• emma (6/5): Nice stay for a relaxed night in the mountains but lacking amenities, and food and drink. - Lovely little villa style rooms that had clean room and comfortable bed, you feel nice and secluded/private. Work needing done - both around the premises and within the rooms as door handles falling off and holes in bathroom. Not a lot of amenities included in the room I.e hairdryer, tv, kettle or fridge. These are not stated to be included but with the secluded location and limited food options in the main restaurant, this would be a good addition. Also no complimentary water etc provided in the room. Pool was not available when we were there. Breakfast was buffet style there was a short wait/ had to ask for food/cutlery/plates to be replenished and when busy needed to wait for a table. No drinks menu and when we went to pay we were charged €40 for 4 glasses of wine - 10 mins down the hill this was around €3/4 a glass and this is the most expensive we have seen in the whole of our trip around Albania. We were not told the price until checkout where multiple wrong items were added to the bill. This was swiftly sorted. Also, plastic plants in pots, slightly strange in the middle of pristine natural beauty.

The dinner was the best we had on our 12 day trip to Albania, it was so good that we had it both nights we stayed here (Thank you Chef!). Patrick took great care of us the entire time! Highly recommend and we plan to come back.

• Harry (10/5): Truly top 5 accommodations - The hotel looks good on booking and even better when you arrive to the point where we used the swimming pool despite it being freezing ha. The experience of breakfast above the pool with the back drop of the mountains/landscape is top life experiences. The bath tub upstairs in the room is easily the best bath iv ever tagged in. The man working front of house/reception is very hard working and very good at his job. We couldn't get the radiators to work and the rooms are a bit cold, especially downstairs. The location is good but its a bit out from the village so you need a car

• Oshrat (5/5): Its ok. Not for family - Location was great. The overall look is pretty. Staff was very kind and helpful We are a couple traveling with a two-year-old child. We received a two-story room connected by open spiral stairs. It was terrible with a child who constantly wanted to go up and down, requiring continuous supervision. In addition, the room was very cold (since it was extremely cold in the area), and there was air conditioning only on the upper floor — so downstairs was freezing while upstairs was comfortable. On one of the days, there was also no hot water in the shower. It was a nightmare. They claimed that one of their pipes had burst. In addition- The breakfast was poor and very basic as well. The bread was dry.

Знаходиться вище села Theth (хвилин 10 машиною до села і хвилин 20-25 до парковки Blue Eye), але в цьому і суть, що з нього відкривається чудовий вигляд на всю долину. Номери чисті, персонал дуже привітний. Смачний та різноманітний сніданок Влітку працює басейн, також є мінігольф. Нам дуже сподобалось

• Marie (10/5): Onvergetelijk verblijf! - Wat een onvergetelijk verblijf. Het hotel was prachtig, het uitzicht adembenemend en het eten met veel liefde bereid. Toch is het vooral de warmte en oprechte vriendelijkheid van het personeel die ons het meest zal bijblijven. Via deze weg willen we hen nogmaals uit de grond van ons hart bedanken voor hun snelle en professionele reactie toen wij te maken kregen met een noodgeval op een bergtop. Op het moment dat de noodnummers ons in de steek lieten, stonden de mensen van Hotel Thethi er wél voor ons. Dat zullen we nooit vergeten. Duizendmaal dank. -Groetjes van de 7 meiden uit België /

• Thomas (9/5): Amazing, authentic, warm place - The place is amazing. Beautiful spot, friendly and lovely staff, one with nature. A lot of young people enjoying life. The dinner in the evening was amazing! It is still a construction site (aug 2025), rooms are quite noisy and the road towards the hotel is really bad.

• Gentian (1/5): Unacceptable and threatening experience at Thethi Hotel - Nothing - it's not a legitimate establishment Absolutely unacceptable and threatening experience at Thethi Hotel — avoid this "establishment" at all costs. As an international guest visiting from the U.S., I had a deeply disturbing experience with Hotel Thethi. I had booked two rooms months in advance via Booking.com for a stay in June, and had received both written confirmation via the platform and direct confirmation from the hotel staff (via phone and message) that our reservation was secured. Shockingly, on the day of our arrival, we were told that our reservation was cancelled — despite having already paid for it. There was no prior notice. When we called, the hotel owner REYMONDA was extremely unprofessional, yelling on the phone and blaming the issue on “internet connection,” which is clearly a lie as we had all confirmations in writing. The situation escalated to a point that was not only unprofessional, but dangerous: REYMONDA threatened us verbally, inviting us to “come to the property so we can fight with weapons.” I can assure you on our side we were upset customers complaining about the experience, but Thethi Hotel escalated it to a dangerous and threatening point. We were shocked - no guest, local or international, should ever be spoken to this way, let alone threatened with violence. In the end the alternative Reymonda offered was to "stay in her room/house".... Which given all of the negative experiences we had, was not accepted as we had zero trust in this property at this point. Also we booked 2 hotel rooms, not a stay in a strangers house. This was not just poor service - it was hostile and threatening behavior from someone in a position of responsibility. I strongly advise others not to book with this hotel, and I urge Booking.com to remove them from their offered Hotels. As an American guest visiting Albania for the first time, Thethi Hotel delivered a horrendous experience that I will never forget.
• Millicent (7/5): Beautiful views! - Hotel Thethi was nice, they provided a beautfiul sunset dinner for an affordable price. The view is incredible but location wasn't ideal for those doing the hike from Valbone to Theth (like we did). It is an addtional 1.5 hours walk up the mountain after finishing the 7 hour hike. We booked it for the pool, but in hindsight the "luxury" vibe of the hotel felt a little wrongly placed amidst the stunning natural landscape of the Alps, although this might be the experience some guests are looking for when visiting Theth. The hotel also felt underconstruction, the photos are accurate but there is a lot of empty space around the hotel.

En el valle del río Shala, con agua cristalina y cascadas. El desayuno fantástico, tipo bufet, diverso, con productos albaneses. Vale realmente la pena. Gastronomía del país auténtica, fabulosa. La atención de todo el personal del hotel, excepcional. Volveremos seguro La valoración general es muy positiva. Deben cuidar ciertos detalles como, en la cena en la terraza del hotel, ausente de luz, poner unas velitas en la mesa para que la gente vea un poquito u ofrecer unas mantitas por el frío, dada la ubicación del hotel en plenos Alpes Albaneses

La habitación triple fue muy incómoda para 3 personas y durante la noche que estuvimos ahí, los vecinos hicieron un ruido inmenso y no nos dejaron dormir. El hotel no colaboro con eso ya que según ellos, no les podían decir nada, aunque varios huéspedes se quejaban. La comida no estuvo bien. Muy poca comida y muy costosa para lo que fue. Aparte que el personal de servicio no estaba del todo capacitado.

Overlooking the valley with a beautiful view. The room we stayed at was incredible, decoration was 10/10 and it was very clean. The best part about the hotel was the staff. Every single one of them was so welcoming and took very good care of us, including the owners. Special mention to Aleks for going above and beyond. They all showed us what Albanian hospitality is all about.

• Jip (9/5): Zeker dit hotel boeken! - We kregen een upgrade omdat het hotel nog lege kamers overhad. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk voor ons en kwam ons alles brengen dat we nodig hadden. Iedereen stond de heletijd voor ons klaar. Het ontbijd was super uitgebreid en overheerlijk. Zwembad en ontbeid hebben prachtig uitzicht over de bergen. Het hotel heeft een magische locatie. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een storm. Hierdoor viel het licht uit en hadden we geen wifi. Ze probeerden dit wel op te lossen en kwamen ons licht op batterijen brengen zodat we iets konden zien. Uiteindelijk werd het pas in de ochtend hersteld.

El pueblo queda a 15 minutos en coche por carreteras de montaña... Quizás el baño pequeño para lo que es la estancia que es relativamente grande. Y el acceso al hotel sin asfaltar. Están construyendo mucho alrededor.

• Jackson Family (8/5): Stylish family villa with stunning mountain views! - The surroundings of the hotel are partly still under construction, but it’s clear that the area will be magnificent once completed. We stayed in a villa with our family and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation: modern, cozy, and stylish. Our double room was located on the first floor of the villa, while the kids slept comfortably in the living area on two sofa beds. A steep walk uphill takes you to the dining and breakfast area, which offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and overlooks a beautiful swimming pool. The breakfast area is not yet fully organized, and the food served is quite traditional, which might not appeal to everyone. Unfortunately, we had to deal with a large number of bees and wasps, which was a bit stressful when trying to enjoy a quiet breakfast. Due to the ongoing construction, parking spaces were limited, and we had to park a bit further up the street.

• Baerti (8/5): Ein sehr gutes Hotel in den albanischen Alpen - Wir hatten ein Luxuszimmer gebucht, dass unseren Erwartungen auch voll entsprach. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich. Auch die gesamte Hotelanlage ist sehr schön gestaltet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Abendessen, bestehend aus mehreren Gängen, an. Jedoch gab es an beiden Abenden das gleiche Essen. In einer Nacht war das Hotel voll belegt, so dass das Frühstücksbüfet doch erheblich darunter gelitten hat. Ohne Auto ist das Hotel schwer erreichbar, da es doch etwas außerhalb von Theth liegt.
