Guest Reviews
- Patricia (10/5): We loved our stay at the Pastures. Everything we needed for a weekend break in a quiet and comfortable location. - Spacious and clean, very comfortable. A lovely selection of goodies were thoughtfully provided. Access to the garden was appreciated, especially by our dog. Just 2 minor things - would appreciate an option for a lighter weight duvet! It was already a warm house and would have preferred lighter bedding. Blackout blinds in the bedroom would be good.
- A Don (10/5): Beautiful light bright annex in peaceful location - Very spacious and clean annexe. Access to decked fenced private patio although weather, meant we did not use this. Well equipped kitchen. Super comfy bed and bedding. Light and bright interior, with good heating plus woodburner. It is quite far out from town centre so need a car especially for walk back which is uphill As previous reviews state shower is not right. Went on advice from owner but still shower went intermittently cold to scalding hot. If this was fixed it would simply be the perfect place
A few logs for woodburner would've been good. We bought some down in town, but having a few as a starter would be helpful.
- Kelvin (10/5): Would definitely recommend and would stay again - Quiet location, off street parking. Friendly host Nothing
- andrew (8/5): Oasis of calm - It was comfortable, well equipped, quiet location and was just what we wanted. Also lovely comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The only downside was the shower, it wasn't very good. But we have since discovered that the owners are aware and dealing with it.
- Bryan (9/5): Most enjoyable stay in very comfortable accommodation. - Very spacious and comfortable living area and we appreciated the bread, milk and goodies that were provided. Perfect location for visiting family in Morpeth. The shower pressure was a little low but we knew that beforehand and it was not an issue for us.
- Andrew (9/5): Very comfortable and quiet - Very comfortable and good location Nothing

- Ashleigh (9/5): Excellent stay, will be back in the future - Lovely location and excellent little flat. Had everything we needed! Shower temp was a bit hit and miss but not really a bother for us
- Marion (9/5): Comfortable stay in Morpeth - Lovely apartment in quiet residential area in Morpeth, all very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with a private patio/ garden area too. Good information from Helen on access and some handy items in the flat when we arrived, such as milk, bread, tea, coffee and biscuits. Nothing - all was good
- Lesley (9/5): We loved our stay at The Pastures - The Pastures was just like home . Everything was there to make our stay comfortable. It was spacious and clean with lovely bed linen and towels. Everything worked. We had no issues whatsoever. Our host, Helen, was approachable, very kind, and friendly, and communication was great.
- Adrian (9/5): - Space to relax and the freedom to eat in or out Bathroom relatively small in comparison to the rest of the accommodation
- Kim (10/5): - The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Fresh milk and bread, tea, coffee, biscuits, etc these were a very welcome.
10 min walk from Morpeth centre.
Good contact from the owner. Very happy to recommend this apartment.
- Gillian (10/5): -
- Emily (10/5): - Fantastic space with private entrance and own outdoor space. Nothing, it was wonderful!
- Tracey (10/5): Home from home - Easy self check
Great communication from host .
Immaculately clean and comfortable.
Loved all the little extras proper home from home .
Would use again if in area Shower was bit tricky but Helen had given us instructions just needed to run to warm up
- Nadia (9/5): Great accommdation, clean, spacious, quiet location within walking distance from town. - Lovely accommodation, quiet, clean, spacious with everything we needed. Garden truly enclosed and dog proof allowing us to let the dog wonder in and out as she wished, so we could relax. We will be back. Recommended. Nothing to really dislike. Would have preferred a cooler duvet (but we adapted) and black out blinds! But wouldn’t deter us from returning.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Location, convenience, and how easy it was to feel at home If I'm being very picky, a more powerful shower would be nice, but it's perfectly usable.
- Jon (8/5): Very good - The shower was not great, we had instructions given for settings but on eco the shower was only tepid at best but way too hot if you used the high setting, real shame as the rest of the property was very comfortable. We had to move the wardrobe up a little as we both caught our knees on the end of the bed frame which sticks out, a couple of strategically placed cushions sorted that issue, maybe best to put the vacuum under the wardrobe at some point!
Overall though a great place to stay, you don’t much time in the shower so it’s only a minor niggle but I was asked for my opinion! The host was excellent with communication, also left some bread milk butter and jam etc which was much appreciated. Overall a great place to stay, but the shower let it down.
- Moira (10/5): Quality and comfort with personal touches. - Had a great couple of nights here. Everything is of excellent quality. We appreciated the personal touches, including the dog biscuits for our 4 legged friend.
- Lesley (10/5): A brilliant stay convenient for the town and our planned visit to cragside. The dog was happy too with a closed in gard - Large light warm good facilities comfortable furniture The decking was black icy in the morning (it was March!), perhaps a warning. My stupid fault but nearly a disaster
- Marion (8/5): Very good -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property with everything and more you need for a stay away.
Great communication with host and quick replies when needed.
