Guest Reviews
- Dr John (8/5): - Three fo the showers did not drain and the road-facing bedrooms were noisy overnight lorry traffic.
- Mark (7/5): Perfectly functional and suitable for what we wanted, but not easy to use or exceptional - It's location close to the town was good, and the kitchen was well appointed The whole house felt very enclosed. Too many fire doors and beds shoe horned into too small a space. The road noise was an issue with the rooms at the front of the house. In general, the house provided what was required. Plenty of rooms with comfortable beds and bathrooms, although more en suites would have been better. The bedrooms at the front of the house were noisy because of the busy London Road, and more parking spaces would have been useful for such a large house.
Two of the showers were overflowing, presumably because the traps had not been cleaned - we didn't check!
Generally the house was perfectly functional and practical, but clearly a money making rental property and a bit stark. No lovely wall hangings, games or books as you may have staying in somebody's house.
- Julie (10/5): Fabulous place for large group. Free parking and good location - Modern , very clean and comfy , spacious Shower was hard to get to right temperature
- Hannah (9/5): Would definitely recommend to a larger group wanting to explore the beautiful Buxton. - Very clean property.
Excellent location.
Very spacious - excellent for a large group There wasn’t anything that we could really pinpoint.
The only thing if I had to chose would be all of the doors were fire doors which I understand is purely for safety however with 2 young children and a dog, we had to be mindful of the fact that they slam closed by themselves. That being said, we understand the reason for them being there and the children/dog were never left unattended so no accidents!
- Dr (9/5): Superb -
