- McNamara (10/5): Incredible, cozy place that we would highly recommend. - Honestly, this place was amazing in every way. It truly did exceed expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, had wonderful amenities, and the location was spectacular. If we lived closer, we would absolutely go back. There was really nothing we would improve. It was a fantastic stay.
- Jacqueline (9/5): Had a great weekend with my sons. - The room was gorgeous and suited our needs. The setting could be stunning but unfortunately it was storm Dave. It would’ve been nice to know in advance that there were no breakfasts available. Perhaps some information as to where we could get breakfast locally. We had to hunt for the ironing equipment. This could have been detailed in the information pack. Didn’t spoil our stay but would’ve been useful.

- Foster (10/5): - Early check in was amazing and when we did check in it was easy. N. A
- Rachael (10/5): Great little find, would definitely book again. - Lovely, pleasant clean and very well presented. Spotlessly clean and tidy
- Lynne (5/5): - The bathroom flooded due to the nature of the bathroom - wet room, great shower, no door. Towels used to mop up water in bathroom which transferred to the sleeping room making the room a little slippery at times.
I booked a room with an extra large bed, but the bed was standard size
For the three days we stayed the stench of silage was sickening and overwhelming
The host Rachel was supportive, reachable via phone, onsite and offered assistance should required
- Lucy (10/5): Comfortable, cozy studio - will book again! - Spotlessly clean, very friendly and accommodating owner. Great little studio with everything you need! Nothing
- Dr Sridhar (10/5): Excellent. Pleasant surprise. Rachel was really helpful and a fantastic host -
- Laura (10/5): Amazing stay, gorgeous room and location! -
- Mhairi (10/5): Best place I’ve found to stay in all the years of travelling in the uk. - We loved absolutely everything about this wee find. Came across it by chance and couldn’t believe how perfect it was for one overnight. The staff are probably the best there is in any stays I have recently stayed in and I travel a lot for work. When I first arrived myself , Simon the owner was over sitting with me, made me a pot of tea then took me a wee tour of the the premises before taking me to our room. Loved loved it and can’t wait to go back 💖 Not one thing

- Sally (8/5): - Very clean and comfortable
Great location for visiting clitheroe Little bit small for 4 adults
No where to put things
- LEE (10/5): Brilliant and easy stay - We had a family room which was great. Double sized bunk beds for my kids in a separate ish room, it’s walled off just not fully. Had everything we needed. Clear instructions on room and how to get in.
- andrea (10/5): Lovely stay - Loved the location Probably no windows but we only stayed one night so not a big problem
- Karen (8/5): Lovely room and location, but a bit pricey. - Easy directions to find the room.
Room was clean, spacious, lots of plug sockets.
Bed was warm and very comfortable. The room didn’t have a bath.
- Bolton (8/5): - Location, room 10am checkout, couldn't find an option to extend
- PAULINE (9/5): A lovely experience especially because it was a working farm - Cannot comment on breakfast as it wasn't available. I was aware of this when I booked. Didn't like the pillows as I found them too hard.
- Matt (8/5): - The room was clean, spacious and clearly developed to a high spec. The doors require better sound proofing.
- Rebekah (8/5): Lovely place - Property was unique and very cosy Would have preferred check out to be 11am like other hotels
After a night out 10 am was a bit too early
- Trish (10/5): -
- Helen (8/5): - Couldn’t find terrestrial tv channels??
- lowes (10/5): - Beautiful location, extremely clean room Storm Amy🥴, despite the horrible weather still a lovely stay
- Alex (10/5): -
- Essy (8/5): -
- M hallas (10/5): - Great place to stay, clean, comfy and easy to get to Nothing, it was grand
- Gill (9/5): - Great location, rooms well equipped, bed very comfortable. Walls are quite thin.
- Din (10/5): - Location and comfort Coffee table tiny and kettle by the bed
- Phyl (8/5): Comfortable night stay - The door was open on arrival however we struggled with the key code when going out. Thank fully there was a contact number and the host came and resolved the problem Nothing
- Emily (8/5): - Beautiful location. There was no window in our room. I’m not sure if I missed it on the booking but it was very warm and felt a little claustrophobic. Was okay for one night but would consider requesting another room if stay was longer.
- Mohammad (10/5): -
- Sam (10/5): -
- Billy (10/5): Fantastic location and clean, 5 star stay! - Great Location Nothing
- Debbie (8/5): -
- Eileen (8/5): Very pleasant - Everything
- Carolyn (9/5): -
- That Guy Jezza (10/5): 10/10 experience, would definitely stay again! - Really fantastic accommodation! Spacious room, big bathroom, plenty of amenities such as towels and bedding. The host was easy to reach via text and always answered my questions quickly, very good communication! No real issues at all! The only thing I would say is it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and the internet provided was a little slow but overall wasn't too bad!
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Lizzy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Calvert (7/5): Good -
- Easton (8/5): Very good -
- Ranald (10/5): Great - Straightforward I liked it all
- Leah (9/5): Perfect stay for access into Clitheroe. - Fabulous clean room in an excellent location. No window, therefore no fresh air and room was very warm in the night.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (4/5): Nice room, needs AC - OK, this is a hard review really. The room itself is lovely, nicely decorated smart enough, clean and comfortable.
Decent bathroom, nice products too. The shower was appalling, would have been great when it was installed however it hasn't been maintained well and sprays everywhere except where you want it.
The room is incredibly hot. No windows as it was an internal room (didn't know this when booking) and no air-conditioning, fan or anything, was so hot during the night we couldn't sleep.
TV is useless, pointless being there, no terrestrial channels just weird random ones, this was minor to be honest, but it's a honest review.
- Alan (10/5): Booked the property online to attend a wedding in a nearby area accommodation was ideal for what we needed - Very clean and welcoming lovely area
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - Lovely clean place to stay. Smelled lovely the moment you walked into the room. Nice location and would definitely revisit. Loved everything…could just do with a hook or rail in the bathroom.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Lizzie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - The walls are very thin and the people in the next room were very loud
- Irene (8/5): Wouldn’t stay where again. £88 no breakfast - Reasonably priced. Facilities ok There is no “reception” so you have to let yourself in and out of the property by a safe key lock. It is a mile from anywhere and the Uber dropped me off at the postcode which is incorrect and I had to walk 0.6 miles to the accomodation at midnight . Not happy
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely peaceful evening - Location was beautiful and peaceful A bit more wall storage for things
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional - ..
- Kaina (10/5): Exceptional - The views the staff the rooms the venue the food everything is just 10/10 for us
- Julie (10/5): Brilliant and relaxing - Personal communication from the host made it very easy. Only 1 thing.
The windows were frosted. I feel Venetian blinds would work better.
I get it as I was in room 9 which was on the main path but the views were so beautiful I would have liked to look out.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (10/5): I would just like to thank everyone for a lovely stay - We had key code but I couldn’t make it work
So I rang the number left on door and they came and opened the door and explained what we were doing wrong Finding it lol
- Calum (10/5): Wish we had time to stick around longer - Beautiful building in a beautiful setting .Stayed before last year in a bigger room which was equally as good only disappointment was it was just a flying visit for us this time. The rooms and grounds are immaculate the interior and exterior design is 10/10 staying true to the buildings history. It’s a tough time for farmers and land owners these days and diversifying is a must for them a lot of respect to the owners for taking a leap of faith starting up the business they have done themselves proud. It’s a small nit pick but the TV channel set up was odd but when your staying at a place like Bashall Barn who needs TV anyway.
- Leoni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (4/5): It was alright I suppose...wouldn't go back - The bed and shower No window and felt very claustrophobic
- Annie (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (10/5): beautiful - beautiful location, rooms gorgeous, very very comfortable beds, friendly helpful host
- Sean (7/5): Upgraded by Host due to a minor heating issue which was later resolved, all in all a lovely stay and would recommend. - Great location nestled into the hills of Clitheroe with plenty of options for walks, hikes, drives and places of interest to visit and enjoy a bite to eat or drink. Located in a farming area so there was quite an offensive smell lingering in the area but that’s to be expected given the location
- Lesley (8/5): Our stay was not unpleasant and we will stay again as the property is close to where we travel to regularly. However, w - The bathroom was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the bedding very clean and particularly warm (thank goodness).
The location was lovely and convenient for where we needed to be the following day. Hairdryer supplied. No staff in evidence at all. No real fresh milk available. The room was not warm enough. The radiators felt just aired (we arrived at approx 9pm) and we were cold then and also in the morning.
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (10/5): Would highly recommend - Spotless and well finished accommodation Great location easy to book in
- Galea (7/5): Good - This property is a very quiet and airy area Only that as it’s far from any restaurant or cafeteria no breakfast is served
- Cha36jennings (9/5): Superb - Excellent accommodation.
Great shower.
Very comfy bed.
Lovely linen.
Stunning countryside views.
Stable Internet.
Large stylish room.
Good parking.
Kitchenette. Host upgraded us to a room with kitchenette but failed to let us know we were moving from our booked 2 bed, to a 1 bed room.
This was unfortunate as this meant sharing a bed with a friend rather than the planned individual beds.
