• Antonio (10/5): Like a home away from home - The location was excellent, just a short walk from Highbury and Islington Station. The property felt homely. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable. Having access to a washing machine and vacuum was a bonus.

• Lonneke (10/5): Heerlijk, zorgeloos verblijf! - Appartement was fijn sfeervol ingericht, fijne bedden. Er waren ruim voldoende handdoeken aanwezig en basis benodigdheden. Ook koffie en thee aanwezig Er viel niets tegen maar als ik iets moet noemen dan is de badkamer wat verouderd en de lades van de ladekasten gaan moeilijk open en dicht.

• Vrinda (10/5): Gorgeous, clean, spacious flat - a must stay in Islington! - Everything was perfect. The location was lovely - a peaceful part of Islington which is accessible to all parts of London with buses and the tube nearby. Lots of wine bars, restaurants, cafes, and a small supermarket within close walking distance. The space is so beautifully laid out and value for money is incredible for London. All amenities you’d need are provided and it felt like our home away from home. Communication was so easy. Can’t fault this place and have recommended it to friends. Thanks!

• Marie-Regine (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay, a great base for our London trip. - Elgin's flat is great. Light and airy with plenty of space for the three of us. The location was perfect for our trip, tube, overground and buses near-by to take you wherever you want to go. A short walk to so many great places too. We definitely would recommend. There's also a great outdoor space. There are extra little touches too like slippers, toiletries and a good selection of teas and coffee for you when you arrive that raises it above many places. There wasn't much we didn't like at all. Just know that the steps down into the flat from the street are quite steep if that is a consideration.

• Parkes (9/5): A great 2 bedroom flat in Islington. Very clean and comfortable - The flamingo is a very comfortable 2 bedroom flat in Islington with a full kitchen and a lovely back garden. Very clean, roomy, and has smart TV’s in the bedrooms and a larger tv in the living area. The bathroom is small but more than adequate for a small family. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, quite roomy and bathed in natural light. We enjoyed eating our breakfast each morning at the table in the kitchen. The host offers free (Nespresso) coffee and tea. Milk and sugar are also supplied so no need to worry if you arrive late at night. The property is a five minute walk from the Highbury & Islington tube station and is a 15 minute walk to Emirates Stadium. Nothing comes to mind.
• Marietha (9/5): A spacious flat, comfotable bed, cozy interior, highly recommended. - Easy access. Good communication with owner. Location excellent for bus, tube and train. Double glazing back doors block out noise. Flat clean and had all we needed. Backyard in full sun a bonus.

• Xx (4/5): Disappointing - Kettle had limescale and we had no heating for 24hrs was told a gas man was coming and as three girls not living london we didn’t know who was coming to the property so we went out , central heating should’ve been checked prior to our stay especially when i received a message saying everything was ready for our arrival

• Vitoria (9/5): We would definitely stay there again! Wonderful flat and a very solicitous host. - The flat and the experience of being there for 9 days was excellent in most ways: a beautifully decorated flat, with all mod cons, good quality and comfortable furniture and beds, nice sheets, an excellent heating system, tea/coffee/milk supplied, liquid soap and moisturising cream in the kitchen, shower and basin, nice garden, and the host replies to any queries and solves any problem almost immediately. The shower is over a bath so it can be quite slippery having a wash or getting out of the shower. It would be much safer to have handrails in the shower cubicle. The two lamps over the bed in one of the rooms were loose and seemed not to work, the host offered to have them replaced but I got them to work and preferred not to have an electrician in the flat to sort that. A minor hitch, but could have been sorted out before we moved in. The flat was very clean on the whole, and I dont give it full mark on that because a couple of shelves in the bathroom cupboard had some toothpaste stuck to them, which is not too serious considering the overall state of the flat when we moved in.

• Rose (10/5): Awesome! Everything was perfect for us 2 couples. - We loved everything! the decor was bright & lovely, the kitchen & outdoor area which were great. A comphy lounge & nice to relax with tv at the end of the day. The location was excellent & a very nice part of London.

• Almar (3/5): Poor - The apartment was nicely equiped with everything needed: enough towels, cutlery, plates, detergents, soap and shower gel etc. The beds were comfortable: the mattress and the bed cover and the pillows. The free coffee was also good. The place has big problems with mold, specially in the bathroom and bedrooms.The inside of the cupboards were impacted by it and the pillows for the outside patio (deposited in the cupboard). Important to know for people with health issues. There were also mots in the apartment. The carpets need deep cleaning, you could see that they were vacuum cleaned but still dirty.

We loved the fact that it has a garden. Very clean and comfortable, all the amenities you could need for a holiday. Just some minor aspects: the table in the garden was dusty and the rubber gasket on the bedroom door, leading to the garden, was coming out. Again, minor things. Everything else was just wonderful.

Highly recommend this p - This is an excellent apartment, with access to many commercial shopping benefits. The apartment has all the necessary facilities for a long term stay. The bedding is excellent, the two room sizes are decent and the living area is perfect for a family of four. kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances for preparing small meals. beautiful backyard to enjoy coffee listening to bird chirps. The washer/dryer hidden away in a closet under the stairs was not in the best of condition. Unused for a while had some mold that definitely needs replacing and better ventilation to keep them dry after each use.

• Eimear (9/5): A perfect hub for a city break - The location couldn't be handier, it's a short stroll from an underground station along the Victoria line (perfect for getting to and from Gatwick/Heathrow), and also an overground which is handy for accessing areas like Hackney/Hackney Wick. The local area is well serviced with bars, cafés and shops. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, warm and very homely. There is one large master bedroom and a smaller guest room which would comfortably sleep a couple. The hosts left more than enough towels as well as plenty of coffee! The kitchen and bedroom also open out into a lovely garden with a patio/seated area. Communication from the hosts was excellent-they even checked in to make sure all was well across the weekend. There was nothing I could fault!

Modern design, great shower, comfortable bed. It is way above the standard we were used to in the UK. Entering was easy, keys waited in the keybox for us. Very clean, many towels provided. We would highly recommend the apartment.
