilleux au Shamar Lodge à la Providence. Dès mon arrivée, Martin m’a accueilli avec une gentillesse et une disponibilité incroyables. Il se soucie vraiment que tout se passe pour le mieux pendant le séjour, tout en respectant totalement notre intimité et notre indépendance. Le lodge est un véritable petit bijou : les chambres sont confortables et impeccables, l’ambiance est paisible et authentique, et la vue sur l’île et la nature environnante est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Chaque détail montre le soin et l’attention portés par Martin pour que ses visiteurs se sentent comme chez eux. Les chambres disposent également d’une petite cuisine avec tout le nécessaire. Martin est hyper disponible et attentif : il donne d’excellentes recommandations sur les sites à visiter et les activités à ne pas manquer, peut organiser des sorties ou réserver des activités selon nos envies, et a même réservé un taxi pour mon départ à l’aéroport. Ce qui rend son accueil encore plus chaleureux, c’est qu’il prend toujours le temps de demander si nous avons bien dormi ou si tout se passe bien, tout en restant discret et respectueux de notre intimité. Le Shamar Lodge bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal : juste à côté de la plage Almond Bay, à quelques minutes du meilleur centre de plongée de l’île, et très proche de l’aéroport ainsi que des autres plages de l’île. C’est le point de départ parfait pour explorer la Providence et profiter pleinement de ses merveilles. Que ce soit pour se détendre, explorer l’île ou profiter d’un moment calme au lodge, tout est pensé pour un séjour parfait. Je recommande vivement Shamar Lodge à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la Providence dans un cadre chaleureux, intimiste et authentique. • Natalia (10/5): Gran lugar para relajarse y hospedarse en Providencia - Martín y su familia son seres humanos hermosos y generosos. Son atentos y están pendientes de ti y de recomendarte experiencias en la isla! Tuve un accidente de moto el primer día y no solo estuvieron pendientes de mí todo el tiempo y del bienestar mío y de mi pareja, sino que nos ayudaron a conseguir muletas y a conseguir un transporte para el resto de la estadía. Una estancia que recordaremos siempre ❤️ Gracias!!

• Anais (10/5): - Martin était un hote exceptionnel ! Attentif à ses clients et mettant.tout en œuvre pour répondre à nos besoins.
• Maria (9/5): Séjour agréable et serein - Vous réservez plus qu'une chambre à Shamar Lodge, c'est plutôt un service de conciergerie qui fera tout pour que vous profitiez de votre séjour et que vous connaissiez l'île sous toutes ses coutures. La vue était géniale et les hôtes sont aux petits soins avec vous. Si vous êtes plutôt indépendant et débrouillard, les hôtes vous laissent en toute liberté, mais ils sont réactifs à la moindre question, c'est l'équilibre idéal pour un séjour autonome dans un établissement local en toute sérénité. Ce n'est pas inhérent au logement, mais le logement peut paraître un peu loin de certaines parties de l'île pour ceux qui n'aiment pas marcher, cela dit, cela garantit des plages peu visitées et propres :).

• Argitxu (10/5): Hogar en Providencia, remanso de paz. Fin de viaje perfecto - No podemos poner un 20 a este alojamiento porque no hay. Nada más llegar supimos que estábamos en casa, y que esos días serían estupendos, y asi fue. El alojamiento es genial, cama doble cómoda, espaciosa, el baño grande y cocina bien equipada para cocinar, y el aire acondicionado tan necesario en el Caribe. Y qué decir de la hospitalidad y atencion de Martín, para cualquier cosa ahi estaba pendiente. Alquilamos moto con él y fue lo mejor. Y tambien te aconseja tanto de excursiones como de sitios donde comer bien. No podemos estar mas felices. Providencia y Shamar Lodge nos ha enamorado.

• Elisa (10/5): - Per tutto il soggiorno, e anche prima di arrivare quando abbiamo avuto problemi con l’aereo, Martin è stato gentilissimo.. si è reso disponibile in caso di necessità di prenderci lui stesso il volo per arrivare. Appena arrivati ci ha dato informazioni sull’isola e ci ha procurato una moto (indispensabile per girare al meglio l’isola). Si è reso disponibile anche per prenotarci le escursioni se ne avevamo bisogno. Posizione ottima, vicinissimo ad Almond beach, spiaggia poco battuta, ma molto carina. Vicino comunque a tutto, l’isola è piccola e con la moto si arriva bene ovunque! Consiglio vivamente!
• Mehdi (9/5): - Avant tout, la gentillesse de Martin, qui fait vraiment tout pour nous faciliter la vie et qu'on se sente bien dans l'île. Il nous a aidé pour la location de la voiturette, pour trouver des prestataires pour des excursions en bateau. Vraiment incroyable ! Le confort de la chambre, avec air conditionné. La proximité de la mignonne plage Almond Bay. Le manque de mobilier pour ranger nos affaires.
• Santiago (10/5): - Muy buena ubicación, habitación muy amplia, iluminada y limpia. Martin es un gran anfitrión, muy colaborador, estuvimos 2 semanas y nos ayudo con todo. 100% recomendada
• Ana (8/5): Estancia cómoda. - Lo mejor del alojamiento es Martín, muy atento a todo. Era amplio, aunque en la cocina faltaban elementos importantes como algún trapo de cocina. El wifi no siempre funcionaba. Imprescindible moto para moverte por la isla, aunque Martín tb alquila.

Martin, the host, was very helpful and was always available if I had any questions or needed tips. Highly recommend this place!

• Claes (10/5): Relaxing, clean, good views and nice vibe - I had a very good time here. The room was large and modern. The AC works perfectly. Martin was attentive and often asked how things were. Conveniently they had a motorbike of good quality for rent. He also helped by picking me up an evening when I was further away, and drove me to airport on his bike. There is a small nice beach close by. I prolonged several times with more nights.

• Andreea (9/5): Superb - the owner was very nice , he helped us and washed our clothes for free, also was available all the time and gave us recommnedations ; helped us to rent a golf car at a good price, it was clean and the view amazing . there is a bit of noise in the morning from the neighbour's chickens

• Katharina (10/5): Exceptional - 100% recommendation. We stayed at Shamar Lodge for almost 3 weeks and felt right at home. The apartment is brand new, has very good air conditioning in the room and there is the possibility to cook (fridge, 2 hotplates and kitchen utensils are available). Everything is super clean and the room is cleaned regularly. The location is perfect, you can walk to Almond Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island). A great diving school is also right in the neighborhood and within walking distance. The other beaches and bays can be reached quickly by scooter. Martin and Sasha, the owners of the lodge, are incredibly helpful. There is probably no better service. They are both super attentive and do everything they can to make their guests feel at home. They were always available and supported us, whether we were looking for a guide for a hike, wanted to rent a scooter or hire bikes. We have taken Martin and Sasha to our hearts and would always come back to Shamar Lodge!

• Max (10/5): Best rental house I’ve ever stayed in - We had an incredible time - everything about the house was perfect. Martin and Sacha were honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, always checking in with us and making sure we had a great time here. They provided a daily cleaning, mopeds to use and even washed all our clothes. The house couldn’t have been better - it had a great location with a beach just opposite and all the facilities you could need. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Nothing
• Ludwig (10/5): Very nice, clean and relaxing appartement! - We really enjoyed the accommodation. Because everything was very clean, there was enough space and a balcony with a nice view. Everything that we needed was there a kitchen, bathroom, TV, AC and comfortable beds. Sasha and Martin are also the nicest hosts and very helpful, we were greeted with a welcome drink and they explained everything about the island with recommendations.
