The hosts were both lovely, we even got a hello from their little dog who was just gorgeous. The Lodge itself was well kitted out with bits and pieces to enhance your stay; puzzles, a working tv, and a beautiful garden area with a little play area. I didn't dislike anything!

• Olena (10/5): A magical stay – peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for families - We had a truly magical stay! The four of us felt completely comfortable from the moment we arrived. The property is nestled in a wonderfully secluded area, offering peace and tranquillity - exactly what we needed after two intense days of cheerleading competition in the city. The garden, lake, and fountain were beautiful, and the children's playground was a great bonus - our girls had an absolute blast there! The hosts were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and their lovely dog made the experience even more enjoyable for all of us. Highly recommended - we would absolutely stay here again if we're ever in the area! Absolutely nothing.

Easy access The two single beds squeaked and moved but would probably be okay with kids sleeping in them. Also can hear the house quite a bit from early in that twin room.

• Sharon (8/5): Very good - The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for an overnight stay after our ferry. The host was very quick to reply to any queries. Any dishes can be taken to the main house to be washed up, but maybe a bowl could be provided for this. If it was on top of the fridge, then it would be out of the way.
• Ting (7/5): General OK for short stay - Nice view with quite location. It’s not proper lodge, only part of the property- haven’t got kitchen, only microwave, toaster and kettle in master room. And even the bathroom in the master room as well. So children have to go through the master room every time for the toilet.

• Elle (10/5): Best sleep ever - Extremely comfortable bed, the best nights deep sleep I’ve had in a long while. Beautiful location, garden views surrounded by trees. Very private and plenty of parking which is essential after driving from London and going off again to my evening course coming back late
• Sarah (9/5): Superb - Host was v helpful. Excellent and safe parking. Quiet location. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable. Well equipped. A few minor niggles but I do think it would make a difference - TV being in the twin room only, thought it may be in the lounge or may be have one in the double room too. Fridge in the wardrobe in the double room could be heard intermittently during the night firing up which woke me (consider getting a silent one). Smoke alarm flashed during the eve (in double room). No bedside lamp in the twin room. Had to take the battery out of the clock in the twin room as has a v loud tick. Consider a bath mat to go inside the bath as my mum struggled to get out.

• Julia (9/5): A beautifully appointed property, we really enjoyed our stay. - Absolutely loved the house. Beautiful decor, felt very luxurious and clean. Check in was easy and the electric gates to the property worked great with the fob on the key. The bathroom was beautiful and large and accessed through 1 of the bedrooms. Fine for us with two children but may be awkward if staying with friends. We loved our stay, thank you! A toaster would have been great. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor playground as it was covered in wasps. Maybe a blind for the main bedroom window?

• Amir (10/5): A beautiful, luxurious family holiday lodge - As a family we really liked the big outdoor space, also the bedrooms were very good size. It had a luxurious feel when we stayed here, everything was clean and immaculate! The kids park area and the pond could have been cleaned more. It would have been ideal to have a toaster and a small sink.

Room was a lovely space and such a nice peaceful garden May a light continental breakfast as have to drive to shops, but really wasn't a issue. If you kniw in advance what your going to their us a little fridge for items

• Colin (9/5): Superb - A really great space, loads of parking, huge garden area with lots to do there. Inside it is immaculate and super modern. Used the bbq for it evening meal and a picnic outside on the grass. Slept really well, beds were very comfortable! The smoke alarm in the bedroom emits a bright flash every few minutes, so you have to sleep facing away from it, but really that’s nit picking as there is so little that needs improving, lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for you!

The garden looks stunning and a value added play area for the kids to themselves. My children did not want to leave and we enjoyed our stay. Felicia left toys out for my kids and they loved it. Thank you to the owners who were very friendly. I will be returning.

The property is located in a private area, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. Felicia was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The garden is beautifully maintained, featuring a charming little lake and a play area, which was perfect for our daughter. The entire place was clean and well-kept, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a serene getaway. Everything was perfect 👍
