Guest Reviews
- Will (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Clean, tidy and comfortable. No complaints at all.
- Alistair (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (7/5): The building was very clean with a clean well appointed kitchen. - Breakfast not included. Location quite convenient. A sign saying "The Vicarage" would have been helpful as the building was quite difficult to find and actually had a different name on the gate. We could hear people talking and walking about quite clearly in the next room and overhead. It could have been mentioned it was so near the docks.
- Joanne (8/5): Lovely apartment which is thoughtfully maintained. - Clean, comfortable, good kitchen and bathroom Struggled to get warm water in shower- was either cold or very hot.
- Sunder (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb - Peaceful location No bath mat/towel.
Tv took ages to work out and didn't get access to some channels.
- Gillian (9/5): Comfortable and quiet, Modern and exceptionally clean - Exceptionally clean and a quiet position Maybe the stairs are a little hard for some people.
- Dougie (10/5): Room was comfy, looks like new, all mod cons (shared kitchen is fine), host was really helpful when I couldn’t figure th - Absolutely immaculate Nothing
- Mary (10/5): Comfortable room and quiet location for a work trip. - It's a very quiet location, the room was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities are good. If you want to cook, find a supermarket before arriving, as the nearest convenience store sells milk but not much else apart from alcohol. The host was very helpful on the phone. There are some historic buildings nearby in Old Sunderland.
- Erika (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and didn’t want to leave. - The room was clean and beautifully decorated.
The bed was comfy
The building was extremely quiet despite other people being in the other rooms. Once inside the room I couldn’t hear anyone else.
The amenities were amazing- lovely kitchen and beautiful living room. I loved everything
- Rod (7/5): Neat and tidy apartment in a residential area. Quiet but not much close by. - The apartment was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well equipped. We had apartment #3 and unfortunately there was a type of generator below our window which kicked in every 30-45 minutes. Being a light sleeper it was very difficult to remain asleep. This detracted immensely from what was otherwise a very good apartment block.
- Paula (9/5): The perfect place - The Vicarage was a great value stay. Very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Parking was easy and getting in and out of the property was stress free. It was very quiet being situated in an historical part of the city. The area has no facilities. All amenities are a drive away. There is a small, local store on the Hendon Road otherwise you could walk into town or drive to out of town shopping for food and petrol such as Asda in Grangetown.
- Miller (9/5): Superb - Peaceful location. Very clean. Smart tv was dodgy and needed frequent resetting.
- Joan (5/5): Booked at the last minute due to a mix-up with our original booking but felt ripped off. - The access was easy, room was clean and towels were soft. We paid over £300 for a room only, more than 3 times the going rate, same as a top hotel but no facilities. Bed very soft, no hairdryer (though they brought one on request), no tea/coffee and tv didn't work.
- Julie (9/5): Very pleasant - Comfy brds, private apartment, comfy roomy lounge, Couldn't close blinds, bulb went in bathroom - nothing that couldn’t be sorted
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Malc (10/5): Spotlessly clean pad with tasteful furniture and decor, just what I was looking for. - Did not have breakfast or use the kitchen facilities but they were very nice. Sat nav took me to a run down pub down the road and the building had no identification, so spent some time trying to find the property.
- Bev (10/5): Beautiful building, easy to get access to the building, very clean room everything we needed and fab view. Definitely - Clean, fresh and welcoming
- Lewis (10/5): Great stay - Very clean ,cozy and for the price perfect Nothing overall great little spot
- Kieran (10/5): . - . .
