• Feline (10/5): Erholung pur - wir kommen wieder! - Wir sind als Paar zu zweit außerhalb der Schulferien im September gereist - in Griechenland offiziell „off-Saison“, was jedoch bedeutet, dass alles nicht so überfüllt ist und wir tatsächlich einige Tage allein mit einem anderen Paar in der Unterkunft waren. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem Berg, direkt am Hang. Hinter sich die Berge, vor einem das Meer. Es gibt links und rechts von der Unterkunft kleine Strände/Buchten wo kaum wer ist, im Vergleich zu vollen Stränden im Ort. Ein Auto ist sinnvoll, die Orte Amyrida und Kalyes sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, es geht allerdings Berg auf und ab. Wir haben Tage am Pool verbracht, sind wandern gegangen im Innenland, haben in Almyrida ein Boot für 1 Tag ausgeliehen, sind mit dem Bus nach Chania in die Stadt. Mal selbst kochen in der Unterkunft, mal essen gegangen. Alles wunderbar! Litsa ist sehr warmherzig, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft eignet sich vor allem für Paare, es ist ruhig und darauf wird auch Wert gelegt, was wir persönlich gut finden. Keine Partys o.Ä.. Die meisten Leute die wir während unseres Aufenthalts trafen waren super nett und freundlich. Es gibt maximal 6 Wohnungen/Apartments. Wie hatten das Glück und hatten Nr 6 mit Blick aufs Meer und Blick auf die Berge.

• Sofiia (9/5): - Мені було дуже комфортно знаходитись,я людина яка важко звикає до нового,але в апартаментах було все чисте,все що треба-нове. Але хочу сказати,що мені здається без машини було б дуже складно,тому майте на увазі. Ми хотіли спокій і краєвиди,це на всі 1000 Якщо б вирішили проблему в кнопкою унітазу то всі 10+. Не заважає,але для досконалості😄

• ZG13 (10/5): - The highliggt is the shared area - fully equipped kitchen with outdoor space and a pool. All rooms get fully cleaned every other day, towels changed, garbage bin emptied, etc Very quiet location with great view - ideal for a getaway retreat from city noise and stress. Ideal for couples - could be very romantic without the kids ;) The bathroom is a bit small, and there might be more shelves around the sink.

Everything exceeded my expectations — from the warm welcome at check-in, complete with all the necessary instructions, to the comfortable and spotless room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the swimming pool area, the view, the cleanliness, and the self-service kitchen that has all that you need! Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience, and I would gladly recommend this place to others. I look forward to staying again in the future!
• Dominika (9/5): - Pohodlné studio s luxusním bazénem a výhledem, velmi pohodlná lehátka. Ocenili jsme klid i samoobslužný café bar s velkou vybavenou kuchyní, super byl výrobník ledu. Pláž de facto soukromá přímo pod domem, musí se k ní dojít cca 500 m, pozvolný, písčitý vstup do vody. Je škoda, že není přímý vstup k moři, ale musí se obcházet vedlejší pozemek patřící ke Kera Apartments. Dříve to bylo propojené, dnes se již jedná o dvě oddělená místa. Vše však vynahrazuje nádherná terasa, která nabízí soukromí a pohodlí.

• Camille (9/5): Excellent ! La personne qui nous a accueilli était très gentille. - Dès qu’on arrive, on en prend plein la vue, piscine avec vue mer, absolument magnifique. Tout est neuf et propre. La cuisine partagée est très moderne et design. On est bien accueilli. On se sert dans le frigo (boissons et snacks), on note ce que l’on a pris et on paie cela à la fin. Tout était très bien, par contre même si il y a de quoi faire à manger dans le studio (coin cuisine), on préfère le faire dans la cuisine partagée qui est beaucoup plus spacieuse.

• Mihaela (10/5): With a breathtaking view, this is the only place I would return! - The apartment was really nice and very clean, and the view from the balcony was great. But the jewel of this property is the view from the pool; it is to die for, with amazing cliffs, lots of green, and so quiet as it is between villages, and the other really well-equipped kitchen, with glasses, more fridges, and ice. It was so nice to sit in the evening and take a drink and just watch the sunset and hear the waves. I usually don't go twice to the same place, as life is short and I want to visit new places all the time, but here, I would go at least one more time, and this time to stay and relax, not to run like I did to see the island. Last but not least, the host is exceptional, really great; I would give her 10 of 10. Thank you so much for everything. It is not that I didn't like it, but going down to the beach you have to cross the other property, and from what I understood, they don't allow it. I was there once, so they didn't have time to tell me anything, but I am thinking if I would have stayed only there, I would probably have asked them nicely. Anyway, there is a road to go to the beach. it will take longer on foot, but by car it's maybe 5 minutes. So, just be aware of this.
• Alar (9/5): Superb - Very good location to visit the west side of the island. Between two villages that offer restaurants and simple shops. The main attraction is the beautiful pool area and the views. Just breathtaking. Very good size pool for the hotel. Never crowded. Beach is just 10 minutes or less by foot. Rooms are simple but OK. Good parking, wich is rare in Crete. Weirdly you couldn't get normal water during the day. It was only hot. We had to let the hot water run a long time before it got cool enough to use.

• Ruben (10/5): A stay we will never forget (in the most positive way)! - 10/10 vacation. The accomodation is gorgeously located in a bay between two villages. The quiet, sandy beach is only a couple of minutes away, with crystal clear and shallow waters. There are barely any tourists, only some locals. Hidden gem, really! The view from both the patio as well as the community/pool area is picturesque! Nothing is blocking the view to the beautiful sea. The concept of the community area with self-service is really unique and lovely and you can get small snacks and refreshing drinks for reasonable prices. Last but not least, the lovely host Litsa is very open to help you with any questions and favors and has great recommendations of restaurants/taverns in the area and beyond! The only disadvantage of the remote location is the need for a car. You CAN walk to the nearby villages of Kalyves or Almyrida, but that is a 10 to 15 minute walk up and down the hills with patches you'd have to walk on the main road. Doable, but I would not recommend to do these at night, nevermind with kids. So to get to the nearest taverns or shops, you'd have to go on a little adventure.
• Catherine (9/5): Wonderful peaceful stay at Kera Studios, it was just what we needed. - We spent a wonder 6 days at Kera Studios and Litsa was so very helpful when we needed any information or asked for any extra help! The new extension of the pool and the shared kitchen area was really lovely and we used the kitchen to make some lunch one day and used the pool when we got back from various outings. It was a very relaxing environment and the views were just spectacular! I loved going down to Kera Beach and had quite a few swims with nobody else about which was very special. You do really need a car to be able to get out to restaurants etc but we collected and dropped off at the airport so it worked well not having to worry about airport taxis etc. It was always planned this way and we wanted to be in a remote location Nothing!

• Szymon (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful family holiday at Kera Studios in Crete. The sea view from our room was amazing. The pool area was lovely and perfect for relaxing. The common kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed. Our room was comfortable and made our stay enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Kera Studios for a peaceful and pleasant family getaway.
• Mike (10/5): Peaceful place to stay! - Rooms were adequate for a few nights stay. Clean and tidy. Large private terrace was a bonus. Shutters on doors block out sun to sleep well. Very lovely and helpful staff. Beautiful pool and communal kitchen area. Nothing we didn't like. But would highly reccomend having a car if you're staying here.
• Meir (4/5): Disappointing - Despite the location being really remotes it is indeed offering a remarkable view and peace of mind atmosphere. 1)Arrived at 11:30 Am when Initially planned to check in at Sep/3 at 15:00. 2) The young Male stuff explained that the room won't be available before 14:00 which is the official check in time according to their website and as advertise on booking.com. 3)! At 14:15 I approached the front desk male and asked if my room is ready and shockingly enough his answer was " unfortunately not, we have one housekeeper who need to catch up with all the rooms preparations plus you stated that you gonna be checking in at 15:00-16:00, end of quote!!! Needless to say that I was simply shocked and overwhelmed by the front desk male response. I explained that I had a midnight flight and that was actually up all night no sleep and found it unwelcoming to not make the effort to get the room ready as promptly as possible according to any service standards worldwide. I literally waited for 2.5 hours out at the back yard while I was asked to wait an additional 2 hours until 16:00. At that point I declared that I am not feeling welcome and That I rather cancel my stay and leave which I was ready with my mind and soul to do so. Only then the young front desk male offered me to wait another 5 minutes and they will get the room ready for me . Simply unbelievable and super disappointing. 4) The room I got was dirty and the floors were wet and I could spot human hair all around . 5) I called. That young male again ( I believe his name is Costa) to point out the fact that the room is dirty and the floor is wet and I asked him for a mop which I myself took care of the rest of the cleaning. Not a joke , all true facts !!! 6) The room itself is much smaller than what the pictures showed on your site ( booking.com) and the bath and toilet are the tiniest I have ever encounter in my world traveling experience that bits even those small rooms hotels and guests houses in Manhattan New York!!!!
• Tanya (10/5): A hidden gem!!! Will return :) - Fabulous location and wonderful hosts! The interiors are very modern and pleasant; plenty of room and much comfort. The water pressure is the best in Crete! The pool is well maintained and very clean. The sandy (!) beach is just a few steps away; this was one of the highlights and a selling point for me! The WiFi connection was weak and temperamental. The fridge in my room was not cold enough (unable to make ice), so I used the big fridge-freezer in the communal area.

• __filip (10/5): Extremely pleasant and comfortable resort with stunning view of the sea - Our host, Kostas, was very friendly and was always available for suggestions and any help we needed. Our studio had a fantastic view of the beach and the pool, very clean and renovated. Facilities were carefully maintained and cleaned, the shared kitchen was brand new. There is a large and quiet terrace to relax and lay down, with tables to have your food and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The pool with sunbeds and the bar next to it was great, we had a nice time there. There's a beach very close that can be accessed directly from the pool. Also, the resort has a large private parking area, we always had a place. There is no microwave, so if you want to quickly heat up some food you have to use a pan or the oven. If you are not a morning person, you should know that there were two roosters in the area that would sometimes wake us up early. Going to the city center wasn't that easy on foot, as you have to walk up on a dirt road for 6-7 minutes and then go on the main road that has no sidewalk. Driving there takes less than 5 minutes, so that's a plus.
• Sarah (10/5): A wonderful, relaxing place to stay. - Lovely modern interior within lovely authentic Greek buildings. Fantastic amenities and overall a relaxing stay. Rooms are on the small side which is perfect for a couple or single traveller for a short stay. Also no footpaths to get to nearby towns however still doable!

Great service - everything you needed is there: big pool, 2 bar/kitchen with toalets, food/drink can be bought on the spot (you sign in the notebook and at the end you pay - unfortunately, the prices are high, but you have to pay for convenience). overall a wonderful place, I recommend it and hope to come back air conditioning only in the bedroom(a second one for the rest of the apartment would be useful)

• Peter (7/5): Good - Nice quiet location with not too many apartments. The swimming pool was set aside from the apartments on a lawn, high up overlooking the sea. I like quiet locations, however this was a twenty minute walk to Kalyves or Almyrida, so no popping out to the local taverna or for a beer. More a destination for the evening or a drive.

Not being in the vicinity of the main road was a plus for us as we enjoyed our rest in a quiet and scenic setting. Room was exactly as in the photos posted here. Very friendly and helpful host. Not much closet space available

• Sylwia (8/5): Very good - I really like the localization, the garden and all plants in it. Also the sorroundings, beach and very helpful staff that recommended nice places arround. The view from the room where I stayed was not perfect. I did see the sea from the balcony when I moved the chairs to specific direction. But I would not call it "room with the view on the seaside". The view from the garden was perfect though. And seems this is only one such room in the whole building.
• Debbie (10/5): The most beautiful place in the world! :) - The most beautiful relaxing place with out of this world spectacular views .. we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another few nights! Close to the pretty villages of Kalyves and Almiryda but tucked away between the two on a cliff facing out to sea with only the sounds of birds and waves .. not a car to be heard! You can walk to both villages or stay in and get food delivered. There's a fantastic communal kitchen and a beautiful outdoor terrace where you can sit with the other guests and enjoy some food and drinks (there is an honesty bar stocked with cold beers, wine, etc and you choose what you want and write it in the book, so handy when arriving after a late flight!) it was so nice to see families and friends enjoying meals together and there's a great big bbq at your disposal too! George was just fantastic and he loves chatting to his guests and really cannot do enough for you. The apts are so comfortable with everything you need, every room has a balcony with seaviews. The pool and gardens were so relaxing with steps down to a small cute little beach with complimentary kayaks and paddle boards to use and a little island to explore! You really will love it here. We are so happy to have found such a special beautiful place to return to and will be telling everyone about this fabulous place. Thank you George and all the staff for everything. Xx
