Guest Reviews
- Sarah (7/5): Not an apartment - Clean, location good It is advertised as an apartment but its a converted garage at the back of house/garden.
Although it was clean, had the usual facilities, it was very compact and the bathroom wasn't very comfortable to use.
- Emma (10/5): A great find - Great location, had all the facilities needed. Cute and comfy room. Worked perfectly for an over night stay. Will be staying again for sure. Thank you :)

- Ursula (10/5): It ticked all our boxes - It was a great stay. The property was very small but very well equipped with everything we needed for a nights stay for two people. It was very easy to find. Parking was right outside the front door. Access was easy and host was very helpful and responsive. It was spotlessly clean everything worked. Bed was very comfy. Shower was great. Id definitely recommend and use again if in the area. It was very near shops, a shopping mall and a food court, It was easy access to get to Margate and Ramsgate where our family stayed whom we were visiting. Noting really all good

- Michael (8/5): Would use again if staying in the area - Very cosy, very convenient and had everything you would need
- Jason (10/5): Excellent, the location was great for us! - It was a funny surprise! We found out on the day that it’s actually a converted garage! It’s been well thought out and is very well equipped with everything you need! The shelf above the bathroom sink needs to be removed so you can brush your teeth.
An ashtray is needed outside.

- Gulcin (1/5): I lost my money to book this place - Nothing I didn’t stay there. Host wasn’t welcoming. I am travelling last 6 years all over the uk . First time I am having this problem. I booked this place because I needed to work late. And this place is 5 minutes walk where I worked. But from early morning host started to messaging me to ask questions about stay. Even very simple things not smoking.(I don’t even smoke??)this is not professional way to run this business. You lost a good potential future customer mate. Please try to be welcome
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keadene (4/5): Disappointing -
- Gerard (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie (1/5): Shambles!!! - Cosy as such The missing door frame in the bathroom.
Placing hand near as entering shower managed to slice hand on exposed tile. Not a first aid kit in sight even tho the LAW states there should be.
This led to an early leave and a hospital trip
Informed the owner the next day not even such as a refund offered! Disgraceful to be honest!
Sham of hosts!
This should be taken off booking.com.
- Brendan (10/5): Warm cosy nice - Very clean tidy and cosy. Nice decor Nothing it was all good
- Carl (8/5): Good little place to stay & cheap. - Good facilities milk coffee & tea & all cleaning. Was when warm was a cosy place. Only stayed for the night bed tbh. But I would highly recommend the place for the good price. The cold bed & the room also the entry lock was low down and awkward to bend down & see numbers. The shower was either too hot or too cold. The settings were awkward.

We liked everything about the property could’ve been a plug socket by the mirror, but other than that it was spot on

- John (6/5): Pleasant - It was OK for an overnight stay in a converted garage. Location was hard to find, a brief description would have helped. Poor bedding and towels. Bathroom pocket door did not operate correctly. Waste bin in bathroom not emptied. Communication not good
- Julian (5/5): Compact and clean. What you see on the inside is exactly what you get. - It’s clean and comfortable. It’s a small converted garage at the back of a house in a residential area.
- Jodie (10/5): Exceptional -

- Leon (8/5): Lovely Hideaway - Location, parking facilities, good size apartment, cozy, all the required amenities were provided and comfortable. Shelf placed directly above bathroom sink meant we were unable to use the sink properly. We had to angle our head under the shelf to be able to wash out face or brush our teeth.
No toilet brush provided.
No towel or robe hook in the bathroom
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and tidy. Very comfortable and cosy.
- Beatrix (5/5): Hob not working, very disappointed - Small stylish place. Me and my partner booked this property as it was advertised that it has a hob, however when we got there it wasn’t working. I let the host know and asked if they could come and have a look at it in the morning, however they just said the fuse must have gone, which was quite disappointing as the main reason we booked this place was for the hob and had to chuck our fresh ingredients away and dine out instead. Wouldn’t stay here again. :/
- James (10/5): The hideaway - Place was great bed was comfortable and there was everything you needed excellent for local facilities Nothing everything was fine
- Butler (9/5): A brilliantly thought out space. - Stayed here on September 30th for one night.Such a brilliant use of space.Everything has been so well thought out. There's everything you need.Modern and tastefully decorated, with the added bonus of it having it's own parking space.Very well done to the host.
- Louise (6/5): Pleasant - Location good, very clean, good parking. No loo brush, only half a loo roll with no spare, mismatched towels (seemed well washed) and pillow cases, very few cooking essentials (no grater, nothing to drain pasta or anything boiled) inch of shower gel in bottle. We were not sure if the two parted used bottles of milk in fridge were left for us or from last people, along with part used spread. So much good but attention to detail was lacking. Felt it was overpriced compared to previous stays in similar accommodation.
- Hass (8/5): Very good -
- Frances (9/5): I would stay there again. - I liked the decor and the facilities including the kitchenette. The flat is located in a quiet residential, Parking was right outside the front door. A large shopping mall and several pubs are less than a mile away. There is an excellent bus service to all the local towns in the Thanet area. Wifi was good, The key safe is quite low and I had difficulty reaching it and seeing the numbers - reading glasses needed. There was no chair only a bar stool. A folding chair would have been useful and more comfortable than sitting on the bed to watch TV.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely quiet location & perfect for a night away..
- Wallace (9/5): Superb -
- Annette (7/5): Lovely hideaway - Small space well equipped clean & is a comfortable room. Perfect for an overnight stay. Parking was great as you have an allocated space outside the apartment. The host was great and kept us updated throughout.
We would stay again if in the area. The host was thoughtful & left milk & butter squash etc in the apartment but the butter has already been previously opened & used as it had bread crumbs in it. No real issue though as Asda is just round the corner so we brought what we needed.
- Philip (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (8/5): Friendly host and good location - an apartment that made it possible to visit family in Broadstairs. - Self check in, good location, friendly and helpful host. A chair in the room would make it a lot more comfortable to be in. There is only a bed and a stool.
- Sade (8/5): The Hideaway served my purpose. - I did find it very tricky to open the Safe Lock Box. Charlotte was helpful.
Thanks Charlotte.
Sadé ☀️
- Josephine (5/5): Passable - I dident stay as room to small Very hard to find. Then getting key out of box difficult . When I got in found it very claustrophobic
- Annie (10/5): The Hideaway is exactly what the name describes, lovely little place to stay, tucked away in a quiet area. - It was perfectly located, really clean with everything I could have wanted
- Pete (8/5): just the job - It was clean, bed was fairly comfortable, host had left butter and milk 😉 Parking ideal A fan would have been useful given the current heat, as ground floor, wasn’t comfortable leaving windows open facing the main road
- Aimee (7/5): Good -
- Patten (8/5): Very good - Easy check in & check out. Good communication from the host Would be improved by having WiFi
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - It was a really nice environment. It felt exactly like a ‘hideaway’.
The decor was lovely and the best was so comfortable.
It was simple to get into and we have amazing communication with the host.

- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (10/5): It was a lovely place to stay , warm and cosy. - The location was great. Access was easy. The decor is beautiful. Parking was easy. The host answered any questions swiftly. I will be recommending the Hieaway to friends. The coffee in the coffee jar needs to be changed and it would be good to have more tea towels and a bath mat for the shower.
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): simplistic, clean and very quiet, happy couple left well rested - cosy, light and had all the facilities you oils want for a nights stay. it has its own pull up drive and access to wide opening windows can’t complain really, maybe just that the sink is rather small in bathroom and I banged my head brushing teeth but pretty perfect otherwise
- Jace (10/5): Beautiful, clean space with great facilities. - The hideaway was beautifully decorated and looks exactly like the photos, it was so cosy and clean with all the facilities you could need.
