• David (8/5): A brilliant home base to launch into Florence's attractions from with friendly hosts! - Very friendly hosts who went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and catered for. Lovely breakfast left for us each morning. We had the whole top shelf of a large fridge and access to cooking facilities of a lovely kitchen. Bathroom is well-appointed and next to bedroom. The house is close enough to the centre of Florence to be accessible. We bought a 3 day pass for tram/bus which worked out well as the stop was just outside the building for the #9 bus and transfer at Batoni station for #1 tram (20-25 min all up). We were out all day and really just ate and slept there which suited us on our budget! We knew going into it there were shared facilities - so no problem with that. The children being bathed when we arrived home a little earlier tied up the bathroom, and short cries from a waking baby in the night were reminders to us of our child-raising years (not their fault of course)! Also the floating Vinyl type flooring was very noisy at night to walk on. Fortunately we were tired enough that their use of the bathroom in the night didn't really affect us, and we of course were concerned about disturbing them... just letting others know in case that's a deal breaker.
• Odira (8/5): Stay was generally exciting with happy family though language barrier was a problem. - Location is good and well serviced by an integrated transport service of bus and tram.. Breakfast was average. Kitchen utensils were a bit limiting hence need improvement.
