• Markus (9/5): A lovely stay in traditional villa Asteri in North Kefalonia - We were warmly welcomed in the beautiful villa by Mr. Dimitris , including a lovely welcome treat with local wine selection, fruits and some traditional savory and sweet snacks. The villa is of traditional architecture with many wooden details and warm colors that match the rural landscape of the village. We especially enjoyed the calm and serene environment along with the sea views , every morning we would take our breakfast on the upstairs large balcony to marvel the open plan scenery of Fiskardo bay ! The kitchen we made especially use to prepare our meals and found it fully equipped. The house is well maintained and the bathrooms are large and nice. There were more than enough towels and bed linen available and overall the villa was spotlessly cleaned. We loved the fireplace during the evening when we relaxed in the living room reading with my wife , our long walks in the village leading to the marina of Fiskardo through olive trees and lemon tress while having sea views was our morning highlight! The village of Katsarata we found was a great base to explore the area , the popular Fiskardo destination as well as the amazing beaches nearby, mini market was very close in distance but also a larger supermarket just a few klms away with all necessities. We where hesitant to book at first , as the villa did not have recent reviews, but our hesitation was quickly gone when we got in touch with our questions to Christina , the reservations agent responsible for villa Asteri who was very detailed and helped us design a lovely trip in Kefalonia with many useful tips and suggestions on how to spend our few vacation days.
• Clausen (8/5): Wonderful stay in Villa Asteri. - Really lovely spacious home with everything you need. The views from outside and the balconies were lovely. Exceptionally quiet neighbourhood which we loved. Would definitely recommend. Wasn’t too much of a bother for us but Wi-Fi doesn’t reach upstairs.
