Guest Reviews
- Kay (9/5): Comfortable stay in a beautiful, cosy cottage close to Bakewell centre. - Lovely cosy cottage in a great position with easy walking distance to the village centre yet has a beautiful dry stone wall and fields behind where we could see a barn owl hunting at dusk. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There was a nice, enclosed seating area at the back. The house was full of character. A bit awkward for parking (had to park on the road a wee bit of a walk up the hill) as you might expect for such an old property.
- Gail (4/5): - Walking distance to Bakewell town centre. Clean and tidy. Good beds. Toilet flush was hard to work. Boiler was leaking so had to keep emptying bowl but not advice from owners. Bath v worn so didn’t feel relaxing to use. No instructions for heating that kept coming on in the night when we didn’t want it to which resulted in being woken up. Parking on the road was really rough as very little space so not as easy as expected.
- Paul (7/5): - Un beau logis bien équipé et confortable Difficulté d’accès et parking
- Natalie (8/5): - Great location. Comfortable and nice outdoor space. N/a

- Sarah (8/5): We enjoyed our stay, in spite of the very cold wind. The scenery is outstanding. I highly recommend Bakewell as a base t - Cosy cottage and quiet location. Within walking distance of Bakewell. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Parking was a little tricky. Finding a suitable space on the main road. The private lane was tricky to negotiate and when we were leaving, a large van virtually blocked even pedestrian access and we had to squeeze around the side ducking greenery with our luggage. The toilet flush was frustrating.
- Sian (7/5): Had a very nice few days in a cosy cottage that allowed for easy access to Bakewell town, Chatsworth - Comfy bed, closeness to town center, quiet, character No parking outside cottage
- Emily (10/5): Beautiful weekend stay - We had a fantastic stay at Peake Cottage , the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special.
The cottage was absolutely beautiful, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
We didn’t have any issues with location or parking, instructions were clear and handy.
Bakewell it self is a beautiful little village with lots of shops , restaurants and pubs all walking distance.
My mother had the best 60th birthday thankyou so much. N/A
- Ian (5/5): Great location but house in need of refurbishing. No parking which is problematic. We won’t be staying here again. - Located close to town centre. Bedrooms were cosy & modern. Car parking is a real problem, even trying to park on main road is severely restricted.
The bathroom is in tiny, in need of refurbishing. Shower is useless.
Kitchen is also in need of replacement.
Overall the house needs a lot of work doing on it.
Photos on website are misleading.
- Tom (9/5): Lovely - Great location and lovely little cottage ! Perfect for a weekend away and Bakewell was a lovely place too! N/a
- Jayne (9/5): Ideal location for visiting area, comfortable cozy and welcoming. - Lovely location, short walk into Bakewell although uphill coming back. Smashing warm cozy cottage with everything that we needed for a couple of nights. Nothing
- Middleton (10/5): -
- John (9/5): -
- Charlotte (7/5): Lovely break with friends. Warm and cosy cottage. - Some instructions on the toilet flush could be useful. It was a little tricky to get the hand of.
It was very busy Friday when we arrived and parking nearby on the road was difficult.
- Graham (10/5): -
- Maureen (8/5): Lovely place to stay - Very comfortable, clean and cosy Having to unload and park the car on the main road, which we did know about before to be fair
- Angela (10/5): Lovely cottage in a great area. Highly recommend - Everything, it was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay Nothing
- sarah (10/5): Fantastic stay, beautiful characterful property and would highly recommended! - Peak cottage was perfect for our little new years getaway, it had everything we needed from a lovely gas fire to warm the living room to a fully equipped kitchen to cook our New Year’s Day roast! It was beautifully clean and comfortable and not too far from Bakewell centre, the view from the front bedroom is beautiful especially when we woke up to a smattering of snow! I would 100% recommend this property! The parking was a little tricky with most of the main road being single yellows, we did manage to find spaces either up or down the road only a matter of minutes away really.
- Bull (9/5): Stay here if you want a characterful cosy cottage with close walking proximity to Bakewell - The house was superbly situated to Bakewell (pubs, shops, restuarants, walks) and White Peak regions. The terraced cottage itself, although small in footprint, is characterful and felt spacious and well optimised to get up to six guests (couples or older kids that don't mind sharing beds). It was attractively decorated, clean and tidy and we especially liked that it had a few Christmas Decs up to make our visit festive. Kitchen well equipped and although the bathroom small for a group of six it was perfectly set up and met our requirements without issue. The living space was lovely and provision of games and books great for a longer stay. Garden with view and back yard for bbq wasn't used as Winter but appreciated as a great feature. The description was accurate. I wouldn't recommend property to anyone with where stairs, mobility are an issue but that is made clear in description. Parking was a concern but we easily parked just 2 mins from the house up hill and location felt safe to leave vehicles.
- Janelle (10/5): We loved our stay in the beautiful cottage in the beautiful Bakewell . And the little extra touches at Christmas we wond - This property is so lovely and well equipped and in a fabulous location just a short walk to Bakewell Parking was a little difficult some days - but still just a short walk
- Laura (10/5): Beautiful place, just perfect. - The owners of the property were so accommodating and decorated the cottage for Christmas, which topped our wee trip off.
Lovely property, beautiful location, lovely Christmas 🎄 Bakewell is beautiful and the location of the cottage is a stones throw away from the shops and restaurants ☺️no complaints from us and will definitely book again.
- Michelle (10/5): Beautiful cosy, clean, warm cottage with everything you could need for a lovely stay. - Lovely and cosy and warm. Very clean. Quirky little cottage. With everything we needed for a family of 5 adults. We stayed in December so didn’t really use the outside areas. But the views we did see were beautiful. The parking. This was a bit of an issue as it states on road parking. But there are yellow lines restricting where you can and can’t park. Very limited spaces. We had to park a good walk away in pouring down rain. So if you have walking difficulties it’s quite a walk. You are ok to drive up to the cottage to off load but it is a very tight squeeze to get back out. Luckily I was in a
Mini.
Having said all of the above. Please don’t take this as a negative. I am merely being honest. The parking didn’t hinder us having a fabulous stay. 😀
- Ruth (8/5): Great stay with my sisters to celebrate a big birthday. Cosy. - Lovely old cottage in a beautiful setting. Really comfy beds Bathroom is a bit tight
- Mclelland (10/5): - Location is brill, just at the edge of town easy walking distance. Very clean and comfy and has everything you'd want in a home plus a little bit more. The views from upstairs to the Bakewell hills is fantastic, absolutely lovely cottage a very happy stay, Thnx Peak cottage. N/A
- Bryan C (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable, would stay again. - Back door sticking and needed to lock the front door to keep it closed as door catch not working properly.
- Beverley (8/5): quiet, warm and comfortable cottage in a great location. - great location and plenty of room. tricky parking and no bottle opener!
Floors a little dirty under chairs
- Hannah (8/5): Great value, quiet, cosy and warm. - Great value. Dog friendly! Thanks for letting us bring the dogs last minute. Walk down the hill to the town is fine, way back a little arduous. Nice hot water. Good kitchen amenities. Quiet spot lovely view from the top. The lack of parking is a downside when you have a lot to bring in/out. Be good to have some footstools to make the lounge more comfy but it’s a bit tight. Bath taps/plug need fixing. Not big enough for 3 couples but 2/3 friends who don’t mind the shared bathroom access arrangement is fine, I’d book again.
- Ellen (10/5): We met the owner nick , a face to the place , a lovely man. - Very clean, it was very comfortable overall a beautiful little cottage, everything we needed and more. There was nothing to dislike about the property,
- Kate (8/5): Pretty, cosy cottage - Cosy cottage in a great location just a short walk from beautiful Bakewell town centre. Lovely views over the fields on both sides of the cottage. Pretty furnishings especially the bedrooms, everything we needed for a short stay, comfy beds. We found a place to park on a road nearby. Jack and Jill bathroom is a bit unusual (not an issue for us as 2 good friends staying in only 2 of the 3 bedrooms.)
- Carol (7/5): - Good location only 10 minute walk from
Centre of town Walk back to property was uphill
- Bridget (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyable - Close proximity to town centre. Cottage very clean. Lovely & quiet. Excellent communication with owners. Really comfy beds. Well appointed. Loved that tea, coffee & milk were provided along with a few snacks & treats. Toilet cistern took an age to fill up which made flushing the loo difficult & stressful. May be helpful to change cistern.
Need instructions for heating & fire. Information in guest manual scarce.
A town map & tourist leaflets would be useful.
- Tracey (8/5): Reallly nice little cottage in a great location. - The appearance and location Bathroom situation. Could do with a different layout or another toilet added somewhere else I. The property
- Laura Melissa (9/5): Beautiful small cottage on the outskirts of town - Very comfortable, the living room is very nice and they have a fully equipped kitchen. Closer than we thought to Bakewell, it’s at most a short 5 minute walk. The instructions for the check in were clear and easy. We had a very nice time and are definitely satisfied Shower was a bit complicated, we couldn’t figure out how it worked at first. You are supposed to pull on a string that is behind the shower, can’t be turned on or off from inside. Instructions would have cleared the issue
- Andy (9/5): Ideal for explorers - Good location, lovely homely feeling to the cottage, enclosed courtyard so good with the dogs. Bathroom a little awkward with dual access, but not a real issue.
- Robin (10/5): Perfect in every way - Peak Cottage is adorable. It is set back from the road behind other cottages and up against a lovely open field. The kitchen is terrific with everything you need.
The little living room is cozy and comfortable. When you go up a flight of stairs there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other a full/double size bed. Both bedrooms have access to the bathroom. The beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom has a tub and shower combo. Plenty of hot water!
Up another flight of stairs is an attic bedroom with a queen bed.
Nick was a fabulous host who provided exemplary service throughout our stay. He provided really good instructions for finding the cottage and the lockbox made it super easy to get in. We had a snafu with the cooktop (user error) and Nick swifly resolved the issue.
The cottage is about an 8 minute walk up from the center of Bakewell. Bakewell is perfect for a stay in the peak district. Its a short distance to Chatsworth House and the Peak District sightseers bus, which takes you all over the area stops in Bakewell..
I recommend Peak Cottage wholeheartedly!!
- Linda (10/5): Great location, comfortable and well equipped. - Very comfortable and well equipped. The location is excellent, only a short walk into Bakewell.
- Katie (9/5): Wonderful sleep - Lovely cottage. In a quite location but still very close to the centre of Bakewell. The house has everything you need. We had a wonderful night's sleep, the beds are incredibly comfortable. The toilet took a bit of time to refill ready to flush. No parking on site.
- Jane (8/5): Comfortable - Location was ideal and property very homely Cleanliness. Daughter found toenail clipping and hair in her bed so wouldn’t sleep in it the whole time we were there!
- Frances (8/5): Lovely place, clean and comfortable. would recommend - Characterful and comfortable Bathroom only accessible through a bedroom so limited privacy
- dok (9/5): -
- Joanne (7/5): Very good - Nice cottage good value I would have liked to know more about the access to the cottage
- Lucy (10/5): Perfect Peak Cottage in the best little town! Thank you, Nick! - The cottage is cute, clean, and very quaint. Perfect spot for us to visit Chatsworth house and spend time hiking in Bakewell.
- Matt (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (9/5): Lovely, cosy, and perfectly located for sightseeing! - We found it a lovely, cosy spot when we went there this past May! It was warm, welcoming, and nicely furnished when we entered inside. I loved how it was in short driving distance to both Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. It was even close by to Bakewell Town, so you could walk there if you wanted! A perfect getaway for the Peak District! Finding parking was a bit of an issue because it was on the main road, and there weren't many available spots, but thankfully, we were able to find one eventually, it was about 5 minutes away from where we were staying. The property was also a little hidden away and hard to find initially.
- Kylie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (7/5): Good - Comfy bed. Adequate kitchen facilities. Bathroom design 2 entrances.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Lovely cottage & lovely town. - Nice location. Cheaper than where we had stayed before, Great shower - warm & powerful. Perfect size for a family.
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional - Location and the 2 courtyards Only negative was shower above bath but still usable..be better with a small shower cubicle
- Andrew (8/5): Nice little cottage in a good location - Close to town centre Very small enclosed yard at rear
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Charlie (10/5): Incredible - Really quaint little cottage a stones throw from the centre of Bakewell. Clean with really comfy beds. Perfect for 3 friends enjoying a girly weekend away Nothing
- Colin (9/5): Comfortable and great location - Great location near to town centre
Very comfortable and cosy The third bedroom, only accessible through bedroom one
- Andrew (7/5): We had a good time , for just the two of us I would use again - Car parking and location was not great. I'm not sure if I missed this when I booked? It was ok for me and my wife . But we had someone with limited walking ability. Made worse by being on a steep hill. Car cannot park local to the house. Bathroom does not quite work and doors are problematic to it.
- Graham (8/5): It was a lovely stay. It's a nice cottage in a good location. - The location was good. The facility was well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen could do with a bit of modernising, which the owners had acknowledged in their notes.
Instructions were lacking for the TV and front room fire.
The patio area in the back garden was not very well maintained with dead plants and a little unclean.
- Frances (9/5): Superb - Used as a base for cycling for 2 days. Great location for that and also great for popping into town for food in the evenings . Would definitely stay again.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb - Being so close to Bakewell The weather
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - British atmosphere ad highest level, the cottage so cute in the middle of the Peak District.
A full immersion in the England countryside, I look forward to come back as soon as possible Everything was ok
- Joanna (8/5): We had a really good time and loved the cottage - So cosy and cute little cottage we had everything we needed. The heating was fantastic we were warm and cosy at all times without having to do anything. The rooms all had a very welcome feel and very comfortable. The kitchen well equipped with sugar, salt, pepper to hand. There was nothing we could not find to make our stay enjoyable. The bathroom was the only room that we felt needed updating. The shower needs modernising the water flow was poor and the temperature hit and miss. I couldn’t wash my hair easily.
The toilet stopped working but I fixed it myself the water was not filling in the top bit.
- Mel (8/5): Good location walking distance to Bakewell - Lovely location with walking distance to Bakewell with options of plenty of walks, and a lovely town. The cottage was perfect for a group of friends who had booked for a walking weekend. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Nick the host was very helpful and he advised that we could check in early and also there was no rush to check out as no one was booked in after us. was aware that there was on on street parking but with restrictions, permits and white lines meant that we had to park on a side street. This was ok as we have a good level of fitness. The cottage is at the top of the hill and with a further climb up from the road. The bathroom does seem a little dated and in need of some updating
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Kobie (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location! Beautiful town and the cottage suited us as a family of 4. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful break.
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good - The cottage had a lot of character. And a welcome tray of tea and biscuits was a nice touch. Walking distance down the hill into Bakewell but a steep walk back up. Parking was a bit stressful. I knew there was no parking at the cottage but had thought that I could park nearby. The main road running alongside the cottage is very busy and has a yellow line directly outside the access to the cottages. So you have to keep driving up and down the busy main road to find a space without a yellow line and not blocking anyone’s driveway. We stayed at a weekend and it was busy with other cottage rentals also looking for parking space. I am physically able to walk up and down the road but it was pouring with rain and a bit stressful. Also the turning space at the cottage is very tight if you have a big car.
- Daniel (10/5): Bakewell walking trip. - property location and proximity to the town centre. N/A
- Abigail (9/5): My friends reactions were 'You've done well to find this place!' - Really lovely and helpful owner. The area was very close to the main town (and a few great pubs). The beds were so comfy. Towels and shower wash provided, and very clean. Couldn't ask for more really. If you're planning to fill the house, one toilet is a bit of a squeeze, but surprisingly wasn't as much of an issue as I imagined it would be when I first saw the situation.
- Nicola (8/5): A lovely cottage close to the village centre - The cottage is a short walk into Bakewell, so you can eat out and not need to drive. There's a small private garden at the back which was a nice place to have a drink before dinner. Bedrooms are comfortable although the bathroom is quite small. We liked the flexibility of being able to have a meal in one evening rather than always eating out. It's a pity there's no private parking, but luckily, we managed to grab one of the few spots on the main road. We used what 3 words to find the cottage- maybe clearer directions could be useful- I wouldn't want to find it in the dark.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Jake (10/5): Exceeded expectations, everything we wanted in our stay and more - Very nice welcoming cottage, easier than I thought it would be to find. Host was helpful when I called about wi fi. We both really enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfy. Couldn't ask for more really. Also tea and biscuits nice touch from host. Very good value for money and would love to return next time I visit bakewell. The curtain in the front bedroom let's through morning light from the side which woke me up both mornings. It's hard to block it out so maybe something could be done with that. Also curtain tie back was lose and needs a new raw plug putting in wall.
- Clare (9/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable - Location was good and quiet The bathroom shower
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Easy instructions provided by hosts, very welcoming, good facilities, property clean & well stocked! Only minor downside was the parking was a little unpredictable
- Jackie (9/5): Little gem - Lovely cottage in great location Perhaps more glasses
- Pauline (9/5): Superb - Lovely cottage problem no parking space if I had known the problem with the hills and and the steep stairs I wouldn't have booked it we are in our late sixtys and found it hard work. No parking hills steep stairs I had to park on the road down the hill.
- Lynsey (8/5): Very good - Lovely little cottage with equipped kitchen area and comfortable beds. It was as describe with what it had to offer That i didnt research the cottage enough to realise it was quite steep hill and drive to the cottage and my mother has bad knees. Not ideal for her at all as was restricted
- Grant (8/5): Very good - Nice little cottage, good location - sun in the morning, front, and in the afternoon/evening at the back, overlooking the countryside, good to soak it all up. Nice walk into Bakewell. And on to the Bull's Head in Ashton in the Water... Enjoyed your little garden at the back, could see you're investing effort... I enjoyed noticing the sunflowers and watering them, and seeing them all perky! And the insects that were drawn in... Could be developed.
- Deene (9/5): Absolutely lovely stay and lovely location and the owners really communicated well and really cared about their lovely c - Very quaint and great location There was nothing we didn’t like but the position of the bathroom means it’s more suitable to family or very close friends
- Debbie (9/5): Superb - We liked the cottage, the amenities, surrounding views Would have liked a little more seating in the lounge for all 5 of us in the evenings
- Claire (10/5): We definitely recommend this cottage for a stay in Bakewell. - Great location. A few minutes walk down the hill into the lovely village of Bakewell. Very comfortable cottage and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
- Antoinette (8/5): Very good - The warm welcome in the cottage, the nice flowers around the cottage. The atmosphere of the house and surroundings. Bathroom and kitchen are quite small. It has everything but with 5 people is a bit cramped.
- Eleanor (10/5): Wonderful stay! - The cottage is in a great location with fabulous views. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Inside we had everything we needed for a lovely, relaxing stay in Bakewell. The garden is secluded and sunny and the beds were comfortable. It was also easy to find a parking space on the street nearby.
- Natalie (8/5): Perfect for a girlie hiking getaway - Fantastic location, close to the town, various hiking routes near by. good size accommodation, very clean and tidy The setup of upstairs room for access
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Florence (6/5): While we made the most of our time in Bakewell and the Peak District, the cottage itself was a disappointment. - The cottage is quaint with a good view. This property is not suitable for people with limited mobility. there is no mention I. the description of the steep climb from the road, the dangerous 3 steps up to the front patio, the dangerously steep stairs to the bedrooms or the
poor layout and outdated dishes, etc of the kitchen. Towels and bedding are not updated. Attempting to park the car long enough to off load luggage or to load upon leaving we’re hampered by other vehicles.
The directions to the property are poor. When I called the owner to say we could not find it, he gave better direction but it was actually a resident from up the street who went home and actually located it for us. The next morning, around 11:09 am, I received a call from Nick to ask if we had found the cottage. It seemed a bit after the fact.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Great clean property
Good location
Great friendly hosts Nothing to complain about.
- Lauraine (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous cottage, super clean and perfect location for us all, beautifully presented throughout, lovely neighbours too 😀 made very welcome.... Nothing not to like....
- Rob (10/5): Perfect for our short walking trip to the Peak Distric. - Beautiful traditional terraced cottage located on the edge of Bakewell., in a quite location and backing onto open fields; yet only a short 10min walk away from all the bustle of the town centre.
Wonderful hosts. Not an issue for us, but please note that it’s not suitable for anybody with restricted mobility.
- Tim (10/5): nice comfy - cosy, edge of town location. perfect for the two of us and the dog as a base to explore the peaks. - clean, cosy and close to town. we utilised as a base to go out biking and walking, so it was nice to come back in the evening to comfort / homely feeling looking in the manual there are a few things the owners are planning to make changes to and whilst nothing was an issue we could see how the changes would improve the cottage.
- Andylou (9/5): Superb - Peak cottage is a cute, compact cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Bakewell. It was very clean with good facilities. We particularly liked the small courtyard at the back that catches the afternoon sun perfectly.
- Barrett (8/5): Well presented, cosy cottage in a great location. - Cosy, well presented, great views and location. Lovely welcoming touches It could’ve done with a couple more basic bits eg sauces. A lot of very squeaky floorboards, but I suppose that’s to be expected in a cottage. It could do with a black out blind in the main bedroom as the curtains didn’t cover the end of the window and the bright mornings woke me up very early.
- Elise (10/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful place - Beautiful cottage just a short walk from Bakewell town centre. Super comfy, well equipped - home from home! A small dishwasher would be a welcome addition
- Lynne (10/5): A lovely character cottage in a beautiful town, perfect as a base for our walking holiday. - The cottage is charming, beautifully furnished and well equipped. It’s in a great central location with on-street parking and a short walk to everywhere. The bed was very comfortable, the cottage was clean and the views were stunning. Also the hosts were very obliging, giving us lots of information regarding check-in and answering any questions we had. Everything was great, would definitely stay at Peak Cottage again.
- Andrew (9/5): Lovely cottage, great location - Great location, very supportive hosts. Cars have to be parked some distance away, which could be an issue for some people
- Leanne (10/5): Dog friendly family holiday at Peak Cottage - We travelled as a family of 5 with our dog. Communication with the hosts prior to arrival was easy and instructions for locating the property and picking up the keys from the lockbox were very clear. Upon arrival, the property was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some treats for the dog which was a really nice touch. The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you could need and the rear courtyard is enclosed and safe for dogs. Upstairs the configuration has been really well thought out to make the most of the space and easily accommodated us all. The location was great for us, just a short walk down the hill into the town centre and close to lots of great walks. Parking is on the main road near the property and we found plenty of space available. All in all a great property! The only thing I can suggest, which is only very minor, is perhaps to incorporate a full length mirror in the main bedroom. Everything else was perfect.
- Karen (10/5): Gem of a cottage - Exceptional cosy cottage. Peak Cottage is the best cottage I’ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean with loads of character, yet plenty of space. Well equipped with everything you need and it felt like a home rather than just a place to stay. Also, dog friendly which was a plus for us.
Additional lovely touches such as the fire and heating left on for our arrival along with Christmas lights (28th December) with a bottle of wine and some lovely biscuits from the hosts. Julie and Nick are very friendly and available if needed.
The bed was very comfortable and the cottage is in a quiet area for a good sleep with beautiful views from the front and back bedrooms of the cottage.
Only a few minutes walk into the heart of Bakewell with plenty of eating places if required.
Peak cottage is definitely on my list of places to return to.
- Jackie (10/5): loved this cottage I will recommend it to family and friends. The entrance to the cottage is up a narrow lane after the - Lots of character, very quaint cottage which was very clean and well equipped. Set up high above the main road with fabulous views of Bakewell. I found the shower was good my husband must have had one when someone else was using the water downstairs and said it went hot and cold just a little note for anyone in the future but not a complaint at all.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect base for Bakewell, Chatsworth and all things Peak District. - Cosy. Well equipped. Warm. struggled to find it in the dark but Nick was brilliant, coming to show us the way.
- Angela (5/5): It was ok - The heating. The host was controlling the temperature. The fire in the living room wasn't working.Took both hosts to come and get it working
- Lynn (10/5): Lovely hosts and a very cosy cottage - The cottage was really cosy and lovely and warm when we arrive. The kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities you could need to cater for yourself. All the bedrooms were nicely decorated with really comfortable beds, very quiet area so you can get a good nights sleep.. Great views and only a short walk to the centre of Bakewell. The owners/hosts were super helpful and really quick to respond to any queries both before and during the stay.
Would definitely recommend
- Kathy (9/5): one of the best holidays I have ever had - lovely cosy cottage. Everything was there for you Owners kept in touch to ensure everything was ok
