- Gillian (10/5): Quaint little bolthole right on the Southwest coast path ideal for walkers or for visiting beaches - Location was good just outside of Braunton and right on the SW coast path/Tarka trail There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Tracey (8/5): - It was peaceful, very close to the South West Coastal Path which we were walking, the beds were comfortable, the beer and gin and tonic a lovely gesture. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Richard (10/5): Excellent and very happy - I loved this property and the lay out of it
It’s quite small but ideal for two of you and love the fixtures and furnishings. I honestly couldn’t find anything I didn’t like
- Luke (10/5): -
- Chrissy (8/5): Cute little house - good location - a lovely stay thanks -
- Duncan (10/5): Fantastic little property, lovely and quiet, short walk to shops and bars etc and beaches -
- Grapes (9/5): Fabulous, modern, self-contained studio in great location for Braunton and North Devon. - All pretty amazing. Pre-arrival admin and contact efficient, flexible and friendly. Location - 5 min walk from Braunton centre and a couple of mins from the big Tesco. Lovely modern little studio with bed on mezzanine floor. Very thoughtful welcome and breakfast pack. Comprehensive info pack, books and maps. Comfy sofa with flat screen TV and access to streaming channels. Lovely shower. Tasteful natural wood finishes. At £70, fabulous value. Noted things we didn't use - outdoor furniture accessed through French doors, outdoor post-beach shower. All very carefully thought through and executed. Well done. Nothing that we "didn't like". Note that the stepladder up to the bed on the mezzanine floor is quite steep.
- Frida (10/5): Cosy+comfy, such a cute place to stay, sadly me and my partner were only here for 1 night so we will - Cosy+comfy, such a cute place to stay, sadly me and my partner were only here for 1 night so we will deffinatly be back again !!! Everything we could ever need was supplied eg. breakfast, toiletries etc. They also had maps which was nice as you don’t usually see them. Over all fantastic space and will definitely be back. I can’t really think of anything, the only thing that would be nice is maybe a stove top, otherwise perfect

- Hannah (10/5): A cute little stay ideal for our mini trip to north Devon - The gate code was sent via message and was easy to use
- jacqui (9/5): - Host met us at property and showed us how too use security lock and gave us keys
Kitchen adequately equipped with microwave and fridge. Host also left lovely basket with porridge, pastries, beverages, as well as cereal and tea coffee etc and milk in the fridge. Bathroom spotless and also well equipped in case you left anything at home.
Bed Great and slept well
Home lovely and warm with great heating and fantastic lighting from outside
Accommodation close to barnastable town at best 5-10 min walk to local shops & restaurants
We got breakfast from the Quay about 5 mins or so in car back of a large Superstore Tesco
Great communication ftom hosts prior to arrival due to husband’s medical needs and shared perfect information of local GPS, hospital, shopping centres and beaches. Gave us our Privacy throughout stay but nothing was too much if needed anything
Great parking outside and so much h to do in the area.
Thanks Charlene & Chris for helping us bring in the new year lovely
Highly recommend to anyone 👌🏿 Love to have a cooker but knew that before we got there. But as said hosts provided a lovely breakfast basket which kept us full for the 5 days there. Plus also lots of shops nearby who sell breakfast etc so won't go hungry

- Griffith (10/5): - I liked the area (very quiet & secure)the cleanliness, the fact tea, coffee, milk ,sugar & breakfast cereal's & munchies were all provided!!!(At no extra charge)
There was also a bookcase full of maps & books which I've not seen(surprisingly) in accomodation of this kind. I really can't think of anything negative to say about this place.
It was pretty much perfect.
Oh,a conventional oven would have been nice (there was a microwave) but that's really all I can think that would make it even nicer.

- Jason (10/5): A comfortable stay at the Skyeloft that ticked all the boxes. - The Skyeloft was a great last minute choice for me to complete my walk of the North Devon Coast. The property was well thought out and cosy, the treats left out on arrival were very well received. The communications with Chris were spot on, do yourself a favour and book this property if it’s available. Parking and an easy walk into town also a bonus. Everything was just perfect.

- Joanne (10/5): We had a very nice and comfortable stay at the Skyeloft. - Very well done annexe with ladder to a mezzanine double bed.
Very well equipped with everything we needed for our three day stay.
The bed was very comfortable.
The welcome basket was a nice touch on arrival. You need to be able bodied to manage the ladder.
- Tasleem (10/5): a mini home from home would definitely love to stay again if we are in the area and highly recommend it to family and fr - The property is clean, cosy, finished to a high standard and has everything you need, it is well located close to beautiful beaches and countryside with shops, restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. The welcome breakfast basket was well appreciated and a lovely touch as well as the cold drinks on arrival
- Kira (10/5): -
- Doris (9/5): - Sehr freundliche Besitzerin und wirklich tolle Ausstattung. Es hat uns super gefallen. Vielen Dank :)
- Sue (10/5): - Had everything we could need and such good use of the space, plus b responsive hosts even though they were on holiday.
- Patrick (9/5): Very happy. - Perfect for a night away on a golf trip. Very clean and well located.
- Alison (10/5): Best accommodation on SWCP - Ver welcoming with nice gift parcel Ladder was not a problem for me( age75) but people with mobility issue may fix it difficult.
- Darryl (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (9/5): A charming and well appointed studio - The Skyeloft is a really charming and comfortable studio not far from the SWCPath and close to shops and restaurants in Braunton. The host Chris met us on arrival and showed us around and had put cold drinks in the fridge for us which was much appreciated in such a hot day! Nothing! But our tired legs found the ladder to the loft ,where the bed was, a little difficult after such a strenuous day!
- David (8/5): Nice. - The place was excellent and clean and cleverly designed to fit into a spare space conjoined to the hosts’ house. The build must be quite recent and all the appointments are new and convenient. It is a permanent bugbear of mine that no accommodation provider offers the simple gesture of a cold beer or drink in the fridge; it seems that gesture is universally ignored to save a small handful of quid each night. But not these hosts, they recognized that that gesture goes a long way, and it was delightful to relax over a cold beer and a can of gin and tonic on arrival. Well done. What that means, in my view, is that, if asked, the hosts would go the extra mile for us if it came to it. As it happens we didn’t need to ask. It is also interesting that the intriguingly designed space had a bookshelf with (my guess) the biggest collection of maps relevant to the southwest portion of the UK outside the Cartographers’ Guild. Had circumstances been different, we could’ve stayed a week to pore over them. Recommended.
- Christopher (7/5): Hi chance we will return - Comfy, charming, very nice place Ladder to bedroom is a bit hairy
- Hendrina (10/5): Great little home from home - Superhost, extra attention: welcome drinks, breakfast oatmeal. Great little home from home. Nothing, everything was great. Maybe fix the rolling curtain cord of the front door?😅
- Julian (9/5): Everything you need - Lovely and clean and the goodies left by the owners are a very welcoming touch. Braunton was lovely too.
- Alex (8/5): Really nice pad - Easy to find and very nicely laid out., cosy mezzanine Tv wouldn't work, could have found hosts next door but was too tired after work so iPad sufficed.
- Alex (10/5): Quiet bliss - Absolutely fabulous, compact accommodation providing everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom, comfortable couch and bed and all in a spectacularly quiet corner of the village. Easy walking distance to major supermarket and village centre. Terrific value, look no further... Nothing to dislike.
- Michael (9/5): We were very impressed with the area and we look forward to another break here when we can. - The food package that was left for us was ideal and welcoming upon our arrival. The location was perfect for our walks of the South West Coast Path. The local shops and Tesco Supermarket provided us with all that we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our stay and have no real criticisms, perhaps a long mirror / plug availability for hair drying would be advantageous.
- Hema (9/5): Cool tiny house - Lovely little space, the owners are great communicators and added a nice touch by providing me with a vegan welcome basket 🖤💚
- Shuan (10/5): Fantastic and very comfortable -
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Simon (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jacqui (10/5): Exceptional - The attention to detail was fantastic. Great welcome box although we didn’t use it, extensive binder with useful information, loved the collection of books and maps and fresh coffee for the morning 👍 Nil
- Brett (9/5): Gem of a place - Great communication, parking, easy access, super clean & well equipped. Very comfortable and cosy plus a lovely little welcome pack which was greatly appreciated. Two minor things to score a ten would have been a grill (something like a George Foreman) as I missed my bacon and a little storage upon the mezzanine to put away my things l as I was staying for 5 nights but it was virtually perfect 👌
- Edward (9/5): Superb -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and everything you needed Everything was great. It was really comfy and good value for money.
- Chris (10/5): Great - Great Nothing
- Kirsty (10/5): Very nice - Very well designed Nothing
- Stephen (10/5): A great nights sleep in a lovely space. - Everything immaculately clean amazing space and brilliantly designed and built to a very high standard.

- Clarice (10/5): PERFECT! - The most lovely tiny house I’ve ever seen, so comfortable and felt like home. It was a great place to stay while walking the South West Coast Path!
- Bernie (10/5): Perfect Skyeloft! - The attention to detail; spotlessly clean, a lovely welcome pack, and fresh milk in the fridge. The decor was of a high specification. The position is perfect for walks along the Tarka Trail and SWPath. Nothing!
- Darktux (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Fantastic! Would recommend - Quirky little place, but everything you need. Exceptional use of a small space…you had everything you need
- Trev (10/5): If Carlsberg did accommodation.... - I liked everything about the place.
It was perfect accommodation hosted by lovely people. Nothing!
- Benjamin (10/5): Enjoyable - Cosy and affordable
- Fanni (10/5): Excellent stay with great hosts - I had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was lovely, and the hosts were amazing, adding thoughtful personal touches that made it feel extra special. From breakfast supplies, snacks, and tea to even toothbrushes, they had everything covered. Highly recommend staying here!
- Andy (9/5): A perect little stopover. - Thoughtfulness of the host ( Chris ), with a lovely “Welcome Pack” for what was only an overnight stay. Greatly appreciated! Snug, warm & cozy - a real tonic after a wet walk! A little off the beaten track to find. But, easy enough to rejoin SW Coast Path, once you figure out the Footpath!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Loved it, beautiful bolt hole in a beautiful part of the country. - Really cosy and comfortable. Nothing
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (10/5): A really great little place - Brilliant use of the space and built to the highest quality.
- Steven (10/5): fantastic! it’s a bit of an adventure and very unique! loved it - very well presented, expertly finished and beautifully clean nothing ! it’s really well thought out
- Holly (10/5): Lovely cosy stay! - Great place to stay and excellent hosts!
- Matthew (10/5): Wonderful. Must stay if in Braunton - Lovely cozy place. Fantastic shower, beautifully laid out, comfy sofa, great lighting, comfy bed, a wonderful array of books and information about the local area. What blew my mind was the amount of extras, I arrived solo, but they had included
continental breakfast in packages for two for two days and they were top quality, Danish pastries, coffee (filter) every tea you can imagine, plus everything you would need in the kitchen. In the bathroom they had full bottles of sunscreen and hand gel, as well as shampoo and a packet of toothbrushes. I don't know how they do it. The host also gave me detailed instructions step by step on the best ways to get here by public transport. There is nothing I didn't like. I'm not a fan of ladders however, haha! There are some quite steep steps up to the bedroom duplex (it's called the skyeloft!!) However, the owner obviously a good builder has included a convenient metal pole near the top of the steps which makes the climb down a piece of cake. My strategy was place you foot on the fourth step then swivel around. It was great hearing the rain on the loft windows in the morning, looking up at the sky. Windows have blinds. M
- Andrea (10/5): The Skeloft is good value for a lovely self contained stay, great quality and lovely little touches. - Super clean, modern, comfortable, well decorated & furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Everything I needed was there. A lovely welcome pack of food & drink items, milk, tea and coffee, much appreciated. A useful folder of info.
Good communication from the owner. Ease of check in with a code sent on the day.
A very nice shower, a comfy bed, a comfy sofa. Driveway parking. A nice outdoor area if needed.
I felt safe & secure. Nicely self contained and completely separate to main property. Nothing
