We tried two different room options the first with 2 beds the second with one bed a smaller room. The second one was adequate however the bathroom was awkward and small but considering the price we paid suited the purpose. Am sure you don’t have an endless budget for overhauls and renovations all of that takes time.

• Donna (8/5): A nice friendly place to stay. - Breakfast was a basic toast, cereals, fruit, coffee/tea/juice/water but clean and welcoming. The rooms were a bit dated but comfortable. The staff were absolutely lovely, very accommodating. A very simplistic motel but fantastic if you are travelling with pets. I will be keeping it in mind if I need a motel that I can bring my Bullmastiff to and be welcomed. I did see they had electric car chargers there, even though I didn't need it. The motel is very basic, so if you are expecting all the bells and whistles I wouldn't book it. A bit expensive for what you got but I suppose in todays economy that is to be expected.

• Jacqueline (9/5): Convenient overnight stay near UNE - Really lovely staff, very clean and a great location for accessing a University of New England graduation which was the purpose of the visit. Short drive to take away and supermarket, well equipped kitchenette, ample supply of towels and toiletries. Continental breakfast included in a spacious breakfast area. Would definitely stay again. Smoking area was right outside our door and strong smoke smell from the neighbours regularly crept into our room.

Pet friendly was a huge bonus for us. Bed was very soft and any movement by anyone else on the bed would rock the entire bed.
