Guest Reviews
- Marianne (10/5): -
- Caroline (6/5): - Having the whole place Out of date cereal
Not actually being at the winery
I was expecting 2 double beds but instead there was 1 double and 2 singles
- Melanie (9/5): The room was quite clean, and I loved the heater light in the shower. - The staffs were accommodating and flexible with our requests. I asked if it was possible to check out later due to work commitments and to check in after business hours and they were happy to make arrangements to suit our schedule.

- Michael (9/5): - Right at Summerfield Winery and close to many other great wineries. And just an hour from The Grampians. Peaceful and quiet.

- Catherine (9/5): We had a lovely stay with very comfortable facilities - Very clean. Loved having an electric blanket. Great to have breakfast provided, especially bread to make toast
- Amal (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (7/5): My friends and us had a great time but the Cottage needs to to set its bar up to a much higher standard for the things p - The cottage was very good with a garage and and very good facilities inside the house. The heater worked very well as did the stove and bbq Unfortunately some of the facilities lacked the standard they should be operating at. The shower was terrible with no pressure and very hard to adjust the temperature. The gas heater worked well but if you wanted to use the wood heater then matches, kindling and paper were non existent. There were other things that weren’t up to the standard for the price paid which is a shame because I believe it has great potential.
- Marie (9/5): Superb -
- Sheryl (9/5): Great catch up with friends and great food - Proximity to venue
Quiet
Bush view
Clean and tidy The payment from Booking.com had not gone through and it was coming up as unpaid
- Henry (8/5): Cottage was very comfortable. Had pizzas and two very nice bottles of wine on Friday night and all the girls we’re great - When booking unaware the cottage was off site from the winery and in town
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (9/5): Superb - The staff were amazing, thoughtful and generous.
- Leah (8/5): A nice spot and well equipped cabin - Handy for our purpose, well set up
Room, nice to have real milk, and breakfast items included. Helpful staff. Only one issue, bed quite firm and when one of us moved or turned over the other was woken up and vice versa due to springs being very springy! Not a great sleep as a result.
- Anne (10/5): Get away for a weekend in Moonambel - The beds were comfortable and the cottage was well equipped. We went to the winery for dinner and the food was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anita (7/5): Good - The Winery and eatery part was excellent. The Rose and platters were great. Staff very friendly and happy. Location beautiful and kangaroos in the morning was a bonus. Breakfast and Nespresso a lovely addition. The room and its furnishings were dated, clean but detracted from the overall ambience.
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (8/5): Lovely spot to stay for a night or two. - A very quiet location, with kangaroos and sheep outside the rooms. Smart Tv allowed us to have Foxtel. Everything was in working order and a Nespresso machine for coffee. Ability for an evening meal out is not always available. The staff at the Winery made a salad and we bought meat from their cafe/ shop so we didn’t starve.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (8/5): Gluten free Pizza were nice - Quit country town No gluten free options for breakfast
It’s only Continental breakfast for price
we assumed it was a buffet breakfast
- Kellie (9/5): Superb - Clean, good sized rooms and lots of little perks added to- like juice, bread, cereal and coffee pods!
It was a great stay!
- Catherine (10/5): Friendly personal service with amazing food and wine. - Self contained with a pizza restaurant on site as well as wine tasting and small produce available and fresh baked breads and cakes onsite!
Digital TV so can connect to your streaming channels! Nothing!
- Patricia (10/5): Comfortable stay and great wine. - Restaurant and wine tasting on site with accommodation.
- Butler (8/5): Comfortable cottage stopover. - The cottage was a great stopover for our trip back from SA. It was warm, well equipped & comfortable. The restaurant at the winery was close by with great food. The kitchen & bathroom were clean, however the rest of the house could have benefited from a good clean/dust.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Allison (8/5): Very good - Very quiet and great to have the winery close by.
- Christopher (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lizzy (9/5): Really happy with the facilities & ambience. Would deffo stay here again. - Loved the country-vibe. The front Verandah to sit outside, & the good sized interior, especially the separate bedroom. It’s a little isolated with limited meal options in the closest town.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (9/5): Staff were excellent. They have a restaurant but only opened for dinner Friday/Saturday. But staff made us a pizza a - Quiet, clean. Great staff. Breakfast included Location. 15 minutes drive to next town to have a meal.
- Di-and (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - Great pizzas, comfortable room. Communication breakdown.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great location friendly staff, great food and wine - Good clean comfortable accommodation Nothing
- Debbie (8/5): Peaceful and relaxing time - Location was great . Quite peaceful, having the Winery next door beautiful setup with pizza dining excellent It was a bit dated inside. Not enough power points . No long length mirror. So disappointed as we we’re getting ready to attend the Avoca races . Only tiny mirror in the bathroom 😞 no Sun lounges outside . Would improve the stay
- Sam (8/5): Very good -
- Shun (5/5): Passable -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Good and good
- Kim (9/5): Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. - Great location and fabulous accommodation - very clean, full kitchen, nice hot shower, comfy bed with crisp fresh linen. Great coffee, yummy pizzas and love the sparkling shiraz. Very impressed that coeliacs are catered for in a pizza restaurant, - not just GF pizza base but option to have them cooked separately which is much appreciated and necessary if you are coeliac. Thank you! There’s nothing we didn’t like.
- Ross (7/5): would come back particularly for the wine and pizzas - fabulous restaurant and cellar door with friendly very helpful staff wonderful wines, exceptional pizzas and bread accommodation a little dated but clean and nice breakfast provisions
