• Guus (10/5): Best experience in Racha county hands down! - From start to finish we we’re received with open arms from the host Mischa who took us up the mountain with his jeep. The stay is beautiful and has this amazing view over the valley and mountains. It has a long history from multiple generations and there are loads of things to do on and outside of the property. That we only stayed one night :(

• Olga (10/5): - Понравилось всё!!!! Даже дождливая погода не испортила отдых. Проживали две ночи и три дня. Хозяин Миша ( про этого человека можно написать книгу) позвонил в день заселения и объяснил , где он нас встретит. В первый день было солнечно, сходили в небольшой хайк к водопаду ,природа завораживает ! Тропинка начинается прямо от гостевого дома и вдоль всего пути есть указатели и метки, чтобы не сбиться с пути, которые хозяин гостевого дома проставлял лично для удобства гостей , да и вообще туристов. В номере чистота и уют, видно любовь хозяина к деталям . Вид из номера просто нереальный! Второй день был дождь и хозяин предложил сходить в театр, купил билеты и просто подарил их нам! Вообще помощь Миши (хозяина)бесценна, и подскажет где ,что посмотреть, где ,что купить, сам отвезет, привезет. Широкой души человек и просто ооочень интересный собеседник. А как он любит свой край, свою работу, свой дом, вообще жизнь и людей - от него просто заряжаешься энергией ! Перед отъездом провел нам экскурсию по своему дому, которому ,на секундочку, больше 130 лет!! Это настоящий музей! Каждая деталь пропитана историей и как хорошо, что он это всё сохраняет и с удовольствием делится с гостями. Ах да, еще, на территории есть полностью оборудованная кухня , со всем необходимым, кофемашина,разные сорта чая, варенье. Есть летняя веранда с мангальной зоной , откуда просто потрясающий вид! Вообще там каждую минуту хочется что-то фотографировать : окружающие виды, элементы декора и ландшафта. Эмоции переполняют!!! Я могла бы еще много написать, но лучше самому поехать и прочувствовать все это. И попробуйте Мишино вино, это сказка! Обязательно вернемся, так как три дня оказалось совсем мало.
• Evgeniya (10/5): Все превосходно! - В этом месте великолепно ВСЁ без преувеличения 😍😍😍 это любовь с первой секунды. Сюда нужно ехать как минимум для того, чтобы познакомиться с его чудесным хозяином - Мишей ❤️❤️❤️ (нам же повезло еще познакомиться и с его чудесными родителями). Даже до приезда, вы уже будете окутаны его заботой. А уж после… Здесь отдыхаешь по-настоящему: и мыслями, и душой, и телом; как-будто в самом воздухе царят добро и покой. Такая волшебная там атмосфера ✨✨✨ Сколько любви вложено в это уютное родовое «гнёздышко». Из минусов хочу отметить лишь недостаток времени. Были 2 дня, но с удовольствием остались бы минимум на 5. Это совершенно другой уровень (как будто приехал в дом к близкому другу ❤️), что про банальные бытовые удобства даже и писать не приходит в голову, потому что есть абсолютно все для нашего с вами комфорта. Нет минусов
• Vitalina (10/5): One of the best accommodations in Georgia - This place is heaven on Earth: the views, the vibe, the property, the history! Here you feel welcomed and loved, but with respect to your private space. I've been to quite some places and accommodations in Georgia, and this one is definitely special. It's hard to describe with words, but this place and Misha (the owner & host) have some essential and not very common Georgian spirit, and I am truly grateful for my staying there. We had an amazing dinner, we had an amazing sleep, amazing conversations and amazing nature around us. There is a fully equipped kitchen for you to cook, beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, and a clean bathroom: everything is clean and neat! I just can't recommend this place enough: just book it as soon as possible and check by yourself. Absolutely nothing!

Θα το καταλάβετε από την πρώτη στιγμή, μας βοήθησε σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε και μετέτρεψε το ταξίδι μας σε μια μοναδική εμπειρία!! Φυσικά δεν μπορούμε να παραλείψουμε το τραπέζι που μας έκανε με παραδοσιακά φαγητά, βιώνοντας την γεωργιανή κουλτούρα. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!
• Lemonis (10/5): Magical - This is an exceptional place. Everything is wonderful, the view, the rooms, the place. Misha gives his all to this place and it really shows. He cooked two lovely dinners for us and was there for anything we needed. We also had the chance to ride horses up the mountain which was also very special. A stay to remember! Thank you Misha ❤️🌸

Вы точно не останетесь равнодушными однажды очутившись в этом замечательном месте! Хозяин Миша, вместе со своими родителями и друзьями с большой любовь относятся как к собственному дому (которому на минутку уже более 150 лет), так и ко всем гостям, которые оказываются у них на пороге! Однажды очутившись в княжеском доме, Вы точно захотите сюда вернуться не один раз. Спасибо Миша, мы были очень рады познакомиться с тобой, и твоей семьей!!! • Hollie (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay with Mischa and his family and Gentry House, it has been our favourite place in Georgia and we were very sad to leave. Mischa is an excellent host. We stayed for two nights and had dinner and breakfast, both of which were lovely, with plenty of food and wine! The house is so peaceful , and we spent our days walking in the woods nearby and having a dip on the waterfall. We will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in Racha. Thank you so much Mischa and family!

• Janice (10/5): Special stay with a generous host - This is a fantastic retreat in the hills near Ambrolauri. Our host Misha was so generous with the meals he made us, his wonderful wine and his time. He went out of his way to take us to a vineyard for lunch, about 30 minutes from Gentry House. He then returned to take us back. The rooms are spacious and spotless, there is a seating area in the room as well as a balcony. There is a kitchen for guests if you want to make your own meals. We can highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone We loved everything even the bumpy ride up to the guesthouse!
• Lily (10/5): Exceptionally wonderful stay and host - The Lodging: The Gentry House is located in a beautiful and idyllic location in Racha. Top-notch views, and a wonderful soundscape, especially in the morning (a diversity of birds calling, the gentle sound of cowbells twinkling across the hillside, etc.). The overall estate was unlike anything else we experienced in Georgia, and was a real highlight. Misha's family history is fascinating and several incredible artifacts from the 19th century remain. The room was especially nice -- beautifully furnished and well appointed. 10/10. The Host:  The only thing better than the lodging was the Host/Owner, Misha.  He was interesting, fun and very generous.  The latter is an understatement in the extreme.  My baggage, which did not arrive on the flight to Tblisi, was for all intents and purposes lost...I hadn't received it in over nine days and no one knew where it was.  Misha decided to get to the bottom of it, and 50 phone calls later (no exaggeration), my bag was finally in my possession.  It was incredible. A true hero!  If I could give him 100 out of 10 I would.
• Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional - 11/10. Gentry House is so much more than beautiful rooms, panoramic windows, and stunning nature. It offers a rare and genuine sense of home — a kind of care and warmth you won’t find even in the most luxurious hotels. Here, you are truly welcomed and expected. Misha is a wonderful person who pours his heart into this unique ancestral home, lived in by generations of his family. You feel like a guest in the best possible way — warmly received, yet with complete privacy. For over a kilometer around, there’s no one else, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. A small warning: the only downside is that you won’t want to leave… and you’ll already be planning your next stay the moment you do.

• Milan (10/5): Exceptional - If i could i would like give 11 points. I have never meet host like Misha before. Such a friendly, helpful and hospitable guy. Place is amazing. Old original house and new are next to forest and above valley with beatiful view. Big room and hot water of course. Dinner or rather feast was best from our whole stay in Georgia. You can also try local wine or vodka. One more thank you Misha and i hope that i will come back in future.
• Christina (10/5): Unforgettable Hospitality Amid Mountain Beauty - Gentry House is a beautiful place to stay, set in a stunning location with breathtaking views of Racha, the mountains, and the river. Misha is an incredibly generous, helpful, friendly, and caring host who made us feel like part of the family. Despite the weather not being on our side, we still had a wonderful time!
• James (10/5): Utterly glorious - It does not approach exagerration for me to say that my wife and I could not have wished for a better place to enjoy our honeymoon. The setting of Gentry House is astoundingly stunning with glorious views over the valley of the Rioni River, the surrounding foothills of the Caucasus, and the distant, snow-capped peaks of the higher mountains. The property's owner, Misha Elbakhidze, matches the views in the quality of his hospitality. He is endlessly helpful, touchingly proud of the history of his property and of the local region, quick to address problems, and a great tamada. During our brief stay, he organised for us horseriding, breadmaking, and a Georgian feast, and he offers much more. He is the rare phenomenon of a tour guide without charge! It is advisable to hire your own 4X4 to arrive at Gentry House, as the 1.7km entry track is otherwise impassable. However, Misha will collect you in his own 4X4 at the beginning of the track, should your car be inappropriate. Indeed, in typical Misha generosity, he collected our fellow guests, who did not have a car at all, from Kutaisi airport at 4am!
• Karolina (10/5): An Unforgettable Experience at Gentry House! - We were deeply impressed by our stay at Gentry House, especially thanks to the host, Misha, who made our visit truly special. From the very beginning, we felt at home. Misha warmly welcomed us, prepared a delicious dinner, and we spent a wonderful evening together, enjoying tasty wine and food. The place has a truly unique atmosphere – you can feel that the host puts his heart into it. The room was well-equipped, with SIM cards for internet access waiting for us, and the bathroom had everything we needed, including toothbrushes and other small amenities. The sunrise that woke us up in the morning revealed an incredible view from the window – truly breathtaking! The surroundings are beautiful, with plenty of charming places to discover. Misha gave us a tour of the property and shared the story of his family, which added even more charm to the place. Definitely worth listening to these stories! He also recommended several fantastic spots to visit nearby, which were real gems during our trip. What’s more, the communication with Misha was excellent, even after check-out – he was always happy to answer our questions about Georgia and its customs. This was probably the best stay we've had on Booking in our entire lives, full of authenticity and local life. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience in Georgia! There was not a single thing I didn't like about this property.
• Aylin (10/5): Amazing place - We were looking for a quiet place different from everything tourists are looking for, an hour and a half from Kutaisi, we arrived in Racha, it is better to arrive by jeep, an amazing place, very quiet and natural.. The guy makes amazing and natural wine. Peach vodka, and there is really good meat here, we arrived during the snow period and yet we really enjoyed it. The room is very clean and has everything, hot water all the time and a kitchen equipped with everything. In addition, I must mention that the owner of the place is really a real prince, polite, fun to talk to and travel with. We really got along with him, and we will return in the summer. In the summer, the place is very, very beautiful, everything is shades of green and yellow.. and mountains, in short, a completely positive recommendation
• Karimova (10/5): Place id love to come back again or one of the best spots in Georgia - This place is incredibly beautiful and nice, i would love to come back someday. Not only the place, but people are helpful and kind. The room was clean and cozy, the view from the window is just breathtaking (no kidding), we were lucky to see snow on our visit. I also had a horse riding experience which was so much fun and again the view from that area around the guest house is amazing. There are so many ways to spend time in this place. Just chilling and watching mountains was already enough, but i had some really good and fun time.
• William (10/5): A truly unforgettable stay - The property is in a beautiful setting, deep in nature, and with spectacular views of the river, forest, hills and mountains from the rooms and common areas. We did some nice hikes from the doorstep, too. The rooms are big and comfortable, with hot showers and good Wi-Fi, which is very impressive given the countryside location. Misha is a big-hearted and thoughtful host, and he organised fun activities for the kids like bread-making, and also took us on a tour of the highlights of the local area. He is passionate and knowledgeable about Racha and Georgian culture - indeed the house is full of beautiful historical details and family history - and we especially enjoyed the evening meals together with delicious Georgian dishes and wine and lots of fun! We loved everything about the stay.

Modern, well equipped, clean. But beyond all that, it is probable the owner Misha who makes it so outstanding, telling you the story of the place and caring for every detail. He went beyond what's expected for a host and helped me while I was feeling sick. Thank you very much for the good times. The road to Gentry House is difficult. If in doubt, take Misha's offer to take you in his car.

Amazing place, high in the mountains, the view is breathtaking, and the host is extremely exceptional! Very welcoming and friendly, met us on his car, helped with everything. • Peder (10/5): Exceptional - WOW - this place is something extraordinary!! Breathtaking views with nature just outside the room. The room is brand new and nicely decorated, and is very clean. Micha is an excellent host and this place has been in his family for generations, and he shared a lot of info around the place and agricultural traditions. I would recommend this to all, and we will for sure come back.
• Aish (10/5): Divine Gentry Experience - My husband and I were on our babymoon, and we absolutely loved every minute spent at Gentry house! The views from Misha's property are to die for. Nestled in the mountains, a very cosy Georgian house with all the facilities of a luxury hotel room. We haven't come across a host as warm, helpful and welcoming as Misha. He has an eye for every small detail and made our stay even more beautiful. Right from arranging for a lovely meal keeping in mind of our dietary requirements, to taking us on a day excursion to the lovely Racha region, getting us fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden, he made sure we had a great vacation. We are glad we chose Gentry House for our stay as we couldn't have experienced the beautiful Georgian culture anywhere else. The family house is extremely well maintained and takes you back in time to Georgian history (House is complete museum). Whereas the rooms for guests are absolutely divine, it is modern with a touch of antique. He took care of us when driving us (slow being considerate for being pregnant) to and fro the Gentry house, took us out for the day trip, his mom who was visiting at the time of our stay was so sweet to cook us some delicious pancakes for breakfast. Being in the small village everyone knows everyone it's an experience one shouldn't miss. We hope to come back again to experience this lovely atmosphere and the warmth of the Gentry house.
• Denis (10/5): Exceptional - In over 6+ months of living in Georgia, the most heartwarming and beautiful place my wife and I have visited is Misha's Gentry House. Top 10 reasons to visit this place: 1. Warm welcome: Misha met us in an SUV to comfortably drive us home, telling us the history of the house and family along the way. 2. Beautiful view of the valley from the mountains. 3. The history of Misha's family (as well as Misha's own life) and the house with a rich past of over 120 years is worth a special mention!!!! 4. Centuries of Georgian traditions are preserved in many corners of the family home and surrounding buildings, which Misha personally gives an interesting tour of. 5. Delicious Georgian cuisine. 6. Lovely white wine. 7. Care and kindness from Misha is felt almost always and everywhere. 8. Cosy rooms with stained glass windows. 9. Misha's attention to details is simply amazing: wooden bed, room decoration, interesting wooden construction solutions, etc. 10. And, of course, you will have a wonderful friend Misha and unforgettable memories of your time spent. These are just the key reasons - my top 10. My partner and I stayed at several hotels during our holiday in Georgia and Gentry House was by far the best one. Misha, the owner of the hotel, really goes the extra mile to ensure that guests feel welcome and are provided with everything they need during their stay. We will definitely return when we come back to Georgia.

We traveled a lot around Georgia and if not the best for sure one of the best place. Newly finished wooden house with amazing view. Owner is extremely friendly and can support in every case. Serves great wine and delicious food.

• Svetlana (10/5): Unforgetabble experience for mountain lovers - Georgia is amazing country. People, nature, food and wine, this is what I will remember after my Georgia trip. All this was available in Gentry house. The hotel is located in the heart of Racha region, which is famous for its great wine🍷 😉. The views from the hotel and arounds are just breathtaking. This was not just ordinary hotel stay, that was unforgettable adventure for us. Nearly untouched nature, local people, delicious food and wine make this place worth to visit. And, of course, the host, Misha, makes this experience unforgettable and very comfortable. I will definitely be back. Nothing to mention
