• Nicole (10/5): - Loved everything about our holiday in Villa Seyian. Lovely villa with a pool, extremely clean and tidy & very comfortable. The host Efi was wonderful, very kind and went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was amazing, she helped organise car hire, recommended places to visit and one morning even dropped us off the most delicious breakfast from her favourite bakery. Thank you so much :) Great location for exploring Crete, would recommend hiring a car but there is a bus stop right outside the villa which takes you to Chania. Loved the little cafe one minute away which did the best freddo cappuccinos and bougatsa.

• Jenny (10/5): - Jeg, min søster og min mor har bodd en uke i Villa Seyian. En uke i forkant av oppholdet kontaktet jeg Efi, husets eier på instagram for å sjekke hvordan vi lettest kan komme oss til og fra, og Efi rådet oss til å leie en bil da man kan parkere rett utenfor døren til villaen. Angrer ikke et sekund på at vi leide bil, det var billig og enkelt å komme seg til og fra. Når vi kom frem var Efi her selv for å møte oss og vise oss rundt i villaen. Villa Seyian er virkelig et syn! Det er et nydelig mursteinshus med delikate farger, nydelig innredet, tre soverom, tre bad, stue og kjøkken. Sengene er fantastiske, vi har sovet som steiner, og det er godt med plass til å henge opp klær og pakke ut. Det er TV med Chromecast på alle rom, så man kan være litt for seg selv om man vil. På kjøkkenet er oppvaskmaskin, kaffemaskin, vaskemaskin, kombiskap og ellers alt du behøver for å lage mat. Det er insektsnetting foran alle vinduer og dører, veldig bra. Håndsåpen, dusjsåpe og alle rengjøringsmidlene lukter skikkelig godt og vi hadde ikke behov for å kjøpe noe som helst da alt var her fra før. Uterommet er delikat med spisebord under tak, 150cm dypt basseng (perfekt!), utedusj, grill, utekjøkken, planter, solsenger og solstoler. Uteområdet er nydelig på dagtid, og helt magisk på kvelden! Uteområdet er helt usjenert fra naboer, og villaen ligger i et veldig stille og rolig strøk i Galatas. Det er apotek rett opp i gaten, minimarket, frisør og flere restauranter i gangavstand. Den aller fineste stranden er 5 minutter unna med bil (Sunset Beach/Agii Apostoli), og der er det gratis parkering. Villaen ligger helt perfekt til midt mellom sentrum og shoppingstrøket i Platanias. Om du ikke vil leie bil går bussen rett utenfor døren. Midt i uken ordnet Efi med rengjøring og litt oppfriskning i huset, det var veldig deilig å komme hjem til rent hus etter en lang dag på stranda. Efi har vært en helt fantastisk vertinne, og hun er veldig lett å kommunisere med.
• Sara (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa per cinque giorni con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La proprietaria è stata davvero gentilissima e accogliente: al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare dolci e specialità greche da assaggiare, un gesto che ci ha fatto sentire subito i benvenuti. La casa è stupenda, luminosa e piena di luce naturale, con un’atmosfera rilassante in cui si sta davvero bene. Tutto era estremamente pulito, elegante e curato nei minimi dettagli. Si vede quanto amore e attenzione siano stati messi in questo posto. Ha superato di gran lunga le nostre aspettative e torneremmo sicuramente volentieri. Consigliatissima!

• Sihang (10/5): - Everything! This is the best villa we stayed during our trip in Greece! The facilities are super clean and tidy. The host is very friendly and takes care of her villa carefully. The space is big enough for a family, the beds are super comfortable, we have separate toilets for each family members which is extra nice. Many restaurants nearby, easy to park - just one step in front of the villa. Highly recommended! Nothing, all perfect!

• Kundiso (10/5): The biggest blessing in our 2025 summer. Thank you for Efi! - No words could make this review as outstanding as Efi is! (TLDR: The home of dreams!) Efi and Alex’s home is really is a home away from home. I’ve been in touch with Efi for months since I booked the villa - she has been my eyes on the ground planning and organising things to the detail to make my mum’s birthday surprise a success. Efi went above and beyond - like beyond any person that I have ever known. Her kindness and generosity knows no bounds - that is why Efi and her villa will always have a special place in our heart. The home was immaculate - perfect for all our needs. We had been in constant travel mode prior to arriving in Chania to Efi’s villa and it was the perfect place to just wind down to relax as a family. The house is also wonderfully accessible. My dad has limited mobility, and the ground-floor bedroom and bathroom made it easy for him to move around comfortably from the kitchen to the pool and bedroom. Every detail had been so thoughtfully considered, and everything was spotless. Everything had so so much attention to detail and it was super clean - Efi is super attentive and responsive. Highlighting on attention to detail - the villa has mosquito nets in every window or door passage which is perfect. We loved all the teas provided and goodies from Efi. This was truly our dream home for the week - we’ll definitely be back. Efi, I can’t thank you more than enough for everything you did for us whilst we were planning and when we arrived to leaving. I can’t forget the gifts Efi provided upon our arrival, decor for Mummy’s birthday and even parting mementos from her. Efi made us feel special - very much a big sister to me. The home is gorgeous - if you ever get the privilege to stay here, treat it with the same love poured into it as Efi and her family have poured into it over the last year. This isn’t just a villa - it was truly home to us and that’s why we’ll never forget a golden heart like Efi. Nothing - Efi’s villa is just immaculate and always has enough of everything. Towels for the pool, towels for shower and facilities galore - everything was perfect and so was Efi’s hospitality! There’s so much in the area so you’re never far from a pharmacy, shop or a beach.
• Katrina (10/5): A lovingly and beautifully renovated Villa - can not fault this beautiful property. - We stayed 6 nights in the Villa - Efi was in contact with us and gave us clear instructions to enter the Villa. It was lovely to meet her later and she is a generous and gracious host. It’s our 2nd stay in Galatas and we enjoy this town and all it has to offer as well as a great base for exploring. The Villa is beautifully laid out and has excellent facilities. The beds super comfy, the kitchen well equipped and the pool is lovely for a swim after a day out. We would definitely recommend Villa Seyian as a place to stay. Unfortunately for us, we had 2 nights where dogs in neighbouring properties barked pretty much all night. We moved from our upstairs bedroom to the downstairs bedroom in the hope of it being less of a nuisance - we did find shutting the bedroom door helped but this was not ideal. This is not the fault of the host in anyway but something to note - ( Efi is looking into this).

• Luciano (10/5): - Efi was fantastic! She welcomed us warmly with helpful directions and was always available for any requests. We felt right at home in the villa; it was an incredible experience. Efi was exceptionally kind, even surprising us with thoughtful gifts during our stay. A special mention goes to the cleanliness throughout the week, which was outstanding. The villa has everything you need for a fantastic stay, and the local products she provided were a lovely touch. We had a wonderful weekend in Crete and highly recommend staying here!

• Karen (10/5): Family Holiday 2025 - Villa Seyian is located in Galatas, a village less than 2km from the seafront with restaurants, shops and beach bars. There are buses that run every hr and pick up outside the villa, €2 per trip (cash or card) Galatas itself has a couple of Tavernas that are good for a drink or a traditional Cretan meal, there are mini markets, pharmacy, coffee shop and butchers in the village. The villa is superb, it has everything you need, we were a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 Children) and there was more than enough room. The outside space is great, plenty of shade if needed and the freshwater swimming pool is perfect, well maintained and clean. Our hosts Efi and Alexis were superb, kept in touch, worked around our plans when they wanted to clean the house and pool, nothing was too much trouble. They also provided some complimentary Cretan cuisine and drinks for us to try, not expected but it was such a nice touch. We had a fantastic holiday, explored Crete which is stunning and go home recharged and relaxed. We would 100% recommend booking this Villa from Efi and Alexis. We have no complaints - perfect.

Au petits soins avec des conseils et des cadeaux Crétois aux douces saveurs. On recommande vivement ce lieu et si on revient en Crête on reviendra là. Un grand Merci. C'était parfait

Située dans un environnement calme, elle reste pourtant proche des principaux sites à visiter, ce qui est très pratique. Un grand merci à la propriétaire, accueillante, sympathique et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter !

The villa was perfectly clean and the location was ideal for us: the bus stop to Chania was right next to the villa and there were few restaurants, a bakery and two mini markets nearby. We felt welcomed by the host, Efi, the second we arrived and she gave us great tips for our visit. The next time we come to Crete, we will definitely choose Villa Seyian again! Nothing.
• Michelle (10/5): Relaxing, aesthetic, beautiful pool and comfortable villa - Wow, Villa Seyian was such a beautiful place for our week holiday in Chania. I booked the villa back in September 2024, soon after it became available as accommodation. On this big family trip, we’ve stayed in 21 different accommodations and our family agrees that Villa Seyian has been the best of them all. Efi is the most generous and friendly host, giving us gifts, helpful tips and recommendations and she keeps the villa perfectly clean too. The pool area is lovely and we took the opportunity to have some BBQ dinners by the pool on some of our evenings there. The beds and bathrooms were so comfortable, the decorations and styling were very aesthetic. We really didn’t want to leave. Thank you Efi for helping to make our time in Chania special. You are the definition of Cretan hospitality and you are setting a very high standard for accommodation in the Chania region. If you have the opportunity to visit Chania, I would highly recommend Villa Seyian as it really is a special place to relax while on holiday. Michelle xx Nothing we didn’t like. On top it was a great place to be with young children, everything was provided. We loved the ‚village‘-character of the sourrounding and everything you need is very close, food, good coffee, pharmacy and the beach :) Efi the host was most helpful, had amazing tips for us for beaches and very good restaurants. We would highly recomend to stay at villa seyan.

Our hosts were very kind and welcomed us with open arms like old friends. The property itself was like a high-class Boutique Hotel. We will definitely stay here if we ever return to Crete. There was nothing negative about this property. Everything was 10 out of 10..

• Jonathan (10/5): Amazing 10/10. Would certainly book again. - Property was finished to a very high standard, furniture etc was great quality, bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. What we loved was the host, she provided all the essentials for when we arrived so we were able to settle in straight away. I chose the location as I wanted to be in a more authentic part of Greece, local shop, butchers, cafe within a few minutes walk. Authentic local restaurants also in a short distance. Best Villa host I have ever encountered. A proper sofa would have been a bonus but didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the villa.
• Anne (10/5): Fabulous villa, excellent location and lovely host. - The villa is lovely. It is exceptionally clean, very tastefully decorated with beautiful soft towels and top quality bed linen. We loved the pool and outside dining area. The location is excellent. There is a very well stocked mini market within a 2 minute walk. The village also has a pharmacy, coffee shop and a superb authentic Cretan restaurant which is easily walkable - about 5 mins away. Efi is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful.
