Guest Reviews
- Julie (10/5): A real Home-from-Home Cottage! - The House was immaculately clean, really well kitted out and in a perfect location. Could do with a non-slip mat or a grab-rail in the downstairs bath. (If that’s the worst thing I can find to comment on ….. !!)
- Alison (10/5): Lovely cosy cottage in a beautiful location — we had a wonderful stay and it had everything we needed and more! - We had a lovely stay at the cottage and really enjoyed our time in the Cotswolds. It was cosy, well-equipped, and in a beautiful location — perfect for a relaxing break. The cottage had lots of character and felt very homely. The only downside for us was that the stairs were extremely steep, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, and one of the bathrooms being downstairs wasn’t ideal. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
- Shirley (10/5): Terrific stay! - Location excellent, private home, tea, milk , snacks ready. Showers and tub excellent. Plenty of restaurants close by but make bookings a day ahead. All was lovely.
- Joanne (10/5): Stunning cottage prefectly based to explore the Cotswolds. - Cottage was prefect in a great location with parking for 2 cars. Lovely touch having all toilette’s in the cottage and some milk and a few essentials really good idea and very much appreciated. Courtyard garden was lovely and the hot tub was the icing on the cake great to use at night with the lights above, very relaxing. Nothing.

- Dione (10/5): If you would like a break away to the Cotswolds book this place and I guarantee you will have a relaxing time. - Spacious and very quiet location. Main street just a minute walk away so ideal location if you want to go for a bite to eat or drinks. Stairs were very small to walk down but that’s not really a complaint just to be mindful when walking down stairs. Loved the place and will be back.
- Sian (9/5): Cosy cottage in a great location. - The property was cosy and well equipped and a 5-minute walk to the centre. The beds were comfortable and two bathrooms were a bonus. We made good use of the hot tub, too. The WiFi cut out twice during our stay and there were cobwebs in the lounge.
- Crellin (10/5): - Really cute wish we could stay here longer

- Jason (10/5): Awesome Cottage and very hospitable hosts - Very warm and toasty cottage in a perfect location, 5 minutes walk into town , hot tub was well set up for use and the hosts let us go in early and stay later too No issues to report
- Ann Liat (7/5): -
- Carla (10/5): Fabulous little cottage - Loved the location Nothing
- Nicola (8/5): Lovely quaint cottage - Great location for a girls weekend away The en suite bathroom has no door on it, ok for couples but not for friends sharing!
- James (10/5): Lovely stay, I would highly recommend - Lovely cottage, great space, larger than expected. Added bonus of hot tub. The 2nd room would be better if it had a double bed.
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Vaishnavi (10/5): - Lovely location, such a cute welcome package and the property was in great condition!
- Jo (9/5): Had a lovely stay, the cottage is in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds - Cute property, great location Would have been nice if the hot tub was covered as we couldnt use apart from the first evening due to rain, but was lovely on the first night :)
- Claire McDonald (8/5): - the biscuits and the prosecco were a lovely touch.
- Lesley (10/5): Definitely recommend - Great location, absolutely everything we needed and the spa was an absolute blessing after a full day of exploring. Nothing
- Marisa (9/5): - Cute little cottage with plenty of space for a family of 4. Very convenient for our quick trip to the Cotswolds from London. We did not have a car, and everything in town (groceries, train station, restaurants) were a short walk away. It was nice to have a washing machine/dryer to do laundry.
- Lizuryaty (9/5): Superb -
- Corinne (6/5): Poor WiFi signal - Location Stairs very steep and not easy to negotiate,
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location for visiting nearby villages. Minutes walk down the road from the main street full of cafe and pub food options.
Close to Clarksons Farm!
Hot tub was lovely and easy to use. No prep needed by us as was sorted before we arrived.
Bottle of prosecco was a lovely, kind touch.
Beds were like sleeping on clouds!
- Julie (9/5): We would recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable home away from home. Great location! - The cottage is lovely and perfectly located for the train station and all of the restaurants in Moreton in Marsh . The only thing we couldn’t find was a teapot . And the Nespresso coffee machine didn’t work for us . We bought capsules especially to use, but it didn’t work.
- Brenda (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Josie (8/5): Lovely stay, very nice cottage, everything we needed was provided, great location - Hot tub and the courtyard garden was lovely Main bed very comfy but the three singles were not as good. Two beds very soft and the third was rock hard. Everything else was faultless
- Michelle (6/5): Lovely location - Location of the cottage is perfect, walking distance to the pretty town with parking for 2 cars. We arrived early and the cottage was ready with a thoughtful welcome pack.
We had a great weekend with the weather and would have been lovely to sit in the garden and have a bbq but the outside area and furniture was broken and dirty including the area around the hot tub. So much so it put us off even using the hot tub.
There was a table and chairs but it was put away covered in cobwebs. The bbq had green mould growing inside.
We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the kitchen and utensils so decided to eat out in the nearby pubs and restaurants instead which were delightful.
The single beds are made for small children. The mattresses have no support and have noisy waterproof mattress protectors on which made sleeping a challenge.
Thankfully the location of the cottage made our weekend one to smile about but the cottage is not a place we will miss!
- Kelvin (8/5): Great little cottage in a great location, bonus was the off road parking - The location was excellent nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Definitely recommend & would love to stay again - Perfect location, steps away from restaurants & shops. Private parking was a bonus & a hot tub was a real treat. Great welcome snacks plus a bottle of wine. Plenty of handy essentials- tea, coffee, condiments, cooking oil, cling film & foil. Whilst the cottage is beautifully furnished there’s lack of privacy in the en-suite. This didn’t matter as we used the downstairs WC. Control panel on hot tub is worn away so we were reluctant to keep pressing buttons in case we messed up the settings. Sorted it in the end.
- Adam (8/5): Very good - The hot tub was very nice (heated up by the evening) and lots of restaurant options nearby The road nearby was pretty busy so we were hearing traffic far more than birdsong
- Robert (9/5): Excellent Cottage, Excellent Location and a Hot Tub! - Perfect Location, Great facilities. Bedrooms are a good size, Main bed very very comfy but kids beds a bit too springy. Cottage was plenty warm enough, very quiet too. Tea/Coffee/Sugar provided. A nice little gift on arrival too. Hot Tub was great, lovely and warm when it was near freezing outside. 1 minute walk to the high street. Check out time of 10am. Only a small thing but it should Always be 11am.
- Vivienne (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lewis (10/5): Easy and relaxing - Great property. Clean and well equipped. Would stay again Some painting a little tired but adds to the character and did not mind at all
- Catherine (10/5): We absolutely loved the cottage, it was perfect for a family stay. - We couldn’t fault it! The cottage was beautiful and it was lovely that it was decorated for Christmas. It was warm, very comfortable and had everything we could have needed during our weekend away.
- Steve (10/5): Brilliant little cottage, would return for another weekend - Very clean and comfortable, well kept inside Not a dislike but could do with a few more mugs and glasses in the kitchen
- Mairead (6/5): Pleasant - Proximity to town and supermarkets was great, The house could have been amazing if a number of minor issues were fixed. They were minor but because there were a few, it was quite disappointing.
Extremely soft mattresses and wobbly legs on single beds, quite uncomfortable to sleep on,
Minimal lighting in dining area with some lights not working at all,
Very wobbly dining table,
Leaking water on floor in downstairs bathroom when having a shower (which had been reported as an issue in Jan 24 reviews)
Front door very difficult to open, needed to lean in against the door to turn the key,
Written communication not left in an easily visible place, had to contact the owner regarding turning on the heating but eventually found instructions in basket hidden away in kitchen nook
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great position cute cottage with everything you may need
- Iona (9/5): Beautiful stay at corner cottage! Super well equipped, great central location and accommodating host! Thank you! -
- Joshcjones85 (10/5): Excellent. -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Dee (6/5): NO DOOR ON ENSUITE. Good location and fab hot tub - Great location and fab hot tub although cold on arrival after 4pm NO DOOR ON ENSUITE. Leaking shower, cobwebs and dust. Sent several emails to hosts with no reply
- Jane (8/5): Only there 2 nights and it suited our needs as a central location and a comfortable place. - Very nice place, easy walking to Main Street and train station. Beds very comfortable. Privacy between upstairs bath and bedroom needed. Need a shelf in shower.
- Stephen (8/5): good place great location - The location was ideal and the hot tub was great. The on suite bathroom was a poor design. It needs a toilet door
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Vicki (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cottage, well appointed with everything we needed.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Nicely decorated, great location! - The lock box was very helpful. Had driveway which was good since we had rental car and did not want hassle of street parking. The upstairs shower was a bit "small". Difficult to shower and not splash water everywhere.
- Stephen (10/5): Lovely Cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds - Charming cottage in the heart of the Cotswalds. Comfortable and clean. It's well appointed with a washer/dryer and plenty if appliances. Watch out for some low ceilings if you're tall like me. My only regret-not booking a longer stay.
- Jill (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is beautiful and attractively furnished and is in a great location. Having a hot tub and the benefit of on site parking made it especially nice A door on the ensuite would have been better but otherwise nothing to dislike
- Debbie (9/5): Great little cottage in great location. - Great location. Lovely property, clean and with a nice little outside space. Very cosy. Very steep stairs, not a problem for us but maybe for some. No door on en-suite bathroom.
Not big things.
- Alison (10/5): Really lovely and relaxing place to stay within easy reach of shops and restaurants - Location, facilities Steep stairs
- Cheryl (9/5): Quiet, Cosy Cottage - Very warm & cosy, quaint cottage. Excellent location, close to trains, bus stops, shops, cafes & pubs. Appliances were all clean & easy to use. The washer/dryer was very handy. Quiet cottage & quiet between the rooms. Bottle of prosecco & chocolates were a nice touch. We had a lovely time staying here. The only issue for us was the stairs. The two bedrooms & the ensuite are upstairs, main bathroom is down stairs. We are both elderly and found the stairs a bit of a worry. This really didn't detract from our stay it just meant that we were very careful going up & down. There are good, strong railings to hold on to
- Julie (9/5): Travelled down to Moreton in Marsh for a wedding. The cottage was ideal for our group. - Clean, convenient and well equiped The top of the stairs are very narrow, on an angle and there is no landing.
- Clare (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location, very comfy property
- Andriy (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (7/5): A lovely stay in general. Would have been perfect with the little details rectified. - Very quaint and quirky cottage in a great location. Great hot tub and facilities in the property. Heating worked well. Decor was lovely. Lots of bulbs not working in the property. Owner gave notes re shower in the en-suite which was extremely difficult to use without getting water everywhere. Not sure about the toilet in the en-suite being in the bedroom with no door. The bath in the main bathroom when in use caused an overflow of water onto the floor due to seal around the overflow hole. General cleanliness could have been better.
Single beds very unsteady and wobbly. A little shelf by the hot tub would have been great for drinks etc and towel hooks maybe.
- Joseph (10/5): Perfect spot in the Cotswolds - Perfect location. Very reasonable price . Friendly and very helpful owner Nothing
- Nicola (10/5): Great location with hot tub - Great location, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The cottage was a good size, and the hot tub particularly was great. No dog bowls
- Rhonda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lisa (10/5): Enjoyed our stay - Lovely cottage in an excellent location to the town but still nice and quiet. It had everything you need and an added bonus of the hut tub. Nothing
- Kamran (9/5): Superb -
