• Fran Gascón Gutiérrez (5/5): Apartamento reformado, edificio maloliente - La atención del personal que nos explicó todo muy bien. Fantástica la iluminación y el aire acondicionado de la habitación. El edificio necesita una reforma urgente y el primer piso huele bastante mal. El apartamento está en el segundo piso y por suerte está reformado. La habitación, con dos camas, era pequeña con escaso hueco para pasar de una cama a la otra y tiene el baño compartido.

• Filip (5/5): Less likely to come back - Room at the first steps looked ok and the location regarding the city center was ok. Arrived Late,need to call the owner, from the entrance in the building was a notice on the door from the city hall, the staircase was dirty and parts of the ceiling were falling. They open the door remotely, went in the room, the floor was not clean properly and the bedsheets and blankets looked used and old. The room was with balcony with a lot of noise from locals over the road, and the window covers were broken. No Parking near the location if you are lucky. Shared Bathroom was ok. A lot of smell of weed everywhere in the area.

• Sam (7/5): - La chambre est propre et bien située. Le check-in est facile et la communication est bonne. Il n’y a pas de cuisine ni de micro-ondes, ce qui rend difficile de préparer ou chauffer la nourriture.

Duchas sucias, interruptores con sustancias viscosas y secas, retrete destrozado, sillones con manchas, alfombras sucias. La plaza donde está el alojamiento, muchos magrebíes que te increpan y te miran mal. Por la noche hay mucho ruido, gente borracha y gritos

• Maria Alejandra (6/5): No está mal - Todo perfecto dentro del apartamento limpio las habitaciones muy bien todo asea Pues al llegar la verdad el frente del lugar pensábamos q era un hotel ho encontraba la dirección nos dimes cuenta q era como una casa en leal estado con humedad pues se sorprende uno mucho las escaleras sucias llenas de matas y pues se siente uno incomo pero co.o era solo para una noche pues bueno igual muchas gracias

• Cardozo (7/5): - Era casi imposible encontrar uno de los baños desocupados, y eso que habian dos! En la cocina dejamos el primer dia una botella con agua en la heladera y al otro dia ya no estaba. Rateamos bajo la estadia por que la convivencia en general con las otras habitaciones dejo que desear. En cuanto al cuarto, bien para el precio. La atencion con los dueños super.

• Jorge (3/5): - Relativamente cerca de estación de tren y de casco viejo. Nos cambiaron de alojamiento 2 días antes (habiendo reservado con meses de antelación) y solo avisaron de que se iba a hacer dicho cambio tras yo contactar primero por otro motivo. El alojamiento, llamado en booking "Habitación en Zabalburu", no tenía aire acondicionado y era un auténtico horno insufrible. Se estaba muchísimo "mejor" en la calle a 30 o 40 grados que dentro de la habitación. El ventilador que había ayudaba cero. Ojo, por 96 euros/noche y no era ni fin de semana ni, aún, fiestas.

• Andrew (1/5): Never again. - Nothing. Terrible area, somewhat close to center. Just the worst place I’ve stayed in decades. Disgusting. Room smells of stale perfume. Bed was unclean. No staff so you have to text or call to be let in. Bizarre place and also awful value for money. Should be maximum 20 euros. Limited my time in room. Stayed for 2 hrs and left.

• Antonio (6/5): Ok for sleeping. Nothing special. - Nice location. Cleaned room. Small room. Beds are basically attached. One bathroom for three or four rooms: not always cleaned. Not even chance to get water or do a tea. Feels more like a private flat with a shared bathroom.
• Markus (7/5): Basic but fresh, comfortable and well functioning - Clean rooms and fresh furniture. Tidy, fresh and fully functional bathroom (though shared). Good size wardrobe. Comfortable beds. Small balcony (no furniture) for e.g. drying clothes or to get some air. Everything working nicely with booking, communication with host etc. Basic "hotel" with no physical reception and no personnel in place. Communication only online. Entry door opened electronically/remotely by host on first entry - not necessarily bad, but good to know. Much noise from surroundings, e.g. almost constant barking of dogs close by - even with closed balcony door. The building's staircase was very dirty and worn, but the "apartment" with the rooms inside felt new and fresh. Room is small and has no chairs. Only beds and bed tables + wardrobe.

Neighborhood is so far from everything, no restaurants around, lots o - The bed was comfortable, ceiling fan worked Tv never worked, no reading lights by bed or in the room, no kettle available, view of a basketball court, lots of noise from street and from other rooms kept me awake until 1:30 am.

• Henry (4/5): Youth hostel standard on the outskirts. - Toilet/shower was pretty good and it was clean. Easy to check-in, staff were good. Front door lock broken (open) and stairwell in bad condition. Wasn't central, 30 minute walk to center and reminded me of old British youth hostels with bunk beds, shared amenities, no lounge and little space. Bed linen was nylon and a bit grubby (but clean). Functional but nowhere near what I would expect for €90/night

I received a WhatsApp message asking to call when we arrived. My friend's WhatsApp didn't work, so I messaged via booking that we had arrived. We waited. Neighbor's let us in the building. We found the room and buzzed the audio / video doorbell. The audio was terrible. Neither we nor the neighbor could understand a word. The neighbor thought we were in the wrong place until we showed the address. He confirmed & tried to explain to whomever was answering the doorbell. We still couldn't understand a word. Finally someone came and said we should have called via WhatsApp. We had tried, but it didn't go through. It was a pain after a long day of travel.
